This is a nice Marriott conveniently located less than a mile from the Irvine Spectrum mall. They have a shuttle if you don't want to walk. The pool area is great for kids. They have a rooftop lounge with a full bar. The lobby is really spacious and pretty. The gym is on the 2nd floor and you need a room key to get in.

Marriott Irvine Spectrum is easily one of the best hotel experiences in Orange County if you know what you're booking. From the second you walk in, the place feels elevated. Clean, modern, and designed with intention -- not your typical Marriott. The entire property has that upscale, resort-style energy while still being in a prime business and shopping location. The rooftop bar (Hive & Honey) is a major highlight. Panoramic views of Irvine, great atmosphere, and the perfect spot to end the night. It's one of those features that takes the hotel from good to unforgettable. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well put together. Comfortable beds, great lighting, and large windows that give you that full city view. Everything feels updated and high quality. The pool area is another standout -- cabanas, lounge areas, and a setup that actually feels like a resort, not just a basic hotel pool. Location is perfect. You're right next to Irvine Spectrum Center, so you've got restaurants, shopping, and entertainment all within minutes. Staff across the board was professional, friendly, and efficient. Everything ran smooth -- no issues, no delays, no headaches. Bottom line: this place blends business, lifestyle, and resort energy better than most hotels in the area. Whether you're here for work or a getaway, it delivers. 10/10 -- would absolutely stay here again.

We came here to enjoy the bar and the ambiance. This hotel is centrally located and the bar here is open, has a patio, and plenty of space in the lobby. The food that was catered was fantastic, but the real shining stars were the Marriott members that provided exceptional hospitality. Mr. Gordon Fishmann runs a great crew and the bartenders, Bryan and Kory are fast, attentive, and super friendly. If you need to kill some time or want to watch a game, I'd recommend popping in!

Came for the yelp event! Thank you Dia! We had a wonderful time at this sports event!

Great experience. Met lots of great people and had fun mingling with new friends. Food and drinks were great too!

This hotel is not the best Marriott I have visited. It has a nice view and amenities but lacks a lot of other things. There was no bathrobe, tooth brush, tooth paste. The tv was not working like other hotels and I wasn't able to connect the audio to my blue tooth. It definitely needs more upgrade. The shower is nice and the shampoos are okay quality. There was no spa center and the jacuzzi/pool were closed for construction. The kitchen offered nice food however only one servant is available and can be seen running around so fast from one table to another. They need to help the servants and add more people. The valet is nice in that they are courteous and help with opening the doors and moving the luggage.

Thank you to the team, we stayed on 4/27 for 1 night for my husbands birthday. We have stayed here before but this visit was truly memorable, first Hanna had welcomed us days prior and asked about our upcoming stay, the tall gentleman that checked us in (i am sorry i didnt get his name) was friendly and polite, and Jada was a ray of sunshine when she stopped by our room! You guys had made this stay so pleasant! Bed was so comfy, ac worked perfectly fine. We'll be back again!

We stayed at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum with our kids and really enjoyed many parts of our visit. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern, and it has a lot of thoughtful touches for families. Our kids loved riding the toy cars in the lobby, the infinity edge pool was a highlight, and the ice cream at the coffee shop and lobby downstairs quickly became a daily treat. The location near the Spectrum Center is also super convenient for meals and entertainment. That said, we did have a disappointing experience at the pool. During one of our visits, 2 individuals were openly taking provocative photos of themselves for OnlyFans (their words) in full view of families and children. They also referred to their body parts using crude terms in front of children playing on the pool steps. Several guests -- ourselves included -- voiced concerns to hotel staff, but nothing was done to address the situation, which was upsetting given the number of kids present. We felt the hotel should have stepped in to maintain a more appropriate family-friendly environment. Had it been a man taking these photos the police would have been called for indecent exposure around minors. It's unfortunate because so much of our stay was wonderful, but that experience definitely impacted how comfortable we felt as parents. We hope the hotel takes more care in enforcing respectful behavior in shared spaces in the future.

The full size beds are horrible, my vanity sink doesn't drain, my ground fault circuit interrupter in the bathroom, continuously resets, just with a phone charger plugged into it. I asked for a room with a different Bed configuration and they have none and the guy at the front deskis rude. At 5:30 AM. On Saturday, August 23.

Beautiful hotel in Irvine.. the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. I had an amazing experience and time staying here. Staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Love the free shuttle to and from the Irvine Spectrum Mall. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Comfortable beds, restaurant on site.

