After initial inquiries with multiple auto detailing businesses in the DFW, I selected Wilson for his product knowledge, professionalism, demeanor, and effective communication. The location of his business (shared with MMotorWorx in Addison) is easy to get to and in a very clean/safe neighborhood. After discussing the ceramic coating process, I selected the Ethos Max Graphene product, which comes with a 7 year warranty. Throughout the 1 day+ process, Wilson kept me informed periodically which helped as I needed to eventually get a ride back to his work location. Upon picking up the car, the results were phenomenal, both inside and out. I look forward to washing the car for the first time to see how easy the dirt just comes off with minimal effort. I would highly recommend Dallas Detailing & Buffing....reach out to Wilson and he will take care of you. (I'm familiar with ceramic coating as I had one of my cars in CA done with the Ceramic Pro product. The coating on that vehicle has stayed true the last 18 months, but it will be interesting to see if Ethos Max Graphene beats it in terms of protective qualities and longevity. Nonetheless, both products are great!)

We went over the vehicle together and he told me exactly what he thought he could do in each area. I highly recommend his services, you will get what you payed for!

This is a one man operation, you drop your vehicle at Jay's address, and need a ride out…read more Discuss your situation with Jay, but he will need to get into it first to tell you what a primary estimate is. Jay worked in the industry for years, but the pace of pushing maximum number of customers each day was getting old. He learned a lot, but did not earn a lot for the stress. The commute was another factor. Jay likes being at his own place, calling his own pace, because he gives each customer good honest attention, and it is fixed the first time. I bought a used truck, "As Is" off a dealer lot... as if I am an Idiot! Prior owner had hacked all the wiring all through the dash installing his own radio & trailer brake lights. I paid the dealer to replace burned out starter... then the generator that ate 2 Sears batteries... then the ECM Finally, while on Yelp one day, by luck I landed on an account that reviewed Jay, and this lady was joyous! I hobbled my vehicle over, left it with Jay. Took out my mountain bike to cruise the area. Jay called later, said "Got er Done!" Jay showed me the Frankenstein spaghetti wiring harness that he yanked out of my dash "As Is" OMG! Now for good part: brand new taillight assemblies, wired correctly, now no more dead batteries. Radio works correctly, and gadgets lights are better to read in all types of light. Horn works, and turn signals too. You know, the dealership already replaced the ECM for $1,000? I got all this done for $600 cash it was 5 hours, but I was out goofing around so it went by fast, no complaints. Jay is a good guy, but just 1 guy, so your deal with Jay is how you make the deal. Obviously not a rush job mechanic. If you bring the correct parts, that could be a deal maker.

Tony and his wife Lisa were who we spoke with and who worked on our Model 3 (2021). Tony himself was the actual installer and to say he went "above and beyond" is an understatement. First off, they were able to get us a great deal for the top-of-the-line XPEL XR Plus tint on all glass surfaces. This meant they did all the windows, the glass roof, even the windshield itself - apparently they are able to put an almost clear layer so it doesn't impact visibility that also still manages to block out a TON of heat. Second, when they first checked over the vehicle, they found a handful of flaws I had not seen (we had just gotten the vehicle only days before deciding we wanted to get tint installed before the summer really kicked off), and showed us before ever getting started to put us at ease with how they were going to handle the vehicle and let us know up front of any issues they found. Third, when Tony got to work, he actually noted that at some point some of the paneling had been hastily re-set into place, and was not correctly re-installed... so he took it upon himself to properly correct the issue, bending fasteners that were not correctly attached into their intended positions... meaning when they gave us the car back, not only was the tint installed perfectly, but the car was technically in even better shape than when we picked it up directly from Tesla's own shop in Dallas since now all the internal panels had been fastened as designed from the factory itself! They even registered the warranty for the XPEL tint so we didn't have to worry about any sort of future coverage should any issues occur with the film itself. In the past, I've gone with other tinters and I've had issues come up years later with peeling, cracking, and tearing, but I have a feeling that this is not going to be happening with Tony's work. I don't think we'll be going anywhere else but Tony's from now on. Now we just need to get a time where we can be without the vehicle for a few more days so we can get PPF + Ceramic coating installed on the body. In summary, if you want your vehicle tint installed professionally by some hard-working honest folks who know their craft really well and care about quality - go see Tony and his wife Lisa.

Top-Notch Service & Honest Work!…read more Brought my Tesla Performance here for a blackout badge install, and I couldn't be happier. When they removed the old logo, there was some tough factory glue left behind. Instead of risking damage by trying to chisel it off, they took the cautious approach and installed the new badge around it--showing real attention to detail. What really impressed me was their honesty--they didn't charge me for the work as a courtesy. That kind of integrity is rare! I'll definitely be bringing my other Teslas here and recommending them to anyone looking for quality work. 10/10--these guys are perfectionists!

