I'm not using my real name on this review because the owner is known to be retaliatory, and there are no uncrossable lines with her. Negative reviews have a funny way of disappearing with NLD. Hopefully that stops because truthful accounts of experiences with business are important. I wish I could give a better review, but our time at Next Level Dance left us disappointed on multiple fronts, and I feel other parents deserve to know what we experienced. From early on, it was clear this wasn't the supportive, kid-focused environment the studio's social media presence promises. Instead, there was a constant undercurrent of tension, disputes between staff, parents, and former studio families that never seemed to go away. What concerned me most was that this tension wasn't kept away from the kids. Our children ended up overhearing adult conflicts that had absolutely nothing to do with dance class, which felt completely inappropriate for their age. Even more troubling, the owner herself would gossip and speak negatively about other people, dancers, and even other studios directly in front of and WITH the kids, modeling exactly the kind of behavior you'd hope a children's activity would steer clear of. The owners Facebook and Instagram accounts are also a good place to gauge what you're getting into. She has posted inappropriate things like dancer's billing receipts, and while she did black the name out, the intent was clear enough. The owner's communication style added to the problem. Interactions with her often felt harsh and confrontational rather than professional, and it was hard to bring up even minor concerns without it turning into a bigger issue. You are not allowed to "question her." Classes were canceled for random studio events without the option of making up the class or offering parents a refund. Money matters were another sore spot. Billing felt opaque, things happened with charges that were never clearly explained. A few important, practical warnings: * Don't leave your card on file if you can avoid it. We had unexplained charges show up on our account with no breakdown given, and refunds were not given. * The AC in the building doesn't work. Be prepared for uncomfortably hot conditions during classes. * Keep an eye on who's around the building. We noticed unsavory individuals loitering nearby during class times on multiple occasions. I wouldn't recommend just dropping your child off and driving away. Stay inside if you can, or wait in your car if you can't. By the end, the stress of dealing with the immaturity , lack of professionalism, and lack of transparency with billing outweighed anything positive about the actual dance instruction (which wasn't great either). If you're weighing this studio for your child, go in with eyes open, ask plenty of questions up front, and watch closely for how conflicts and billing issues get handled before you commit. And I don't write all of this to be a tattletale, but just as a glimpse of the type of management you will be dealing with by bringing your child here. read more

My daughter has been a competitive dancer for three years, and for her fourth season she decided to join Next Level Dance (NLD). After auditioning, she completely fell in love with everything the studio has to offer! She especially loves the new studio, which has two dance rooms and a dedicated tumbling space. One of her goals this year is to perfect her side aerials, and NLD is the perfect place to work on those skills. Not many competitive dance studios have a separate space for tumbling, so that's a huge bonus. The owner, Ashley, and all of the dance teachers have been incredibly welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is how transparent they are with team fees. Before signing the contract, they clearly explain where every dollar is going, which gave us a lot of confidence. They also organize monthly team bonding activities, which is such a wonderful way to build friendships and create a supportive team environment. My daughter also loves the workshops they bring in with experienced professional dancers from the industry. It's inspiring for the kids to learn from dancers and choreographers who have worked with artists such as Toni Braxton, KATSEYE, JoJo Siwa, and Abby Lee Miller. If I could change one thing, it would be that I had moved my daughter to Next Level Dance years ago. I've seen the difference through Ashley's actions--not just her words. If you're looking for a studio that will help your child grow as a dancer while providing valuable industry connections, I highly recommend Next Level Dance. Ashley genuinely wants every dancer to succeed, and it shows in everything she does. read more

My experience with this dance studio was extremely disappointing. My biggest concerns were the lack of transparency surrounding money, negativity around children, and an overall lack of professionalism. Children should not be listening to teachers talk about problems between adults, parents, former families, or other people associated with the studio. Communication from the owner and some of her staff was often unprofessional and unnecessarily negative. There seemed to be constant drama involving current families, former families, staff, or others in the dance community. I witnessed frequent negative comments about others behind their backs, which created an uncomfortable and unhealthy environment for everyone involved. Watching people she was "close" to be used for what they could provide, while simultaneously being criticized or spoken poorly about behind closed doors, was extremely off-putting. A children's dance studio should provide a positive, professional, and supportive environment for dancers and their families (which is preached heavily on all of their social media) Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Complete opposite. If you are considering this studio, I strongly recommend doing your research, asking questions, and paying close attention to how the owner handles disagreement or families who decide to leave the studio. My experience was enough to make me realize that this was not an environment I wanted my family involved in. read more

As a mom, I wish someone had warned me before we enrolled. I chose this studio because I wanted my daughter to be in a positive environment where she could grow, make friends, and build confidence. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. Throughout our time there, I felt the atmosphere was filled with unnecessary drama instead of professionalism. Communication was often handled in ways that felt intimidating rather than respectful. After we decided to leave, I expected that to be the end of our relationship with the studio, but it wasn't. We continued to receive unwanted contact, and I even had to deal with an attempted tuition charge months after we were no longer attending. As a parent, what concerned me most was seeing adult conflicts spill over onto the kids. Children should never feel caught in the middle of personal disagreements or studio drama. Dance should be about encouraging , building confidence, and teaching teamwork--not creating stress for the child or the families. If you're a parent looking for a studio, I strongly encourage you to visit several before making a decision. Ask current and former parents about the culture, how concerns are handled, and how families are treated when they decide to leave. There are many studios that provide a positive, supportive environment, and I wish we had chosen one of those from the beginning. Our family is much happier now, and leaving was one of the best decisions we made. read more

