When I approached the ticket counter at the front, I was assisted by Ben. Ben literally had the friendliest, kindest personality ever! His customer service exceeded my expectations, and it was genuinely positive. It was refreshing to experience that, thanks to him. The movie ticket I purchased was roughly $18. Of course, the movie was entertaining and spectacular. The inside of the theater was comfortable, especially with the reclining chairs. The visuals were displayed nicely throughout the film. I will continue to come back to this cinema. It's my top choice that's conveniently located near my home (~15-minute drive).

This did happen to me once in the last six or so months I've lived here. My buddy and I had to go to Stockton for Zootopia, which had been out for months by that point. So, the only game in town means plan ahead. I've never seen it dead here before. So far. What do I know, these aren't the reviews you're looking for. Move along. Lol I do love reviewing the cinema though. Lodi 12 is usually a happening spot when I come. And it is at least competitive with other theatre chains in the area. It is part of the Santa Rosa Cinemas, a smaller family-run business that has, from what I can tell, a handful theatres in Central (and Ventura?) California. Though it's probably not much older than me, the building has a bit of a retro feel, with big lobby windows in a semi-circle and bright yellow marquee at night. I am a sucker for a retro cinema if you've read my other movie theatre reviews, but any cinema with character will be appreciated by me. The only upgrade I would prefer would be to get rid of the need to print a paper ticket, even if you buy online ahead of time. Whoever is cheaping out on a scanner for QR codes, get with it and save some trees. It would even be okay if they were old school ticket stubs for the nostalgia (I love cinema nostalgia and will go out of my way for it), at least they would look pretty in my novelty shadowbox, but nah, they're just receipt roll paper. Alas I digress; I don't like wasting time doing that when I could be in line for popcorn or taking a selfie with Heathcliff. Some auditoriums are nicer than others but I believe all have recliners and the little swivel tables that make me feel like a baby. I have not seen any evidence of wear and tear on the seats like in some of these pictures on here, eesh. They have multiple screens that utilize Dolby Atmos / Ultimate Digital Cinema surround sound, and at least one auditorium that has Real D 3D for the 3D enjoyers. As a four eyes, making myself a six eyes for the rare, usually James Cameron backed adventure is about all I care to partake of. Sound and screens are great and have been recently upgraded. I do enjoy coming here and feel the amenities are satisfactory. Snack and food selection is good, and the popcorn is fresh. They have a wine and beer kiosk as well, though we usually come after a meal and thus have not yet partaken of libations here. This cinema is in downtown Lodi, and does not have a parking lot. Street parking is usually not far away. Maybe see you later for another totally necessary screening of My Dad and His Son Baby Yoda. This is the way.

I signed my daughter up for the age 4-6 ballet class. This was our first time at dance class, for her and me, so let me preface this with that--I have no idea how a dance school should be run, but I'm pretty sure, this isn't it. There are about ten kids in this age group, but they run the class at the same time as the next age group up--that has another ten kids in it--so when you pay for that hour of class time what you're actually getting is half an hour because when they're working with the older group, your kid is sitting on the filthy floor getting her pretty pink(required uniform) ballet clothes absolutely dirty. That's twenty kids with the owner and an instructor "teaching them." I warned the owner that she is a pretty wild kid at the beginning of the first class--I mean let's be real, she's four--and it was obvious by the end of the class, she was annoyed with her. After the second class, she said that she was having trouble working with her, but that it usually takes 6 classes for them to get the hang of it. My daughter just finished her third class, and the owner kicked her out of the class saying she wasn't ready. Well...from what I can see no kid is going to be ready if it requires the owner to put forth any effort with them. She herself spends half the classes sitting down on her cell phone, but parents aren't supposed to see this because there's no watching your kids while they dance. There's no cameras or window into the room. There is a large window to the outside, but when I asked her if I could watch from there she said as long as she doesn't see me. I watched from my car for the three classes, and I saw enough. The owner put forth zero effort with trying to teach my kid anything. If you expect small children to behave like cattle, and just do as their supposed to, then this is the place for you. But if you expect more, like for your kid to have fun and to actually learn something--and to be able to JUST BE A KID--steer clear of this establishment. Needless to say, we will not be returning in August as she suggested. Complete waste of time. The only good thing I have to say is that the young instructor(can't recall her name)seemed very patient and kind with my daughter, regardless of how the owner treated her, she should be acknowledged for that. About the only good thing this place has going for them.

