It's clean and the employees are very nice. The rooms are basic. The standard accessible room was nice; however, I felt that it was not comfortable. The sink is outside the bathroom, has bright lights. I get up early, but my daughter sleeps late. The noise of running water and the bright lights make it nearly impossible not to wake her. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. However, the hotel is in grave need of a refresh and does not meet the standards I would expect for a Hyatt branded property, even a Hyatt Place. The room did not meet my standard for cleanliness and I found dark curly hairs in the sheets upon check-in. It would be a one star property but the staff made every effort to correct the situation. I'd recommend paying more and staying elsewhere for a good nights sleep read more

I have truthfully been to every hotel in this lot full of hotels. I would make this one my second pick if I can't get to the Drury Inn because this hotel at least has a bar with it though the drinks are limited. The rooms are very cozy and large. Definitely worth my money. Complimentary breakfast is featured, plenty of people come out for it. Parking isn't bad either and there's plenty to do in walking distance too like the mall, gas stations, restaurants etc. Plenty of amenities are available here read more

Yikes! I traveled to Dublin for a business trip, and it happened to be during some large golf tournament. So this hotel was one of a handful that was available. Pros: This is a hotel, so it's shelter The bed and pillows are comfortable The breakfast is free and phenomenal for free breakfast There's a heated light in the bathroom The water pressure is great Cons: The TV does not consistently function The bathroom is SO tiny There's no microwave! This hotel stinks everywhere! So weird. There was a nice big dead bug in the hallway to greet us No complimentary bottled waters (every hotel I've stayed at in the last 3 years has had complimentary bottled water so I thought this was a thing) The back door that is supposed to be key-entry-only is broken, so anyone can just walk right in The pool is not available...they haven't cleaned it, so it's a no-go read more

The rooms are okay but the bathroom is HORRENDOUS. The distance between the toilet and the door is (no joke) about 8 inches and the door to the edge of the shower is no more than about 2.5 feet. TINY and gross. The biggest issue is service. Checked in for four nights. Selected daily housekeeping on app at check in. Room Didn't get cleaned until the 3rd day - was told "we only clean on Weds. and Sat. due to labor Shortages." Ummm what!?!? They put out a bin of towels in the lobby for people to forage through at night but no shampoo, soap, coffee, etc. I contacted Hyatt to let them know we REALLY needed our room cleaned on day 3 at 8am to make sure it'd be ready when we got back later in the day. Got back FIVE and a half hours later and room was still not cleaned. They "got to ours" next - all while we were told to SIT OUTSIDE because the lobby is closed because of COVID. This place is awful. If you'd like the chance to know what that feels like, book a room at the lovely Hyatt Place Dublin. I had high expectations for this hotel because I have had nothing but amazing experiences at the location in Westlake, Ohio. Let's just say that this location was McDonald's and the Westlake location was Ruth Chris Steakhouse. First and foremost, they stuck us in a handicap room. The shower and toilet share the same floor. I feel like an animal at a grooming facility. Not my idea of comfort...considering I am not in need of anything handicap accessible. Second, the TV was absolutely horrible. Dated, grainy picture, limited channels and want to know the best part? The only two channels I cared to watch wouldn't function. Food network is frozen and HGTV makes a horrible buzzing noise. So, they send Larry the Cable Guy down to check it out....and nothing. The in room coffee was brown water flavored like coffee. The room could've definitely been cleaner. The bed felt like a bouncy house. The gym looks nothing like the website. The parking lot is one big circle with one entrance and one exit. Merry go round anyone? Hyatt Place brand is always my first choice when going on solo trips. This time, I was on my way back driving from Charlotte, NC to Chicago, IL. They were able to accommodate me with my U-haul truck as well as the car towing behind, which was great. There was a hibachi place right next door, which was very convenient for me after a long day drive. The not so great part came later. I needed to get back on my way in the morning but there were a few people partying, running, yelling, and constantly opening and closing doors on the same floor. The excessive noise did not completely stop until 3am. Well, I was just grateful that I could finally get about 5 hours sleep. The next morning during breakfast, there was a lady apparently working for the hotel walking around doing surveys from guests and logging the comments into her iPad. I told her about the disturbing night I had. I was not really expecting that they do anything for me but the lady was very kind implied that I would be at least complimented some. Nothing happened on my final bill. Although staying in this hotel was a bit random, I probably will consider other Hyatt Place first when in the area again. read more

