Fixed a snowblower for me in a short time. Reasonable price. Good communication. Would recommend them highly.

Don's is only 5 minutes away and we bought the snowblower there so I drove up.

Not at all happy with this rental company. It was like pulling teeth to schedule the rental. I had…read moreto call back multiple times to even see if it was available on the date I needed. They then said they would call me to let me know which day it would be delivered but never did. The day before my event, I was calling and calling at noon to find out what was going on. I got shuffled from person to person because the guy who answers works for a total separate company. He then gave me some guys cell phone and that went straight to voicemail. After calling back again, it turns out they never even took down my phone number. NICE! The rental items were pretty beat up and filthy. It was actually embarrassing. And then pick up was a mess too. They couldn't tell us when they were picking up. We called them to find out because we have a trailer in our drive way that we would need to move. Never answered their phone. Never called back. But when we got home yesterday, they pulled our trailer out of the driveway without permission or without even calling to let us know what they were doing. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. A courtesy call to let us know they were coming would have been the right thing to do. We would have moved the trailer for them. It's pretty rude to touch someones things without asking.

All employees were courteous. Installers were obviously not trained and overwhelmed but shit…read morehappens. I thought my request was reasonable to be refunded the set up/delivery. The owner (Dan Martin) was my only issue. Copied FB post RANT-Even though Tyler's party turned out perfect If anyone is looking for party rentals in my area, do NOT use Magnum Rentals in Westland (and now a Plymouth location). I used them twice in the past and wasn't exactly happy the last time but decided to give them another chance. It was a cluster and I've been trying to get them to refund me for something that they never brought and also credit me the $49 set up/delivery fee all week. When I booked in February I told them it needed to be set up before 2pm because I had somewhere to be. When I called to confirm, they suggested coming a day earlier to ensure I got it early enough. I stayed home and waited for them all day, they never came. I called first thing in the morning to make sure they were coming and they said it was because of storms (makes sense) and it would be here by 2pm like the contract said. I called at 2:30pm since they weren't here and told them I had to leave by 4:30pm. They pulled in my driveway at 4:25pm and did not have the ice table I ordered (which they could've told me in my multiple conversations that they "ran out"). They needed to use Todd's sledgehammer and with a little bit of help from him still took about an hour and a half to install it (and it was drooping!). I finally just told them to leave it and he would fix it later because we had to go. They didn't even put the stakes in correctly! So, of course Todd fixed it and everything was fine but I had to call every day this week to try to get my refund (with each employee telling me the owner would call me). Finally one of them gave me his number yesterday and he is refusing to refund the set up fee. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor to get the refund for SOMETHING THEY NEVER BROUGHT, even said he could give me the confirmation number and then I checked my account and it hasn't been refunded! He also mansplained how the six month seasonal business industry works and that it was the busiest weekend of the year so basically I should be ok with sub par service because their prices are so reasonable. Oh and he'll get a 10% discount attached to my account for the next time I use them. I told him that would be pointless because I'll never use them again! Tell your friends.

The manager called me, was up front and honest. We discussed the customer service issues and they made things right with appropriate credits and what sounds like changes in their processes to avoid poor customer service to loyal Wolverine Power Systems customers. Therefore I will continue to do business with them and update this review by removing the long detail and leave it at, I had an issue and they addressed it.

When I was looking for a company to service my Kohler generator, I called Wolverine and they told…read moreme they mainly service Generac but could definitely service a Kohler unit. The price seemed reasonable, so I went with them. I've had it service a total of three times and everything seemed fine until last fall when they serviced it. The unit ran okay until we had a power outage in March and it had to run for several hours straight. After that, it completely died and wouldn't start back up. I assumed it was a warranty issue, so I called Kohler. They told me that Wolverine isn't authorized to do Kohler warranty work, so I had to find someone who was. I called Mall City Mechanical, and their guy came out the same day. He found that the oil had been heavily overfilled and a cap was completely left off. Because of that, oil ended up spraying everywhere and choked out the system. He had to drain the extra oil and clean everything up just to get it running again, which cost me $295. I've called Wolverine four times now to get this resolved and ask for a reimbursement for their mistake. Every single time I just get sent to voicemail, and nobody will call me back. If you're looking to have your Kohler generator serviced, call Mall City Mechanical.