I spoke with Sarb, and he was very helpful. He told me they still had availability for our event, which was a relief. What impressed me the most was that they offered us time to set up before the event started. When we arrived, the place was clean and ready, making it easy to get everything organized. Since we were working with kids, we didn't use the throwing axe area, but we did enjoy some exciting laser tag. you could bring your own water and cake or cupcakes, but you needed to buy your food from them. They used Mountain Mike's pizza for food orders, which was located off Robinhood. There was a bit of confusion among the workers because some understood the rules differently than others. However, I decided to stay patient and ask questions until I got clear answers. After discussing it, everything worked out well for me. My food arrived exactly on time, just like I had requested. The laser tag room was amazing! It had two stories and was really well put together. Honestly, I can't explain how fun it was--you just have to see it for yourself! The kids had a blast playing there, and believe me, it's definitely a workout! They got to play four different games, so there was always something new to try. When you first arrive, you need to sign some waivers and set up your account. They take a picture of you, which goes up on a big screen at the end of your game, showing your score. Everyone was excited to see who had the most points! The atmosphere was lively, and everyone was laughing and cheering. It was a great way to spend the day, and I can't wait to go back again. If you're looking for fun and excitement, this place is a must-visit!

I think they should have at least two for a weekend evening, but that's just me. Not the one bartender's fault regardless. I love pinball but I'm pretty bad at it so that dollar doesn't go very far. They had the Godzilla machine, and that's a favorite of mine. I only ran into one game that wasn't working, but it gave me my quarter back so that's a win win. Overall solid date night spot, and I know we will be back soon. This place offers a great value and while it's hard to find this place from the outside, there was ample street parking. They allowed outside food and the staff was over all helpful and professional. My friend and fellow yelper, with the patient assistance from our DD, came through to taste of the wares for a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon. Tickets were $30 a pop for all you can reasonably drink/taste. Thankfully, the weather was kind, and it was not too hot out. There were also plenty of choices inside the main air-conditioned building, and underneath tents and shade outside too. Direct sunlight was easily avoided for me. Win! Having never been to a beer festival of any kind, I had zero idea what to expect. Line management to get in was kinda eh, but once we had our IDs checked, our wrists banded, our DD settled in, and were corralled into the pen we had ourselves quite a time sampling and re sampling. There was free water everywhere, which was great! BBQ Championship foods were also available, and we tried some nachos and ribs that were excellent. Breweries near and far came, so it wasn't just immediately local beer. We had Oregon and Colorado repping, along with California choices from all up and down the coast and valley. Each brewery booth had anywhere from 3-6 choices. Idol, Five Window, Lodi Beer Co., High Water (where us Campfire Stout fans had pre-gamed beforehand), and Dancing Fox were the ones I tasted from Lodi that I can remember off the top of my head. There were also a few cider (Hemly!) and hard seltzerish (White Claw!) booths. The cover band was pretty good, too. I didn't find the line situation too bad once inside. I never had to wait longer than five minutes per taste. One could go nuts if they wanted, but I like to think I tried to behave myself lol. The indoor plumbing situation was a hot mess, but in a way was nostalgic, reminding me both of the county fair of my youth and also the overflowing Oakland Coliseum bathrooms. Although there were multiple bathroom areas inside, functional plumbing at the time of need was not guaranteed. Closed-toe shoes would have been a good idea, as a mental note to myself for next time. Porta Potties were also available outside, but I did not use these. There was not anything of substance that we could locate for vegans to eat other than beer and stray chips uncovered by meat or dairy. I would come here again for Beer Fest, or perhaps to try out the Grape Festival. Parking was ??? gravel lot and side streets maybe, maybe bring someone from Lodi like we did.

Trees or something? It makes absolutely no sense to have metal tables in the direction sunlight when it's beyond 90 degrees. Absolutely no sense. Whether it is the actual grounds responsibility or the event organizer. It was not a good look.
