This is my second visit to Hyatt Regency Irvine. We came around Christmas holidays and the decor was stunning. The hotel is a hidden gem. They renovated the place and the LED screens around including the pool gives it a modern feel. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite due to my status. It was a very nice 2 bedroom suite with a sofa in one room and a king bed in the other. The room was immaculate. The view is of the offices. The service here is great. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star is the club lounge requires a reservation on open table. I know they have to do it when they're busy but it is highly inconvenient. I do love their club lounge though. The food offerings are great. The staff there are helpful. The lounge while small, is a quiet place to hang out.

Side shelf next to bed with a lamp and plugs- excellent!

Absolutely 5 stars. I mean, that's what you're paying for, right? Convenient location, right off the 405. Check in couldn't be easier, on the property they have a great restaurant, a really cool bar, awesome pool with a big screen. This trip we watched the Winter Olympics while lounging in the pool (flex). The service is top notch and everyone working here is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have extra amenities I've never seen before. Next to the beds on the opposite side of the nightstand is a little shelf to place your phone and bottle of water. Check out my pics if you're unclear what I mean. We will definitely be back again.

The Hyatt regency Irvine was a great place just to hang out. Though the location is close to everything in Irvine and near Corona Del Mar. the lounge is fantastic, though you have to make an appointment to get in which is a little odd, though a testament to their popularity. Service is great and the rooms are spacious and nice.

Great property. Parking is expensive with car chargers in valet part of the lot. Small dining area with great bar that has a wonderful patio. Great staff. Coffee shop on 1st floor. Nice small gym on 2nd floor (i believe). Room was great with comfy bed. Shower was average. Outside pool.

Some treats were left in our room and the sweetest hand written note from the front desk. Shout out to Makala!

We recently stayed here for my daughter's 4th bday. They have a nice pool area with two small slides for toddlers to enjoy, the pool is heated especially during this cold random weather. The market inside and the regency club lounge has decent food for decent pricing. The only thing I did not like was the food and bar prices at the pool area, I mean $19 for a canned wine and then $17 for 2 small boxes of stale waffle fries. Just go to McDonald's or something and get ur food if ur starving by the pool. The service I will say was great tho! From the valet ($47 a night compared to $41 self parking) to all the people at the front desk being super efficient and patient and friendly, we would stay again! It isn't super close to Disneyland (with traffic took still about 20-30 min), but there is alot of nice places around the area to eat and shop around. Shoutout to Makala from the front desk who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great!!!

We had an overnight stay at the hotel when meeting friends in OC. We chose this hotel due to its location being close to John Wayne airport and 405 freeway. It seems the hotel just went through renovations, lobby and restaurant areas look fully remodeled. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly, and we were able to check in right away. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel has a large pool and jacuzzi area. Unfortunately, we were not able to use it due to the cold weather. One extra bonus about the hotel: this is one of the few Hyatt in California that still offer Regency Club dinning. The restaurant was clean, with very good culinary and dessert selections. The restaurant staff was also top notch. The room was quiet, and we had a very restful night of sleep. Highly recommended.

Great stay at this new hotel! Property is two years old and the layout was designed well. Self parking was $41 per night with in and out privileges. Bottled water in the room is $7 as well. There is also a convenience store next to the lobby which has drinks, wine, beer, snacks etc. Gym and pool are on the second floor, all in all very nice stay

100% a hidden gem. Go now because it's going to get more expensive in the future. Everything is brand new. The vibe of hotel is so cool. The music around the hotel is so dope. You don't feel like you're in Irvine the second you step inside the hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful. The pool is amazing. Great bar. Great vibes. Thank you for starting the 6pm movie exactly at 6pm. That was a big deal to me for some reason lol We will be back!

The check in was easy. The elevator was very nice some have views to look at outside. Our room was spacious. We had a balcony and it was facing the pool. You can watch what is playing on the screen. We were there for new years and the view from our balcony was great to view the fireworks. We would love to book a stay here again.

    Water slides!

We had a lovely staycation at this hotel. Had a few mishaps but the managers were able to smooth things over. We repeatedly tried to order room service and were told they didn't do room service. Well after a day at the hotel we THANKFULLY ran into Andrei who works at the market place and he explained the way the hotel works which is basically scanning QR codes to order everything including room service! We called multiple times to the front desk and they should've told us all of this information!!! since we met him, our stay couldn't have gone better! We were able to order whatever we wanted to our room and poolside! Makes it a lot easier with kids!! Loved the water slides and pool bartender too!

This review is long overdue, but this hotel was great all around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They had staff outside as you pull up and inside at the check-in desk, all very welcoming and patient. The room was really nice, with a modern ambiance, and very clean. There was a big cafe/store downstairs which had a lot of options for hot food, coffee, and snacks. There were a lot of seating options on the first floor as well. If you are visiting Irvine I definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel located nearby the 405 freeway in the middle of a business park around absolutely nothing to do. Modern renovated rooms extremely clean Keurig machine and refrigerator in rooms. Great gym and nice pool.

