My first experience here was unpleasant and I'm likely to never purchase anything here again. I ordered a pocket door for a bathroom remodel project. My salesman Larry was nice enough, however a seemingly simple order, A DOOR, either didn't arrive or Larry ordered the wrong door, or MFG sent wrong door. Whatever the reason, the whole feel and the process sucked! Larry tried make up for it by having the door shipped to HPL LTL and said don't worry they would cover the cost. How nice of you! I ordered the door May 20th!! You told me 7-10 days. It took 29 days to get a small pocket door. Unacceptable! When the door arrives, it's dirty, has ding marks on it and really isn't perfect. If I didn't wait 29 days and need it for a party we are having I'd send it back.. read more

We order over 5k worth of materials from them for our kitchen. It didn't show up on the day it was supposed to. When I called to find out why they were extremely rude and hung up on me. when I called back to ask for a manager they put me on hold but I could hear them laughing about how they hung up on me the 1st time. When the material did arrive some of it was damage. They had the nerve to tell me that it was looked over and was excepted by us. We weren't even there when it was delivered. I'm still fighting with them to get this resolve. Its put us weeks behind. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Our experience was awful it's likely yours will be as well read more

I bought lumber for my fence here because everyone said you should spend the extra money for dry, high quality wood from a lumberyard and not go to a big box store. Well, not only were the pressure treated posts I got extremely wet (so much for lumberyards only selling well dried wood), the majority of posts I bought had patches of fuzzy green mold. One post was completely covered in it and was unusable. Since they pick and load all the lumber for you, I unfortunately didn't discover this until I was unloading it at home and they were already closed. I'm disgusted and enraged that I spent so much extra money to get worse quality wood than I would have at Home Depot. Also, they have Trump/Pence and NRA signs aggressively displayed at registers. Yet another reason why I'm utterly disgusted with myself for giving this business one red cent of my hard earned money. Bought Marsh cabinets from them. Half my cabinets were made with refurbished backs that have up to 12 random horizontal holes in them. Look in your spec book. Cabinets do not have 12 holes in the backs for no reason. I would never recommend this company. Buyer beware . read more

They were highly recommended by a neighbor so I visited and asked for the designer at the front desk. I was told she was not there and to send her an e-mail. I went looking around their showroom and ran into the designer and her assistant in their office! I introduced myself and told them that I wanted new countertops (they don't do floors or appliances). When they heard that I was only interested in new countertops, I was told that the designer was too busy to help and that the assistant would guide me. If you are wanting to redesign the entire kitchen with doors, countertops, cabinets and moar they are VERY interested in you. If you only want one thing, not interested. I got better enthusiasm at Lowes so Lowes will get my money (and probably more of it because they can do the whole thing). When your first transaction with a company is being lied to, turn around and walk out. read more

Larry Carpenter (for real lol) is the guy to look for when looking for answers regarding the wood you are thinking of using on any project. He showed us sample wood, gave us pricing, and not only did he give us information about the wood itself, but the background of how they come to obtaining it. He was super helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming...as we thanked him he said we can come back and get more ideas from him. Definitely will be coming back!! read more

They assisted me to purchase the correct items, helped return the mis-purchased, carried and seeked out the hard to locate items- class act group! When I became a Realtor, they transformed to help my business by taking care of my direct clients, referring installers and products and conducting businesses on the highest level. This business is a reputable business and will deliver a high quality product for cheaper than the 'big box'. Small Business wins again- if you can believe it! I was hesitant to tell them that because they wouldn't be getting the business in the end. But the gal who helped me was so very helpful and clear, leading me to less expensive options and really knowing her stuff, I had to confess, and even after that she continued to be just as helpful. If you need quality lumber in lengths and types (much better quality and usually less expensive than the 'big box' stores), a wider selection of essential building and designing products, then this is where you should check first. This is not a "Home Depot" style store. There is a showroom with some utility 'smalls' and a very knowledgeable, sales desk, with several people behind the counter to keep things moving. You drive into the warehouse adjoining the sales area, and pick up items like wood, for example, where there are several employees inside that will guide you and help you with the pick up. It has a very good selection of cabinetry, kitchen ideas, and samples, plus the a great door selection. Experienced 'Do-it-yourselfers' and professionals may find this 'lumberyard' atmosphere type of service store more appealing than a 'big box' store, but less experienced builders will find the enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff helpful, as well.
