By 2:00 AM we were lying in bed thinking "what the heck did we just do?" If this happens to you, remember, legally, you have 3 business days to cancel a loan. We could have ended up paying 3 times higher with Landry.

Adam looked at our air conditioner and immediately identified the problem, explained it and took care of everything. He wore foot protection and cleaned up everything. I called LMT and even though the cold streak had them straight out the scheduled my a week or so out. Dennis arrived on time and gave my oil futrnace and tank the best service it has ever had. He showed me why the burner was not operating efficiently and finished with an electronic effiencey test proving the result. He took great care to leave our home clean also. A+

Thursday morning I woke up to a small flood in my basement. The sewer pipe was blocked somewhere…read morebetween my house and the street. There only two plumber/sever companies I have ever dealt with in the past and I didn't want to use either of them because of past experiences. I wasn't really sure what to do so I jumped on Yelp and found All In One Drain Cleaning. I called and got a live person, Bill, who said that someone would be coming out my way in a few hours. Blake was the person who showed up, before noon. He tried snaking the pipe with a monster snake and had no luck. He then had to send a camera down the drain to see what was up. He told me how much it would cost and my eyes rolled into the back of my head but I had no choice and had to go with it. I am really shocked at how much it costs to send a camera down the pipe for 5 minutes. Yikes! Anyway, the camera revealed that the pipe was clogged solid so that was a good call. The next step was to blast the blockage with a water jet. Because of where my drain cleanout is located in the basement, there was no way to blast it without flooding the basement. This is where his boss, Bill, stepped in and a decision was made to dig up the front yard and install a cleanout pipe connected to the main pipe. The whole job took several hours and was finished around 7PM. It cost an arm, a leg, a lamppost, and my firstborn but at last, I was able to shower and poop without worrying that the goods would end up in the basement again. I guess certain services are just very expensive. I don't have any point of reference as to the price point because I wasn't able to "shop" around, although I am also not sure I would want to anyway. Bill and Blake a couple of very hard-working guys and they know their craft. On top of that, they are very personable and bicker like an old married couple. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is dealing with serious plumbing or sewage problems.

Then, I had to have them come back as they missed a number of places in the kitchen and left crumbs, etc. I then asked for a quote for regular cleaning. Again, I was told it was by the job and they had different prices for once or twice a month. I asked for a usual cleaning (bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming and washing floors) and we agreed on the price. When the cleaner arrived, she said, "what do you want me to do?" I said, "clean the house as per your proposal." She still did not seem to be clear on what I was looking for, so I volunteered to walk the house with her. She informed me that the price included a maximum of five hours (so there is an hourly rate?). I said, okay, when you're at about 4 1/2 let me know, and I'll prioritize what's left. Someone dropped by, so they left without even speaking to me. Then, I received a bill that was higher than the quote (again). I called and asked about it, and was informed that it had been six weeks since their quote and they start their timers the minute they walk in the door. They "didn't even charge me for the walkthrough." I believe everyone deserves to earn a living, but this is ridiculous. You can't quote one price and then charge more every time you come to someone's house. It's bait and switch. They saw the house before they cleaned it. The job they did the second time seemed okay, but why are you asking me what I want done if I already had a proposal? It's bait and switch and I want to warn others about their business practices.

I was happy with their work in the beginning. However, when things started to go south with a mistake that they did with the water heater they were not willing to fix it and passed the blame to the propane provider for their mistake in installing the unit. The water heater was for an 80 year old and 75 year old and they were fine leaving them without water just because they didn't want to own their mistake. This shows that they don't care about owning their work or their customers. I will never hire them again for anything, and I hope whoever reads this review thinks twice before hiring this company.

My hot water tank was leaking so I called Reichert and Sons to come out and help. As usual, they were extremely nice when I called. I paid the service fee of $175 and someone came out the next day. The technician inspected my unit and told me that my pipping was getting old and I could replace the pipes or eventually replace the hot water tank. I asked him how much it would cost for each option and he said he would need to talk to the main office and they would send me a quote and I could decide. The next day I received a $4,000 quote to replace the hot water tank. I called to ask about the quote to just fix the pipes. The woman on the line said she would need to speak to her manager and get back to me. Two days later they sent me the same $4,000 replacement only quote with the last sentence changed to "Tank can not be repaired - replace is the only option." This is not what the technician told me. To be thorough, I called a different company who came out and told me the tank isn't that old and I should replace the pipping. He fixed the pipping for $300 and that was over 4 months ago with no problems since. I am glad I went to a different vendor because trying to cheat people out of money is a horrible way to do business. I haven't asked for my $175 service fee back because I don't want to communicate with unethical people. If you do go to Reichert & Sons, I suggest you get a second opinion.
