I drive over an hour to get look at a spartan mower. Overall the experience was great. They took the time to explain everything to me never felt pressured to buy a bigger model. I felt they were strictly giving the information I needed so that I could make an informed decision. Price was the best I found around. I added a few small upgrades at a super reasonable price. All the staff I met were very polite. The other shoppers that stopped while I was there seemed very happy with their service as well. I never thought I would come back after my purchase just because of the drive but I think I was wrong. This place is definitely a great mom and pop shop that I wish we had in my home town.

After using the bet to search for a repair center, came upon this small, independent shop. I always use "local" when I can and try to stay away from the huge, big box companies. Took this saw to them & within 15 minutes, Len had the saw repaired plus he patiently answered all my questions. When i asked what the charge was, he stated that there would be "no charge" as he also learned about my saw. This would help him should he ever encounter this item/problem again. I have a 2 lawn mowers & 1 snow blower needing repair & this "local" company WILL be getting all my business in the future. I thank the owner for hiring a great staff of people & for running a fantastic company. You have made a lifelong customer !!

Upon looking at our mower, they told us it would be best to not even go through the trouble of a diagnostic test...it simply would not be worth their time and OUR money. How freaking honest was that? You never get that anywhere else I have been. Upon realizing we needed to replace our old mower, the owner suggested buying a used one from them that they had in stock. It was the perfect replacement for us, and we felt good about purchasing from people who actually work on mowers. I am proud of this small business and I suggest anyone who has issues with mowers or snow blowers, please give them a visit. They will not try to upsale you or give you bad advice, just to make a buck. If YELP gave 10 stars, I would gladly give it to them. Keep up the great customer service, and honesty, as you have a new customer for life now!! Forget Walmart, Lowe's, and other big box stores, and support this awesome small business !!

I called R & R Lawn Mower & Snow Blower Repair to inquire about getting my snowblower fixed. The…read moreguy asked me if what brand my snowblower is and if it is the larger snowblower with the metal augers or the smaller one with the rubber paddles. I told him it is a smaller Toro with the rubber paddles. He told to bring it in. I loaded up the snowblower, drove there, unloaded it (which is not easy since I have a herniated disk) and the guy tells me that the snowblower is more than 15 years old, so he won't work on it. I told him I called and gave information regarding the snowblower and was told to bring it in. He told me I must have talked to his son who didn't ask how old the snowblower is and that he won't work on it. Then, he didn't even offer to help me load the snowblower into my truck. In the future, the owner should answer the phone so that customers are given the correct information and don't make a wasted trip to your business.

This business reminds me of the tractor supply company chain stores but on steroids. They carry a…read morelot of the same stuff that TSC does, but just more of it with wider variety. They have a very broad selection of merchandise to include clothing, hunting gear, animal, food, barbecue stuff, tools, and the list goes on and on to include live chickens and ducks! Nice! I specifically came to this store as they are the only store in the area that sells lumberjack wood pellets for barbecue smokers. These are some of the best pellets you can buy and if you are serious about how you do your barbecue, they are one of only two pellet brands I use with the other one being bear Mountain. The price was cheap in my mind, $10 for 20 lbs, with a nice selection of pellets to choose from. The only other option to get these pellets in our area is buy Internet purchase for a SIGNIFICANTLY more money! Overall, a nice country style store with a huge selection where if you are in the area, you should definitely check them out as I believe this chain is fairly new to Michigan

I was looking for paint and they had a paint section with no paint really for the house at all. Most of the store was made up of clothing for hunters, dog, products, and food. I'm not really sure what to think about it. I will say they had really good popcorn that was free. The sales associate that tracked me out was also very kind. Yes, I bought some dog bones. I won't go back though.