    - overpriced in my opinion but ok if you don't mind that. I personally like value over everything else in a hotel, and I like it when staff are friendly, nice and welcoming regardless of your tier status or any other status. I had issues checking in that were mildly annoying, but I appreciated their early checkin and late checkout options. I didn't get the friendliest welcome from the person that checked me in, but the manager was professional and helpful. - infinity pool is not real infinity pool, rather has concrete edge - outside dining area small and far from pool, could have better ambiance - you have to pay or be platinum and above to access the M lounge with free breakfast - valet expensive $49 a night, and it was especially slow considering how many people they had working. It also was annoying when I could see the courtyard parking across the way and there was ample parking there. It was doubly annoying when I could see my car from the lobby but it took so long to get my key and car - room is nice and as expected with Marriott. Large windows. Quiet and I slept well. - I wish I had checked out the gym, it looked nice!

I decided a few days prior, I wanted to stay an extra night. They were able to message me and informed me I could book another reservation for the additional night and they would make sure I stayed in the same room without having to check out, which they did. Upon check in, you enter the lobby which has a large variety of seating and a bar. They do have a happy hour menu which I thought was great. They do also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning. It looked pretty popular by the amount of guests that would pop in for breakfast. The room itself was clean, spacious and I loved the whole kitchenette. They have a a small gym that is available 24 hours, and a pool. Parking is $28 per night, but given that you are literally central to everything, I didnt mind it at all. Usually in the mornings you hear vacuums going and the commotion of room cleaning going on, which can make it hard to sleep. I didnt hear a thing! I also love that you need your room key to enter the main entrance at night. Just a bonus security feature. Everything about my stay was great. I would most definitely come back!

There were pricier locations closer to where I needed to meet, but this Doubletree was close enough to be a short drive, affordable for my budget, and extremely high-class for a "mid-range" hotel. I did have to navigate even the short trip to and from the venue each day, but this is a reflection on Irvine's layout, not the hotel, which was fairly easy to find even in the dark. The parking lot seemed secure and well-lit, there were plenty of luggage carts, and the staff was amazing at all hours! I also appreciated their wide stairwells at the end of each hallway (elevators are smooth and centrally located, but I prefer the stairs when I'm empty-handed) and their spacious, well-appointed exercise room, which is open 24-hours to a room keycard. While I didn't get the name of the helpful clerk at the Blend Café Market (24-hour food, drink, and accoutrement shopping in the lobby), I did note Gilbert, my server at the in-house restaurant, who prepared my order with care and panache, and whose curiosity about my stay and my reason for traveling here began as reserved politeness, but warmed gently into friendly conversation when I opened that door for a minute. The giant breakfast burrito and fruit juice I ordered were terrific, and Gilbert made my morning stop a welcome experience, and not just a meal. Even more helpful was Denise at the front desk. Denise answered a slew of questions for me on the night I checked in (it was my first time at this Doubletree and in Irvine), and she made me feel like a longtime guest returning "home" after renovations, and not a first-time visitor who hadn't traveled anywhere for business in a while. I had more questions (and already a few compliments) the next night, and I sought her out again after her extraordinary service upon arrival. She was, if anything, even more helpful that time, and I requested her name to include in this review, as well as thanking her personally for all she did for me during my stay. Denise is an absolute treasure, and I hope the Doubletree management recognizes her the way she makes every guest feel seen, heard, and valued, too. In short, this was a wonderful experience, and I will certainly stay here the next time I come to Irvine for any reason!

It would seem most of the customers who stay here are business folks, who seem generally quiet, but it's the families that are traveling (for vacation or sports) that are hella loud and will keep you up at night. The location is convenient as far as proximity goes, but the immediate surrounding area is not the greatest for views. You are surrounded by all these industrious/chemical companies (Lubrication Scientifics is across the street, I think I saw Mitsubishi Chemical Group down the road too). You really don't get that beautiful Irvine/OC view from this place. You do feel like you're in Fresno or Bakersfield, or that area in Fremont, CA near the Tesla Factory. These rooms are suites with a kitchenette, it's not as spacious as Homewood Suites by Hilton but it's decently sized. The complimentary breakfast has been one of the better ones I've experienced at a regular hotel. They make fresh eggs to order which is wonderful (I've found most regular hotels generally don't and have scrambled eggs or premade omelettes), as well as fresh pancakes too. They have juices, coffees, and a self serve espresso machine (which was broken like 70% of my visit though it's not a great machine it starts breaking after like the 5th consecutive drink made from what I saw). The location, albeit not a looker, is very convenient traveling-wise. John Wayne is just down the street, so is Diamond Jamboree and Tustin District. The staff was pretty good, generally no complaints. I couldn't get an early check in but that was not their fault and more about just the timing and how booked they were which is understandable. You can check in your bags in the meantime. Would I stay again? Only if I could be guaranteed I wouldn't have noisy neighbors. They ought to really relook at the sound dampening of the building. Not that it's an easy task to do, but it really did lower my experience here. The walls and ceilings seem pretty hollow, I could hear so much.
