We just spent 4 days here. We rented a pontoon for the day for $120 plus gas. We stayed in cabin #4. It had air conditioning, stove, refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Everything is in good working condition and clean! It is not a 4 star hotel but we were not expecting that. Each cabin has a gas grill and fire pit. You can buy firewood, ice and bait. The resort is on Lake Wabedo, which is a good sized lake. We saw eagles, deer and loons. We loved hearing the loons call each other . Maggie and Jerry were excellent hosts and take very good care of you.

Shady, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable…read more I prepaid for a three-day stay at the Wigwam Motel in Emily but decided to leave after two days. I checked out at approximately 8:00 in the morning and asked to be refunded for the unused third day. They refused to refund me. I called repeatedly trying to resolve the situation. After two or three phone calls with the manager, I was told they did not have the ability to issue my refund and that someone else would need to handle it. They promised to contact that person and call me back. Instead, they eventually stopped returning my calls altogether. I made several reasonable attempts to resolve this directly with management, but all I received were excuses, changing explanations, and the runaround. Refusing to address the unused prepaid night was bad enough, but promising to call me back and then ignoring my calls made the entire situation feel extremely shady and dishonest. This was one of the most unprofessional motel experiences I have ever had. There was no accountability, no effort to resolve the problem, and no basic respect shown to me as a paying guest. I would strongly advise anyone considering this motel to stay somewhere else.

We booked our vacation in March and was looking forward to being on the lake once the dreaded Arizona summer hit. We booked cabin #3 which had two bedrooms and one bath with a wonderful view of the lake, a nice sized deck, and a fire pit. All the kitchen appliances were available including a dishwasher! The basic cookware and dishes were also included. It was the perfect size for our family of five. It was so clean and tidy upon check in and it even smelled nice and not musty (been to other cabins that had this problem). We unpacked our things and had enough space for everything, groceries included. The amenities on the lake were so fantastic! The kids enjoyed the playground which included swings, seesaw, slides, and a sandbox. They even had swings right on the sand so you could jump off into the water. We also took advantage of the peddle boats, canoe, paddle boards, and key log. They were all included with our reservations and didn't have to pay extra. But be sure to bring quarters for the arcade room. You're gonna need it! Oh and if you plan on doing laundry they do have washers and dryers that take quarters. My babies (ages 9, 6, & 2) participated in the kids fishing contest and they were so thrilled. Although I think they loved playing with the worms more than the fish. On Wednesday they held a ceremony and they each received an award for their catch of the day with my little one getting the "smallest fish caught" award which he held up proudly. There are also towns close by to grab a bite to eat which we did twice during the week. My hubby even got to play golf since there was a course nearby. The owners were wonderful and very down to earth. They greeted us at check in and made us feel welcomed. I would always see them chatting up with other visitors as if they were life long friends. Many of the visitors are return customers and make yearly trips to the lake. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and created cherished family memories. We used the larger cabin on the water front. Great placement, we loved and used the deck out front every night! For the price that was listed online is what we got. Nothing fancy or overly accommodating but we didn't pay for that. You can find many cabins along many of lakes that cost quite a bit more then here. The cabin was clean and had lots of room inside to place all of the stuff we brought up. Having a kitchen and grills located on site was very helpful. I would recommend on bringing your own pillow as most of them were on the flat side but no big deal if you know ahead of time. The beds were very simple but way better then sleeping on the ground. It was nice to have our own harbor to park the boats every night and power was near for charging batteries just bring a cord. Bait and ice were available at the main lodge. they have an onsite fish cleaning house, we were all a bit confused on what to do with any water so that would be a good question to ask if you choose to use the fish house. Give it a try the owners are very friendly and helpful. Oh they have wifi but I couldn't get it to work fyi
