The jerk who is the pharmacist at this store, who talked to me like I wasn't worth the sh!t on his shoe, told me my pain patch prescription was WRONG because those patches last "3 days". Hey, a$$hole! They do NOT last 3 days. They last 2 days and some change at best. So I tried to do what he said. I had my doc change my prescription, and I have gone into withdrawal every time I have had to change patches this month. They don't last 3 days. They just don't. But this pharmacist doesn't know that for two reasons: he isn't a doctor and he has never had to use opioids to control horrible, wretched, never-ending pain before. So he can take his opinion and shove it where the sun don't shine, as far as I'm concerned. I will NEVER go back to that Hy-Vee for ANY reason ever again. read more

This spring I bought a small hanging basket of pink geranium. Cost only $10. They bloomed all summer long. Such a healthy plant. Sometimes I had to make sure I didn't buy a plastic plant because it was never without a bloom. Best $10 I ever spent. ​ read more

2 of the last 3 deliveries have been more than disappointing. Missing HALF an order, (other half delivered 45 mins later) substitutes not even close to what was ordered, ie honey BBQ sauce substitute for garlic parmesan, packaged produce was slimey with expiration date within 48 hours of delivery. Order was placed in plastic bags when paper was kindly requested. Questioned delivery gal on that "yeah saw that after I put the order together." Going back to Super Saver/Aldi. Saving no time and paying for poor quality and useless items in my meal prep business. read more

I spend many days at this Hy-Vee utilizing the post office feature at the customer service counter. The experience is one I have come to look forward to because of the amazing service I receive there each time. In particular, Payton has been a shining light of joy to see. Honestly, she just cracks me up. And, she is like the fastest most multi-taskiest service-with-a-smile I've ever seen. She will never know how many days seeing her there lifted me up or how many days she got me in and out when I was in a hurry. I hope maybe one of her supervisors sees this - you probably already know - but this girl is a gem. I've been to other Hy-Vee post office locations and it was NOT anything like the service I get here. I also love everything else about this Hy-Vee location. Lincoln has a face mask mandate, and HyVee has signs everywhere, including a big sandwich board out front requiring that all people wear masks. I don't think the employees got the memo, as for the last year and half, when we go in there in the early evening hours, roughly 1/3 of all staff members are either not wearing masks at all, or have them below their noses. It's intentionally distressing to those of us that have to wear masks for health reasons. So... I'm going to be looking elsewhere after going to this location for over a decade. From the trip last night, Eli J, the checkout person, and the slender tall older gentleman with grey hair and a slight hunchback who is always stocking the shelves at night, I salute you. Your repetitive avoidance of the mask mandate, plus all the other staff walking around half-masked, has turned me off for good. I'll find a different chain from here on out. read more

Hy-Vee Williamsburg customer service has the most patient wonderful employees. Today I watched a very professional young woman deal with a difficult customer in the most excellent manner. I only wish I remember her name. These employees are not paid enough to deal with the things they must handle and the pointless treatment they receive from anti-maskers complaining about made up offenses to their fragile egos. It maybe a Lincoln thing but I don't think I'm in the minority when I say hyvee Chinese is actually really really good and a great deal. They have family packs and about 8 different entree choices, something for everyone. It may not be the fanciest but it definitely will fill that craving. They have prepackaged portion for late night when the fresh stuff is closed down. read more

This is my first time at this location. That's my disclaimer. The only redeeming experience at this Hy-Vee was the food. I came here on lunch, and wanted the salad bar. I don't recommend the salad bar. I prefer the 50/50 mix (lettuce/spinach), but this location only serves lettuce... completely iceberg lettuce. That turned me off. When I approached a male associate (Hy-Vee employee) at the hot case, I wanted to ask him about using a To Go container for a Stay meal because the posted sign. He hummed and ha-ed, walked over to the salad bar and quoted me the price of a single pass or buffet, which was clearly posted on a few signs and did not address my question. I gave up trying, and went to the Asian side, which I think Hy-Vee should change from "Chinese." Redemption. I ordered one plate of heaping white, steamed rice (that's more like Uncle Ben's) and their Pineapple Chicken. The Asian meal was definitely worth it. Also, the service was much better at that counter, as well. I've noticed that more often than not Asian people working at Hy-Vee are relegated to the "Chinese" food counter. Fail. When choosing a seat, the dozen or so occupied tables were reinforced with dirty plates and dirty tables abound, leaving less than half of the seating area available. If there's a few crumbs, it's easy enough to wipe off and sit down. I'm not that OCD. But, smeared things on tables requires a little more attention. A few employees walked past the seating area, looked at the messy tables, and kept walking. When I started eating, it took six or seven attempts to connect to their WiFi. During my meal, I had to reconnect four times. I had wanted to write a paper for class, which also required some sources online. In summary, I did not have a good experience at this location. I'm definitely not happy with the service. It looks nice from the outside, it's a decent neighborhood, but I won't be returning. read more