Going on year 7 with Next Level and it's honestly amazing to look back and see how far this studio has come. My daughter has grown so much over the years, not only as a dancer but in her confidence, and she is already so excited to hopefully join the competition program next year! Being here this long, we've seen the studio go through different seasons and challenges, especially during COVID. I'll never forget during lockdown how Ashley and her staff still found ways to make the kids feel special. They brought everyone cupcakes and even gave every little girl a tutu. Those are the little things you remember as a parent. Over the years I've watched families leave, some come back, staff change, programs grow, and this once little studio continue to become something bigger. It really has been amazing to watch. The current staff is truly wonderful. Angelo is SO patient with the tumblers and makes them feel comfortable while still encouraging them to improve. My daughter absolutely loves hip hop with Daniella and looks forward to her class every week. I also have to mention their toddler program because I think it's one of the best things they offer. They make dance so magical for the little ones. They've even had princesses come surprise the girls and dance with them during class! It's those extra touches that make the kids excited to come back. No business is perfect, especially one that has grown and changed as much as this one has! read more

Next Level Dance truly lives up to its name. From the moment you walk through the doors, the energy is electric, welcoming, and deeply inspiring. The instructors are not only exceptionally talented choreographers, but they also genuinely care about the growth and confidence of every dancer in the room. Whether you are stepping onto the floor for the very first time or pushing to master advanced choreography, the studio strikes the perfect balance of rigorous training and a supportive, family-like atmosphere. It is an incredible space to challenge yourself, build lifelong connections, and watch your artistry truly flourish. Highly recommended for dancers of all levels! My little one has been here since she was 2 and loves the princess camps, for me, its the absolute perfect spot for my child read more

I am a new parent to Next Level Dance. I am here to give my honest review and hope it sheds light in a real, honest and factual review. My child has been here for a few months now. I have been notified of any and all charges on time and with extra reminders. I am greatful to have reminders and appreciate the communication. I believe there are alot of posts on here that seem too repetitive and want to stop someone from trying out Next Level but I can tell you, my child is thriving and is having the best time in her tumbling and dance classes. I am very happy I did not listen to some repeat bitter posts about the same thing. Please see for yourself and do not go off of angry moms. Because that is what all these posts seem to be..... bitter or angry moms. read more

If you are looking for a dance studio that perfectly balances top tier technical training with a supportive, family environment, Next Level Dance Studio is it. We have been here almost 6 years and have loved every minute of it. Ashley is always on top of bringing the best activities to her dancers plus choreographers. She always clearly communicates everything! Daniella and Emily pour their heart and soul into every dancer who walks through the door and gives 100% to everything they do! They know how to push dancers to reach their full potential and take their skills to the "next level" while keeping the environment positive and inspiring. We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Next Level family. Highly, highly recommend read more

I came across next level formerly known as twinkle toes dance studio while I was pregnant with my little girl. As soon as she came of age we put her in the creative movement toddler class! She's now branched out into tumbling and the cheer team. As a former competitive dancer myself, Ashley definitely knows what she's doing and runs this studio so seamlessly! Truly such a welcoming environment, we felt a part of the family from the moment we walked in for a trial class. We love and appreciate Ashley, Daniella, Emily & ofc Harper and all of the next level staff. The passion they have to make an impact on these kids' life is admirable! read more

My dancer was at this studio for a number of seasons. Ultimately, we left because Ashley (the owner) is a LIAR and a THEIF. She did not deliver on ANY OF THE PROMISES SHE MADE and REPEATEDLY charged our bank account for funds THAT CANNOT BE ACCOUNTED FOR. I cannot emphasize enough how far you should RUN from this shady business. Every positive review they have is from a close friend!!! Who is deep in their pockets!!! Seriously. If you want your child to have legitimate training and actual adults to look up to, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Let me start by saying Ashley has always been very transparent in regards to payments, refunds, and upcoming events. As a new parent to the area and to the cheer program, my hats off to her and her communication skills. I appreciate her always communicating on the band app and I have felt in the know about any and all things coming up and opportunities my child can take advantage of. Its definitely difficult to please everyone! read more

My daughter has been at this studio for a little over a year now. She is in hiphop and recently competitive cheer and tumbling classes. Her growth in confidence and skillset level since joining NLD has been extremely impressive. What we enjoy most about this gym is the constant push for each athlete to become the best version of themselves and putting in the hard work and dedication to get there. read more

Very nice, beginner studio, but just wanted to give a heads up to any mom's out there that it does not seem to be a very "growth-mindset" environment for young girls! Have heard some negative talk about poor instruction by the coaches and harsh favoritism. Hopefully that's just rumors and doesn't go any further than my personal experiences!! read more

We started at Next Level as something for our daughter to do with a couple friends. A year later, Next Level has been our daughter's absolute favorite! Our 3 year old wakes up every morning asking if it's dance class day. Coaches are great, classes are fun, & excited to see the growth to come. Highly recommend! read more