I decided a few days prior, I wanted to stay an extra night. They were able to message me and informed me I could book another reservation for the additional night and they would make sure I stayed in the same room without having to check out, which they did. Upon check in, you enter the lobby which has a large variety of seating and a bar. They do have a happy hour menu which I thought was great. They do also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning. It looked pretty popular by the amount of guests that would pop in for breakfast. The room itself was clean, spacious and I loved the whole kitchenette. They have a a small gym that is available 24 hours, and a pool. Parking is $28 per night, but given that you are literally central to everything, I didnt mind it at all. Usually in the mornings you hear vacuums going and the commotion of room cleaning going on, which can make it hard to sleep. I didnt hear a thing! I also love that you need your room key to enter the main entrance at night. Just a bonus security feature. Everything about my stay was great. I would most definitely come back!

The only thing I didn't like about this hotel, and I've seen this with some of the other newer Hyatt House and Hyatt Place locations, they do NOT have in room safes. Breakfast was great. We saw a lot of people getting upset because they showed up at 9:30am and breakfast was closed; they clearly tell you the times at check-in, so people need to chill. Great complimentary food and coffee.

There were pricier locations closer to where I needed to meet, but this Doubletree was close enough to be a short drive, affordable for my budget, and extremely high-class for a "mid-range" hotel. I did have to navigate even the short trip to and from the venue each day, but this is a reflection on Irvine's layout, not the hotel, which was fairly easy to find even in the dark. The parking lot seemed secure and well-lit, there were plenty of luggage carts, and the staff was amazing at all hours! I also appreciated their wide stairwells at the end of each hallway (elevators are smooth and centrally located, but I prefer the stairs when I'm empty-handed) and their spacious, well-appointed exercise room, which is open 24-hours to a room keycard. While I didn't get the name of the helpful clerk at the Blend Café Market (24-hour food, drink, and accoutrement shopping in the lobby), I did note Gilbert, my server at the in-house restaurant, who prepared my order with care and panache, and whose curiosity about my stay and my reason for traveling here began as reserved politeness, but warmed gently into friendly conversation when I opened that door for a minute. The giant breakfast burrito and fruit juice I ordered were terrific, and Gilbert made my morning stop a welcome experience, and not just a meal. Even more helpful was Denise at the front desk. Denise answered a slew of questions for me on the night I checked in (it was my first time at this Doubletree and in Irvine), and she made me feel like a longtime guest returning "home" after renovations, and not a first-time visitor who hadn't traveled anywhere for business in a while. I had more questions (and already a few compliments) the next night, and I sought her out again after her extraordinary service upon arrival. She was, if anything, even more helpful that time, and I requested her name to include in this review, as well as thanking her personally for all she did for me during my stay. Denise is an absolute treasure, and I hope the Doubletree management recognizes her the way she makes every guest feel seen, heard, and valued, too. In short, this was a wonderful experience, and I will certainly stay here the next time I come to Irvine for any reason!

It would seem most of the customers who stay here are business folks, who seem generally quiet, but it's the families that are traveling (for vacation or sports) that are hella loud and will keep you up at night. The location is convenient as far as proximity goes, but the immediate surrounding area is not the greatest for views. You are surrounded by all these industrious/chemical companies (Lubrication Scientifics is across the street, I think I saw Mitsubishi Chemical Group down the road too). You really don't get that beautiful Irvine/OC view from this place. You do feel like you're in Fresno or Bakersfield, or that area in Fremont, CA near the Tesla Factory. These rooms are suites with a kitchenette, it's not as spacious as Homewood Suites by Hilton but it's decently sized. The complimentary breakfast has been one of the better ones I've experienced at a regular hotel. They make fresh eggs to order which is wonderful (I've found most regular hotels generally don't and have scrambled eggs or premade omelettes), as well as fresh pancakes too. They have juices, coffees, and a self serve espresso machine (which was broken like 70% of my visit though it's not a great machine it starts breaking after like the 5th consecutive drink made from what I saw). The location, albeit not a looker, is very convenient traveling-wise. John Wayne is just down the street, so is Diamond Jamboree and Tustin District. The staff was pretty good, generally no complaints. I couldn't get an early check in but that was not their fault and more about just the timing and how booked they were which is understandable. You can check in your bags in the meantime. Would I stay again? Only if I could be guaranteed I wouldn't have noisy neighbors. They ought to really relook at the sound dampening of the building. Not that it's an easy task to do, but it really did lower my experience here. The walls and ceilings seem pretty hollow, I could hear so much.