First time I ever stayed at this brand. Got great deal on room - $77 on travel site, so gave it a try. Room comfortable, but not as plush as other brands I have stayed. Set up as 2 "rooms" with beds by window and sectional, desk, and wet bar by door. Comfortable, but few puzzling problems. Lack of plugs made choices of what to use. Had choice of 2of 3. Cpap or clock or lights??? So no lights by bed. Laptop, my phone or EBS's phone??? Mine got plugged in at wet bar, so had to get up to answer it. Annoying in the 21st century not having enough plugs. Must have driven famlies that stayed nuts or fights who get to charge stuff while using it. Lack of planning or just dumb planner!! Free breakfast was filling but more limited choices than other hotels. No waffle maker, but sausage gravy. EBS would have loved it. I had Frosted Flakes. Keeping legacy alive. read more

I generally choose a hotel that serves a hot breakfast because it saves a lot of money when traveling. This time, I booked here because it was discounted as part of a wedding. HOWEVER, there are pictures all over the place here of their breakfast, with fluffy eggs and BACON! Looks great, I thought. I head down this morning, starving, as one is when traveling, for some reason. The eggs "cage free eggs" were obviously powdered, because they were literally tiny crumbles that you'd have to scoop up with a spoon. The potato dish was an unidentifiable mess of red potatoes, tomatoes?, and maybe cheese?, all of which was literally stuck together. And there was NO BACON. Just tiny sausage links that looked like rubber logs. But I don't eat sausage, so next. There were also some pancakes which were suspiciously all the exact same size. I figured I should get one because the other starch looked awful. Tried the potato thing first, after working to get a bite pried apart from the rest (glued by some invisible cheese?). It tasted sweetened. No, not sweet potatoes; red potatoes that were sweetened. Gross. And wtf. Pancake was a microwaved sponge, like I thought. I didn't even bother trying the eggs. I left the entire plate. And now I'm hangry. Look, Hyatt folks. Hotels in this price range all pretty much look the same these days. Comfortable, forgettable rooms. Blah blah. Could you not make an effort do do a little extra by serving a decent breakfast?? It's the least expensive meal of the day, and wouldn't cost you much! Beautiful and luxurious suite for about $99 a night. Free breakfast in the morning, WiFi and self park located in an industrial area. The breakfast is not your usual fake eggs, hockey puck sausage slab. This was a presentation laced display of modern design plates and real metal cutlery. Real French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and if you want high octane, get ready because their coffee is stronger than starbucks. There are no available power outlets on the in between beds nightstand which in today's technology laced Era is a must. The bulk of the outlets are located on the desk which means you have to get up and charge your phone. The shower is small in a room with the toilet. It's well decorated and very clean looking, the lighting is ample and stylish. Large bright mirror in the bathroom area, suite also includes a couch with ottoman. Right next door is a Japanese hibachi restaurant, but get ready to pay as its higher end fare. We ordered food from a local Chinese place because we were too tired to go out after a day at the zoo. I've stayed in better and stayed in worse, so this hotel, to me, is sort of middle of the road. The room itself is functional with the essentials, but the amenities are somewhat lacking. The Direct TV signal seems prone to sporadic signal loss. The room phone to contact the front desk works 25% of the time. The wifi is unsecured and quite slow in our room. I'm sure the speed varies depending where you're located in the hotel, but prepare to be frustrated if you're used to fast internet speeds. Lastly, the bathroom in our room has no fan...not a biggie, but to in order to vent out the steam after a shower, you have to prop the bathroom door open. The most pleasant surprise was the bed. It's quite comfortable, as are the pillows. read more

Pay more to stay somewhere else. Our king bed was nice, but the sofa sleeper our daughter had to sleep on was ancient and nothing but springs. Luckily she had brought her own pillow for the car ride, because there weren't any pillows for the sofa sleeper. As soon as I pulled it out, there was a 12 inch long or longer hair on the mattress. Gross. I put the provided sheet over top for her to sleep on top of instead of underneath. The only blanket provided was as thin as could be. There was a sink outside of the toilet/shower/tub area. The toilet/shower room was tiny, barely enough room to turn around. We did have a fridge in the room and there were plenty of outlets for charging electronics. We were gone from 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, and when we got back, our room had not been cleaned. The man at the front desk said all housekeeping staff had gone home but he could bring us new towels, which were in our room when we returned from dinner. While the breakfast food in the morning was fine, the place is clearly understaffed. The tables were disgusting, uncleaned from previous guests, sticky with syrup and scattered with remnants of food, as was the floor. Trash cans and places for dirty dishes were overflowing. Pay to go down the block to Panera, away from the filth. We wouldn't choose to stay here again. read more

