The guy was super professional, and knowledgeable. I ended buying their very expensive "maintenance" liquid mix and it works great. The whole thing came to $700 which was shocking to me. I knew my ins co would pay for it as it was related to the fire incident and not having had water running through the pipes for a long time. If I had been responsible for the invoice, I would've freaked out. That's why I knocked off a star. So yes, they are good, reliable and guarantee their work (the guy came back a week later to fix it again at no charge - not his fault, it was bound to happen due to the severe clogging) BUT they are super expensive. Before asking them to fix your problem, ask for an estimate.

He asked if I had shut the main water shutoff valve off, I told him I had just moved into the house and did not know where it was. He instructed me where and what to look for in my basement. I found it and shut the water. He told me he could come out that evening but if I could get through the night and wait till the next morning, I could save 50% on the labor charge since overtime rates were mandatory. They sent a tech at 8:30 the next morning and within 2 hours the piping was replaced, and he installed some insulation to prevent future freezing of the pipe section. Very professional operation. I tried them originally through their introductory furnace inspection. They came out and inspected…read morethe furnace, and said the furnace was fine but our thermostat was broken and they'd replace it for $300. I told them I would do it myself, and reinstalled the original thermostat, which worked fine. 2 months later (in December) the furnace stopped. I called them, they said they would try to get here that day. We waited all day with no response. They came the day after and said they needed to order a part, but could not tell us when it would arrive. Into the weekend, after 2 full days without heat, they said to get heat on the weekend would cost $1200, or $700 if we waited until Monday or Tuesday. We chucked them and called another company. That company said this was a common problem and should have been caught in the inspection. They could come on the weekend to do it for $1000, or do it on Monday for $500. I shouldn't have called back after the thermostat issue, but I sure won't call again, and recommend anyone else also look elsewhere

After looking through local plumbers, we called Strictly Service, and connected with Chris right away. He asked about our setup and had us text pictures of our leaky behemoth. The bad news: after 20 years, it was time to say goodbye and replace it with a new water heater. The good news: Chris could come next day, get the new one installed, and take the old one away. Chris provided a fair, all-inclusive quote, and the next morning, he showed up on time, with the new water heater ready to go. He finished the job in less than 2 hours, and we had hot water again. This time with a newer, shinier water heater. Based on our experience, we'd definitely recommend Chris for any plumbing projects for his professionalism, honesty, and punctuality.