The Sunday and Wednesday ad usually has a few bargains like $2 Milk, or 99 cent Eggs, or 1.99 a lb strawberry etc. The Bad: Price. I have made a little study of the prices at area grocery stores including Super Target, Walmart, and Super Saver. Hyvee is by far the most expensive on most everything. 20-50% highet usually. Here are some recent examples of on-sale items: 1lb Driscoll Strawberry. Hyvee: $4.99, SuperSaver: $3.98 Super Target: $2.99. Blueberry Nutragrain Bar 8 count: HyVee: $3.99, Super Saver: $3.29 Target: $2.69 Walmart: $2.54. Dozen eggs: HyVee: $2.29 Super Saver $1.98 $ Target $1.79 Walmart $1.69. Hebrew National Hot Dogs. HyVee $5.99 Super Target $3.99 Walmart: $3.99. 45 oz Container of I can't believe it's not butter: HyVee $7.49, Target $5.99. Walmart $5.98. 85/15 ground beef: Hyvee $5.99 a lb. Everyone else $4.50-4.99 lb. You get the idea. Same stuff can be marked up significantly at HyVee. Until they reign in their pricing to be more competitive with other stores I will only shop the sales, which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. read more

Hy-Vee has great customer service and quality selection. I particularly enjoy their meat and deli department because the quality and prices are really great. If you are looking for already seasoned and prepped stuff to grill this is a great place. I feel they also pay close attention to their fruits and vegetables department as well. They recently remodeled inside , rearranged, and added a clothing section and bath & body section. I have really enjoyed the bath bomb products ( 3 for 12 of the larger ones) and highly recommend them. read more

This place is so expensive, they try to be higher end of super saver, is good food lunch and prepared foods. I usually get the 2 piece chicken dinner. I remember I forgot my wallet once and the clerk have me my lunch for free. This place might charge high prices but they have excellent customer service. read more

Excellent produce, the best in town. Great selection of wines and liquor department. Decent buffet make sure to check out the Chinese. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. This grocery store is very big and has a good selection of all the products I need. They have organic items which I'm a fan of and they have a nice liquor area off to the side of the store which has a good variety of wine/beer and spirits. I will definitely be coming back to this store when I need items for daily life. read more

Customer service/postal desk. I have visited the postal station here several times due to its convenience. Generally, the service is ok, but the workers seem to do the minimum work possible. The last time I was here, I needed to mail books and purchase envelopes. I asked for envelopes, and I received priority mail envelopes, but was not told that it cost about three times as much to use those instead of normal envelopes until it was too late. Also, the lady who was helping me told me I wrote on the wrong side of the envelope, and I told her it was confusing (both sides of the envelope looked like the side to write on), and she just replied "What's so confusing about that?" Very rude. I will avoid using this Hy-Vee in the future, as there seems to be no "helpful smile" at the customer service desk, where it is probably the most important. read more

This review is for the one on stacy lane and 70th. While their produce is usually stocked and fresh, the workers here are rude, most of the managers are unhelpful. The checkers are unprofessional, always busy talking to one another instead of packing the groceries right or even bother greeting you. One of the checkers dropped my chips and crushed them and didn't even apologize or asked if I needed a different bag. One thing that I noticed is the checker at the food dept checkout is always missing, and even when they acknowledge that they have customers they continue to ignore them for a few extra minutes resulting in constant calling from their coworkers. A friend who works at this hyvee told me that this Hyvee's bakery is unsanitary and uses expired milk. I used to like this Hyvee but I think I'll just go to the one on O st from now on. read more

The ambiance is what it is...it's a grocery store cafe. It's value-oriented with good portions. It's not granite city buffet, but it's good enough for what we wanted. It's short order at its best, but not for everyone. read more