I travel for business a lot. This is my second time staying here. No complaints my first visit. My second visit....the first room I was in had a sweaty smell to it and the carpet was wet by the AC. I didn't complain or mention it as I was only intending to be there one night. I ended up extending my stay an extra night due to work and they did quickly handle that. However, I had to pack up & move rooms which wasn't that bad because my second room didn't have that sweaty smell to it. That smell seemed like it was stuck in every fabric surface in that room. My complaint comes from the nailing or tapping in the room above mine that started at 930am. I told the front desk and he said he would tell management but he seemed like he could care less. It's been going on for an hour now and is one of the most obnoxious noises!! I often work long hours on the road so I want to be able to sleep until I please and wake up and be able to do some work in my room but this noise is so distracting and grating. I've seen no signs posted in the hotel or on their site about any construction which this would've determined if I booked a room or not. I still don't know what's going on in the room above me. I also heard the noise louder when I went out to the elevators. read more

I'm glad my aunt picked this place out, it was great! And it was a chain hotel, so that's pretty unusual from what I usually see. The room was really a suite it was spacious with the bedroom area being partially divided from the living room/office area. It looks nicer in person than in the photos on the website. Free wi-fi! No gross polyester bedspreads. The living room area had a huge L-shaped couch and if I had time I'd kick it there a little. Gigantic flatscreen that you can plug your devices into. You can also pivot the tv between the living room area or bedroom area. The bed was SUPER comfy, I did not want to get up in the morning. The bed/sheets/blankets/pillows were high quality. The breakfast was...eh...but free. When I stayed there in June they were still working on a remodel of the place, so there was construction in the lobby. They did mess up when I first got my room and assigned the same room to someone else. I'd only been in the room 5 minutes and someone else's keycard unlocked the lock! They do have a physical lock you can throw that's not hooked up to the keycard that would keep anyone else out. I had it on, no one could actually get in. However, I'd guess it was a fluke since they were doing a ton of construction around the check-in. Thought I should throw that out there. I would stay again and not worry. Totally worth the money, I think the room was around $90 total and they had a discount rate on the weekends. Crazy right? But I think it's mostly a business hotel. read more

So often people write bad reviews for questionable reasons. This is not one of those occasions. My family and I had driven over 3hrs to stay upon arrival we were told we had no room. We had a reservation and they had over booked and choose us randomly to have our reservation cancelled. I am a Hilton honors silver member and still was cancelled. They seemed to care little as they checked In No less than 6 people after telling myself, wife and 11 years old daughter we had no where to stay. All other hotels in Columbus we're sold out due to the Arnold Classic in which my daughter was scheduled to compete the next day. The lack of regard for us as customers was disappointing to say the least. I am thoroughly disappointed. It shows a real lack in management at this facility. They did finally find a room at a lesser establishment. It wasn't near the standard we were expecting. read more

I have stayed in many Hyatt Places and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Walked into the room (second floor) and saw stained carpet and couches. Room had a musty smell as well. Pulled down the blankets on one of the beds and found mud/dirt on the sheets as well as a USED napkin laying on the sheets. There is no excuse for this and would never stay here again. Was able to get the room changed after the receptionist came up and saw the mess but the hotel staff obviously does not change the sheets after guests. read more

I've stayed in many, many hotels in my day, but to my surprise, this was one of the nicest. I've stayed in $400/night rooms a few times and this exceeded my expectations. On a random night, my husband and I decided to Priceline a hotel in town just to not stay at home. We booked this place on a bid for like $53. The staff was super friendly, bed was comfy, room was really clean and still looked new. There was a couch and kitchenette which I always appreciate. Ample parking that is free. And there are a lot of food and shopping options within walking distance to the hotel. Because of our experience at this Hyatt Place, I'd be willing to stay at another in the future. read more

