Was hesitant to go to this office initially because it's located in the upscale Forum shopping mall. Wound up being pleasantly surprised, though, by how friendly, honest and down-to-earth the entire office is. The staff is truly among the best beginning with the receptionists. And, since the practice does not close down during lunch, it makes it extra easy to maKe appts and to call and have questions answered promptly. Wish more doctors' offices would adapt this mode of operation because it makes everything so much more do-able for me as a patient. An added bonus is that the office is also open on Saturday. My experience with Dr Oliver Chen Is that he is a pleasure to deal with. He's patient, kind, highly knowledgeable and he trains his staff to be the same. When I first got contacts, to be honest, I was probably the worst patient ever. It took one of Dr Chen's staff over an hour to get me to learn how to put contacts in but they were great about it. Since then, there have been a few times that I've gotten contacts stuck in my eyes for a few days and needed help. Any time I've called to finally make an appt for emergency help, Dr Chen finds a way to see me as soon as possible. I've never felt rushed and receive as much help as I need. Dr Chen is very professional and thorough In terms of providing the best help when I need it. And, finally, another gem in the office is Robert, who is an expert optician. Over the years, he's spent a generous amount of time helping me to make the best eyeglass choices for my eye condition which is an astigmatism. Robert has also been accomodating in terms of make the best repairs on my glasses. He is extremely knowledgeable, reliable and helpful. Couldn't be more pleased with Dr Oliver Chen, Dr Paul Chen and the entire staff associated with this practice. Can't recommend highly enough. Continue to exceed my expectations over the course of many years and I highly recommend them all!

Dr. Chen is professional to the point of seeming robotic. He never explained things to me and just barked numbers to the technician that may as well have been a different language. He performed cataract surgery and a blepharoplasty on my upper eyelids. A few weeks after the blepharoplasty, a black dot appeared on my eyelid that swelled a little. I went to see Dr. Chen to discuss and he said it was not from the surgery but that he could remove it for $350. I declined. I had an appt with my dermatologist a few days later and brought it to her attention. After looking at it, she said it was definitely from the surgery and offered to write him a letter telling him so. I just wanted it gone, so she removed it for me and no letter was written. Dr. Chen has impressive degrees on his walls and everyone reveres him for his intelligence. But his chair side manner leaves little room for open discussion. And he didn't take responsibility for something he should have. I knew then that he was not the doctor for me. Onward and upward. PS: I was charged $25 to get my records.

Schedule your exam if your first timer! Fill out the online forms. The staff will then stay in touch with any questions or concerns you may have before your appointment. THE SERVICES: The cost of the eye exam is $98 which the eye dilation is included with this price . Now you can choose eye, dilation, or pay the retinal imaging fee of $39 which would be separate . I had to drive right after my eye exam so I did a selection of retinal Imaging. I personally thought it was really cool. It was quick, easy and no side effects after. After I got my results, I was transitioned to one of the staff members where she was professional in guiding me to pick the perfect lens's for my frames. The Associate was thorough in giving me details with pricing, insurance coverage, giving me information about blue light, crystal, anti scratch, sharp vision. A lot of great info. Helped me narrow down my options and make an educated decision. Thank you so much! not even Kaiser gave me this much information when I first got my eyes checked two years ago. I just received my prescription glasses and I absolutely love them. I can sit here and say that I'm very satisfied with the service I received along with the professionalism of the associate that work at this location in target. I arranged an eye exam with another optometrist who wrote a much different prescription and even let me compare the two prescriptions in temporary glasses. The second prescription was clearly the correct one. I now have a $500 pair of glasses that I can't use and Target Optical has refused to reimburse for the cost of glasses with the incorrect prescription. I recommend finding a more competent optometrist.

I went to get it filled and was told it was over $400 a month. The pharmacist asked if I had a coupon which of course I did not. She then went on to tell me that anyone that starts this medication is given a coupon by the Dr because of the expense. She directed me to the Allergan site where I could print off a card for a 90 day free supply and 12 months at $20 per month. I call the Morris Eye Group to express my dissatisfaction and was told that they do indeed have coupons and the Dr. must have forgot. That is a big "forgot" to a patient. Then the only thing she said was sorry we all make mistakes, REALLY! You could have thought she would ask me for my address to mail one out to me but nothing. Very disappointing.