This is going to be long, but if you're considering taking your vehicle here, you should read it…read more I'm being detailed because I genuinely hope it prevents someone else from going through what I did. Thankfully, I also work for many law firms that deal with car wrecks so they know where NOT to send their clients. I've taken my car to this shop for three separate accidents over the years. The first two were mostly body damage repairs and I had no major issues. The third accident, a front-end collision in September 2025, turned into an absolute nightmare. Between September 2025 and May 2026, I had to bring my car back FIVE separate times for the exact same unresolved issues. Eventually, I gave up and took my car elsewhere because Magic Touch still had not properly repaired it and almost caused my insurance company to total the vehicle until I canceled the claim to avoid that. The biggest issue involved my AC system. I repeatedly told them something was still wrong, but instead of actually finding the leak, they kept refilling the refrigerant and sending me on my way. Because of that negligence, my compressor eventually failed and the casing cracked -- despite the compressor only being a little over a year old. Out of those five return visits, they reimbursed my rental car twice after I complained about continuously paying out of pocket because I don't have another vehicle. One visit, they even handed me Visa gift cards after again failing to fix the issue. It honestly felt less like customer service and more like, "We're tired of dealing with you." I also have recordings from my last drop-off. In one, the owner, Brody, points at my car and asks, "What's up with that?" When another employee says, "The AC is having problems again," Brody responds, "Nah, f**k that," while complaining about my car being back again. Maybe if the issue had been fixed the first time, it wouldn't have kept coming back. Every time I returned, I was treated more like an inconvenience than a customer simply asking them to fix the same unresolved problem. Eventually, they had to involve the shop across the street because they couldn't figure it out themselves. One employee texted me the quote from that shop, then later sent me (after I asked the next day) another estimate that was literally DOUBLE what they had originally been told, because "if they denied it then they still had room to cover repairs" is what the text message from the shop said -- and that inflated estimate had already been sent to the insurance company. When the insurance company later contacted me to say they were considering totaling my car, I sent them all the text messages, recordings, and estimates I had received. The adjuster literally told me they were confused because insurance had ended up covering damage that the shop itself may have contributed to through negligence by failing to locate the leak when I originally reported it. The adjuster even used the words "insurance fraud" -- not me. At that point, I took my car elsewhere to a shop that has done major repairs for me before. I'm now paying around $3,400 out of pocket just to finally have my vehicle repaired correctly. To make things even worse, the new shop discovered that Magic Touch had replaced my radiator after the wreck and apparently NEVER added coolant. I brought my car there six total times, including immediately after the accident, and somehow nobody noticed the coolant reservoir was empty? That repair is now being added to my bill along with an expansion valve replacement. You can call me a liar if you want, but I have endless text messages, recordings, invoices, and documentation to back up every single thing I'm saying. The unfortunate reality is that they seem friendly until they no longer want to deal with your vehicle. Once that happens, you absolutely feel it. The ONLY reason this review is getting two stars instead of one is because the body work itself looked decent.

In came Phil and his team to save the day- and my sanity. Stopped by the shop and Phil walked up to me and immediately saw what was I was referring to. (See before pic) He and his team totally turned it around and brought it back to when it was at its prime. Inside and out this thing is MINT. The paint is a mirror- the reflections are crazy- and I look forward to having a fresh coating for easy maintenance going forward. Inside the leather is smooth and supple and conditioned, glass is gleaming, and there isn't a speck of dog hair or anything inside. Total reset and spotless. I could not be happier with how it came out!! And Phil kept me updated DAILY with the status of my truck; with videos and progress reports. This was such a cool thing to do. And much appreciated. If you're OCD about your vehicles or just need a GREAT detail Philthy's is the place. Phil is an awesome dude and he and Kody of New Image Detail (under the same roof now!) should be your ONLY considerations for anything detail related. They're the best of the best!! True artists at their trade. Only guys I've trusted with all my vehicles. And would never trust another. Thank you again Philthy's!!

I needed my car detailed to pass inspections at the Dallas VPC and Phil went above and beyond!…read more First, I contacted Phil last minute and he was able to schedule me in 5 hours before my VPC appointment time on a Friday. Second, the website stated: "Steam cleaning of all interior surface areas. All door panels, seats and instruments cleaned. Interior vacuumed & glass cleaned. Hand wash exterior, engine bay, undercarriage, and wheel faces cleaned. Exterior protection applied to all painted surfaces." I had dirt and little rocks everywhere from tracking it in my car (it has been raining a lot in Texas), as well as white pet hair in the back seat, and Phil and his team figuratively gave me a BRAND NEW car. When my car was being inspected at the VPC he said, "I'd never have guessed you owned a dog because this interior detailing is spotless." I was already impressed with Phil's work when he showed me the finished product, and I was even more shocked at Phil's work when I was watching the inspector do his review of all the cracks and crevices. Truly amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship! Overall, I can't thank Phil and his team enough for making my car spotless and for helping me pass inspections at the VPC.
