Once she knew my interest was legit, she grabbed her quote form and asked me questions and provided a rough based quote on information I provided. Little did I know she was the owner. She bought the business 3 years prior. I was already impressed but knowing this was a female owned company held a high amount of influence for me, in my head. They came out and measured, they were here when they were supposed to be. They installed the granite when they told me and their installers worked hard, and fast yet took the time to answer questions as they were installing it. Overall I would highly recommend Angela and her team at Pure as they were top notch for my counters.

Poor installation job. Pure Granite buys slabs from the local granite wholesalers, marks up the…read moreprice, and does installation, so their only value add is installation. My usual fabricator was booked two months out so picked Pure Granite in order to get a rehab to market quickly. Project included kitchen, island, full bath and half bath. No complex cuts or edges. When the installation crew arrived, I discovered that most of the installers were recent hires and only one of the installers had any real experience installing granite. By the time that the crew left for the day, the job was only partially completed and in checking what was done, the full bath install was botched... significantly out of level and not flush with cabinets. I had the crew come back and tear out the bath install. This required repairing the drywall. Once the drywall was repaired I rescheduled the installation for the following week. Monday... no call, no show. Rescheduled for following Thursday and called to confirm for the installation to be done in the afternoon. No show. Installer finally called at 6:30PM to say they were running late... rescheduled for the following week. On the final visit, the invoice that was $1000 higher than what was originally quoted, and included additional charges for the visits that were needed to come back and correct their mistakes. The kitchen backsplash install was never completed. Don't confuse the look of the slabs with the quality of the installation. Granite is expensive and while the slabs might look great, a poor quality installation process will destroy your investment.

He said he couldn't find product. Another week went by and he put me on a 3 way call with the supplier. The supplier said the counters had been available for over a week. He then gave me an installation date a week later. He cancelled last minute that day and pushed it back 2 days. I went to his so called shop to verify materials were there and being fabricated. They weren't. He showed up while I was walking around and said they were being polished at another location and assured me they would be installed the following day. I contacted him the next day and he said they would be on site by 3. He cancelled again a little after 3 saying the granite broke. He said he might have new granite in a few days. It has now been a month and I asked for my deposit back. He said sure. I gave him my Venmo and he said he couldn't figure it out. He scheduled time to meet me the following day. He was a no show, no call, no replies. Another business owner who completes the jobs for Mike was there and let me know that Mike isn't an honest person or business owner and never ordered my materials and was lying about the entire job. Mike stole my money and cashed my check. He did reply saying he will refund me in full. I'm still waiting for the refund.
