The bedrooms were small, but that did not matter to me as long as they each had their own bathroom! The queen size beds were comfortable. I found the pillows to be nice and soft. Complimentary breakfast is served in the morning: Scrambled eggs, bacon, sliced cheese, oatmeal, and of course cold cereals fruit, and yogurt. When I got to breakfast early in the morning the oatmeal was very watery. It would have been nice to be able to get some egg whites. A few of the mornings, a staff member came around with "shots" of banana smoothie. I did not have much interact with the staff but whenever I did they were polite. The rooms and common areas were clean, but the furniture and decor does look dated. This Residence Inn could use some updating. Right now it is a comfortable place to stay but with a little bit of a facelift it could be a reall nice!

I didn't expect that but very much appreciated it. The next day when I was getting coffees and a bagel, as I was trying to carry it all the lady at the kitchen offered me a tray. Again great "going the extra mile" service I didn't expect but greatly appreciated. The room was ok. It was pretty clean except for one of the blinds that had a disconcerting big yellow stain on it. The refrigerator made an awful sound periodically (every 10-15 minutes) and the toilet seat did not stay up well (a problem for males). But most frustrating was the fact that only one of the two nightstands on the sides of the bed had access to outlets or usb ports. Since my wife claimed her side first that left me to charge my phone out in the living room area instead of where I like it - right by my side. I wouldn't be hard to get some sort of portable unit for the second nightstand. If it were just me traveling it wouldn't have been a problem but with two people?! Come on Marriott - that's a relatively inexpensive fix to provide extra convenience for your customers! Lastly, my room was right by their courtyard basketball court. While it's a decent amenity for some guests, they really should disallow playing after dark. It was quite annoying hearing all the noise while I was trying to sleep.

Beware of Changing Your Reservation…read more I booked this hotel at a discounted rate through a company event and later needed to reduce my stay from two nights to one. Instead of simply updating the reservation, the hotel treated it as a new booking and nearly doubled the nightly rate. Customer service was unhelpful and repeatedly stated that any change creates a new reservation with current pricing. If you're booking under a special event or corporate rate, be absolutely certain of your dates before booking. A simple change could end up costing you far more than expected. Very disappointing experience.

I was in town for two meetings in the Dublin area and I selected the TownePlace Suites as the hotel opened in 2021. They accommodated me for an early check-in, but I didn't feel like my Bonvoy status was recognized. No upgraded room was offered. This hotel has an awesome workout room, plus an indoor pool and laundry. Not sure why a room with two Queen beds is priced less than a single King, but that's what I selected. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I just wished the pillows were firmer. My room had a glass shower, but I don't understand why the glass covers only half the shower. Inevitably you're spraying water out onto the floor. I was also surprised how noisy the room can be when someone is walking on the floor above your room. Like the Residence Inn, they had a complete breakfast buffet and the personal pancake maker. The Dublin property was a great stay.

I had a DISGUSTING and potentially HAZARDOUS HEALTH experience at TownePlace Suites in Dublin. My…read moreson and I booked a stay there from July 12-15. We returned to our room Monday July 14th at approximately 9:30 pm. Like the day prior it appeared no one cleaned the room. I went into the restroom to prepare for bed and noticed an item on the bathroom sink. The item was a used BLOODY TAMPON stuck inside the wrapper of the new tampon. I'm assuming it was left there by the cleaning staff that entered my room but didn't clean it. The hotel front desk was notified and I requested he come to the room. He did so and we went to the front desk to resolve the issue. Not once did he offer a new room and when we asked who was going to clean / sanitize the bathroom, the attendant stated it was NOT HIS JOB!!! He also said, the cleaning staff would not be in until the following morning. I requested he give me the GM's number so I could call him. The attendant refused to provide the number so I requested he call the GM to resolve the issue in which he promptly refused. My son got justifiably upset and the attendant threatened to CALL THE POLICE and THROW US OUT of the hotel. I called Marriott and filed a complaint. Marriott asked for the attendant's name which he failed to provide and was not wearing a name tag. Finally, I demanded a new room which they provided but at the expense of a good night's sleep. Tuesday morning, Paul the GM said, he would contact me by Wednesday evening, this would give them time to investigate the incident and stated we'll make it right. It's been a week and I have not been contacted by Paul or Marriott. Paul appears to have been trained by Salma the former GM. Read the other reviews (Francis B. Mar 2, 2022) that talk about cleanliness and how they were treated by hotel staff, they push back. Nothing has changed at this property. To add insult to injury they comped a friend staying there that I called to witness the item in my room and the behavior of the front desk attendant. I would have rated the hotel even lower if it was an option. Extremely disappointed in Marriott.

There were some notable hiccups, including an elevator that didn't work (thankfully there was a second elevator bank on the opposite side of the building that they did not tell me about initially. I also was charged for dining at the restaurant despite the fact that I did not actually do this; thankfully they removed the charge without a huge hassle. The room itself served fine and I got decent sleep. The hotel poo;l was one of the busier ones I've ever seen. They did have a small 24/7 marketplace for people needing a snack or an essential in a hurry.