This was our second time visiting the area for a little weekend getaway. It is a very nice area with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, plus downtown is only a 20 drive away. My hubby and I love the area! The hotel smelled and appeared clean from the moment we walked in. The lobby/check-in/bar/breakfast area is all sort of merged together and a little confusing. But we were greeted warmly and checked in. She even asked us which floor we prefer- we asked her for the best in her opinion. She said she gave us a room on the fourth, because it's typically quiet, away from the highway and elevator. We get in the elevator and find our room with ease. It's two doors down from the elevator so we were curious on if it would be quiet. Our room looked and smelled clean. There is a mini fridge but no microwave. There is also a coffee maker similar to a Keurig. We were surprised at how big of a sofa (a sectional) was in the room. The bathroom was incredibly small- good thing we didn't require needing to shut the bathroom door for any privacy, haha. The bed was too soft/worn on the right side and too hard on the left side. It made for a very uncomfortable sleep. There were only four pillows on the bed, which was not enough for a king sized bed (we did call down to the front desk and request additional ones). Luckily the sofa was very comfortable, and we ended up having pizza delivered to the room and watched our Buckeyes play in the pouring rain. In the evening- with the TV off, we could hear the elevator every time the doors opened or closed. We could hear people in the rooms near us and when in the hallway. The walls seem to be pretty thin. The hotel offers a small bar, prices seemed comparable to a local restaurant ($5-$10 for one drink). They also offer "room service", you call and order, they prepare the food, but then you go downstairs to pick it up at the front desk. A bit strange but it's a nice option to have. We didn't try the food or the bar. They also do not offer a typical vending machine, but instead have a "cafe" at the front desk with pre-made sandwiches, wraps, sodas, juice, etc. The price for a soda was $2.59 before tax! I declined and we drove down the street to Walmart and bought some gallons of water and a couple 2-liters of soda for close to the same price they were asking for one 20-ounce. The complimentary breakfast is nothing to write home about. The "breakfast" sausage was more like mini kielbasa and did not taste right with French toast and eggs. The yogurt and cottage cheese appeared runny both mornings we ate breakfast there. We weren't too satisfied either time we ate there. The hotel offers an outdoor only pool. No hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. We visited the pool on Sunday evening and it was FILTHY. We assume from the storm the day before but it appeared to have not been cleaned in a few days. They were out of towels, there was a busted table top, debris was everywhere and the pool was pretty nasty with dirt and debris as well. It was a disappointment to say the least. The hotel also offers a workout room, it appeared nice but we didn't go Honestly, we probably will not stay here again. We have stayed at the Drury Inn across the street and had a MUCH better experience all around (please see my review there). read more

As much as I like this hotel, I have to downgrade a star. My coworkers and I had a late flight into Ohio and we didn't arrive to the hotel until 10:30pm or so. Upon arrival, my boss was told they didn't even have a reservation under his name. I was told they had my reservation, but they didn't have a room for me. Um, what? I was tired, grumpy, and hungry. NOT a good time for this to happen. Apparently they overbooked and we were told to head to the Marriot down the street. I was comped a room at the Marriott which was nice, but this experience definitely changes my view on Hyatt Place. read more

Although the hotel isn't located in downtown, Dublin provides many amenities. The hotel is very clean and my biggest complaint lies with the size of the bathroom. When you open the door, it literary takes up the entire bathroom. I can appreciate having a separate toilet and tub, but the size it just very small. The rest of the room on the other end, is very nice. You have plenty of room around the sink, as well as a small closet. The TV is rather large (42" I think) and is placed so some can relax on the couch and others can relax in bed. Plenty of walking room in the middle and a nice area for the office and a separate sink for drinks and a fridge. This hotel room is designed differently than most I have stayed in, electing to remove the often uneeded drawers and freeing up some space. If it wasn't for the bathroom, I would give it four stars. Free Wifi too, although there were some issues getting logged on by myself and another guest. read more

My wife and I randomly received a free 1 night stay here through our credit card. I don't really know why they chose us but it was nice nonetheless. The hotel is easy to find as it's visible from 270. We arrived around 10 pm and we checked in with ease. They gave us a free non-alcoholic drink at check-in. The room is very spacious with a 42" flat screen in the middle. It pivots in either the direction of the bed or the couch. The bed is quite comfortable and I absolutely loved the pillows. The bathroom was quite small especially when the door is open. I had problems with the shower as the water temperature changed drastically from cold to hot several times during my shower. However, my wife didn't have that problem. Sleeping wasn't too bad although the sounds from the highway are pretty loud. I also seemed to constantly hear doors slamming at night and in the morning. It seemed as though the walls weren't too thick. Breakfast was decent with a good selection of fruits and breads. I have never been impressed with most continental breakfasts and this wasn't much different, but it's free so I can't complain about that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, but I gave it 4 stars because of the traffic noise and the loud noise outside our room. read more

Had a nightmare of a stay, if you are a planning to stay I would personally think again. I play never stay in this hotel again. As A Hyatt reward member I have stay in a lot of hyatt hotels across the country and this was the worst experience. I initially walked into the room, everything looked ok until I went into the bathroom and saw black mold on the ceiling which led me to look around more and noticed a water stain on the ceiling above the heater/ac. Asked for another room on the same level and there was none available until the next day. The next day I checked out another room and same issue. So I said screw it and cleaned it up the best I could until I could speak to management the next day. After speaking to the manager he personally came with bleach to clean the mold up. Other issues I had experienced was ice in fridge which means that is about to go out, tv flashes which means that is about to go out as well. The carpets were entirely filthy with a lot of dust/dirt. Literally can walk around the room and your feet can be pure black. Overnight person took out trash at 2:30 in the morning making a lot of noise and banging doors. Also experienced a lot of loud talking/yelling at midnight. Found myself feeling unsafe on multiple occasions as well as sleepless night. This includes an uninvited guest walking into the open room that was connected to mine. This uninvited guest started smoking in the room as well which I could smell from under the connected doors. Turns out this guest was from another room on a different floor whom also had issues in her room. Safety is definitely not a concern for this hotel as the side doors are constantly unlocked where anyone can just walk into the property unnoticed. If you are here for business and need a good internet connection they are far from good with no care to get the issue corrected. In your room your typical connection will be about .7mbps with a max connection around 1.7mbps even with a wired connection in the room. Their business center runs at over 30mbps. This means they are limiting traffic per computer with some type of software. Found myself going to Starbucks on multiple occasions in order to get some work done that needed a better connection. Absolute horrible experience and would not recommend staying at this property even if it was the last hotel in the world. Will be looking at other hotels when I need to go back to the area. read more

Perfect stay for my husband and I. I just needed a nice room to stay for two days while I traveled for a doctors appt that was too far for me to make in one day. They totally exceeded my expectations the rooms was very nice. You walk in to a living area that has a large sectional sofa with rolling ottoman and sidetable directly infront of that is a wet bar one one side and the other has a working area with desk and area to sit computer and the wall with the 42" flat screen tv that can be turned to face bed area or living space has a plug in for dvd/or gaming system. My room was an adjoining room but I didn't use that however would be a plus if traveling with kids. The beds were so comfortable and across from that was the large vanity area with drawers and a large closet on one side and restroom across from that. The staff from check in to check out were all polite, kind and just pleasant which adds to the entire experience. The clerks to manager were all just charming. The breakfast was very good as well. Bagels, fruit, juices coffee, sandwiches, french toast, oatmeal with plenty of goodies to add in. Well rounded for anyone to pick a decent starting out point for your day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who just wants a nice hotel with kind people. read more

I stayed for business for a week and this hotel was recommended by my company's travel website. Listen, the people are super friendly, so I feel a bit bad about this review. This place just wan't for me. The location has a multitude of restaurants fairly close. The shower pressure was amazing. They have free parking and wi-fi for members. Otherwise, this hotel was on the dumpy side. (sorry!) The shower/tub feels like they put an overlay over the existing tub, but it didn't quite fit right. Every time I stepped in the shower, it felt like the plastic overlay was going to crack. The bathroom, and the tub/shower itself, was extremely small (two bathroom tiles big-legitimately) The decor looked like it could use some TLC. Definitely DO NOT stay in room 210. There is a drainage spout from the gutters and two large A/C units directly outside the window. It rained three nights I was there. This made a huge noise of the rain hitting the A/C units and water rushing down the spout all night long. There was also a rattle (of the windows, I am guessing) whenever a large gust of wind came. The breakfast was very basic. Toast, fruit, scrambled eggs, cereal, and juice/coffee items. I would choose a different hotel in the future, as there are many within walking distance of this one. read more
