After auditioning, she completely fell in love with everything the studio has to offer! She especially loves the new studio, which has two dance rooms and a dedicated tumbling space. One of her goals this year is to perfect her side aerials, and NLD is the perfect place to work on those skills. Not many competitive dance studios have a separate space for tumbling, so that's a huge bonus. The owner, Ashley, and all of the dance teachers have been incredibly welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is how transparent they are with team fees. Before signing the contract, they clearly explain where every dollar is going, which gave us a lot of confidence. They also organize monthly team bonding activities, which is such a wonderful way to build friendships and create a supportive team environment. My daughter also loves the workshops they bring in with experienced professional dancers from the industry. It's inspiring for the kids to learn from dancers and choreographers who have worked with artists such as Toni Braxton, KATSEYE, JoJo Siwa, and Abby Lee Miller. If I could change one thing, it would be that I had moved my daughter to Next Level Dance years ago. I've seen the difference through Ashley's actions--not just her words. If you're looking for a studio that will help your child grow as a dancer while providing valuable industry connections, I highly recommend Next Level Dance. Ashley genuinely wants every dancer to succeed, and it shows in everything she does.

For the love of god save your money and time because there's wayyyy better gyms out there for cheer…read moreand dance! If I could rate zero stars I would! The owner of this gym is completely disrespectful and will drive you crazy. In our experience we were Harassed, threatened, and lied to by the gym owner Ashley. Let's start with the harassment and being threatened. My 13 year old daughter was on the cheer team which ended in March of this year. I let my daughter start to have a social media account that I monitor very closely. My daughter made a post of a cheer team she is now on (because it was known that we weren't returning for another season of hell at this place) that I reviewed and approved prior to it being posted. But because the gym owner Ashley didn't agree with the post she blew up my phone and my wife's phone at 9pm to get mad at us about my daughters post and threaten to kick us out of the gym over it. She continued to stalk my daughter's TikTok account and complain and harass us about every little thing. They even went as far as coming out to our car in the parking lot just to complain about it again to us more times than I can count. They are rude and vindictive and my daughter hasn't been there since March. Here we are all the way down the road in July now and I get a notification that this gym tried to charge me a monthly tuition fee today when we haven't been a part of that gym for 4 months now. So my wife messaged Ashley the gym owner and asked her nicely to please remove my card from the file and don't try to charge it again. How did Ashley respond? She responded angrily and threatened to send my daughters TikTok posts to her new cheer gym that she's currently at in hopes to get her in some kind of trouble all because she's mad that we can't stand Next Level Gym! This gym owner is all about high school level drama and it's pathetic! Now let's go over just one of the MANY lies. The owner made promises to the parents in the cheer program like how we need to pay so much money each so that she can bring in an outside choreographer to teach the girls a winning routine. We paid the money (which wasn't cheap) and guess what, we NEVER got an outside choreographer she just pocketed the money. So please, do yourselves a favor if you want to sign your kids up for Cheer. Pay the money to go to an All-Star Gym. It's the same price for an All-Star Gym as this Next Level place. That's what we did and we couldn't be happier!

I also wasn't enjoying a typical gym workout and the memberships cost too much. Now I had zero back ground in dance but music has spoken to me for the majority of my life.  I took a chance and walked into a Zumba class at Dee Dee's and I was hooked. Believe me, I sucked. I had no rythym. I couldn't keep up and I was often not on the same side of the room as the rest of the class. I laughed at myself and kept coming to classes. The instructors were positive, sweet, and humorous. I loved the endorphins and learning new dance moves.  I've been coming to Dee Dee's classes since Sept of 2013. I got pregnant about the same time and kept going all the way up through 9 months along. Zumba made me strong for labor. I started back to classes at 4 weeks post pardum because I missed it so much. I have never felt so good in my whole life. I have rhythm. I'm strong. I can even dance. :) I've lost 50 lbs (30 of baby weight and 20 beyond that) and my knee that's bothered me for the longest time is stronger and hurts less. Most importantly, I can keep up with my 2 busy boys.  Thank you to Dee for having a vision of offering such a fun dance workout that is MORE than affordable. She is an amazing teacher that leads us to succeed. She makes us work and encourages us to do our best-after all, it is our workout. I love that Dee Dee cares so deeply for all of the women that come through the doors. She is here to shape us and teach us how to move in a way that we won't injure ourselves. She rejoices with us in our moments of reaching our goals. She works hard to tailor her classes to each person. Thank you for what you do. :) xoxo

In addition to the hard work and determination you bring, DeeDee is an amazing teacher, trainer, motivator and she'll be you're biggest cheerleader not to mention an awesome friend. It's a win win situation. For me I have had some physical struggles and DeeDee has gone above and beyond to accommodate and modify my workouts. You couldn't ask for a better camaraderie among everyone that comes to any of her classes...its laid back there is absolutely no pressure. Its your work out and we have fun and get healthy all at the same time. If the gym is just not your thing you're in for a treat. It's a dance party with new friends every time you come. Unfortunately, the…read morepressure eventually became too much for her, and she decided to step away from gymnastics and give dance a try at Elite Studio of Dance. From the very first day, she has never looked back! Since starting dance, I have watched her confidence grow tremendously. She looks forward to every practice and comes home excited to tell me all about what she learned and who she spent time with. She was welcomed with open arms by the other dancers and has made so many wonderful friends. One of the things I really appreciate about Elite Studio of Dance is the sense of community they create. I love that they take the time to do roll call at the beginning of class, giving the children an opportunity to introduce themselves, learn each other's names, and connect with one another. It may seem like something small, but I believe those little things make a big difference in helping children feel comfortable and included. The instructors and staff have also been incredible. Every interaction I've had with them has been professional, kind, and informative. When my daughter recently joined the competition team, I had a few questions about my payment plan. The staff responded to my email quickly and took the time to answer all of my questions. That level of communication and support is something I truly appreciate as a parent. I also love how the competition program is structured. The competition dancers practice alongside children who participate simply because they love dance and want to take classes recreationally. I think that creates inclusion rather than division. It allows the kids to learn from one another, build friendships, and feel like everyone is part of the same community. There was even a time when I accidentally mixed up my days and dropped my daughter off too early for practice. One of the instructors kindly allowed her to stay and participate in a class until her scheduled class began, even though she wasn't enrolled in that particular class. That small act of kindness meant so much to me because, otherwise, I would have had to leave work to pick her up. As a parent, one of the most important things to me is knowing that when I drop my child off, she is safe, welcomed, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about her. Those are just two of the many experiences that have made Elite Studio of Dance feel like so much more than a dance studio. It truly feels like a community. I'm so grateful we found this place. Watching my daughter rediscover her confidence, make friends, and genuinely love going to practice has been such a beautiful experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Elite Studio of Dance to any parent looking for a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment for their child.

We've taken classes here with several instructors and subs who were so kind and lovely to the kids…read more I really want to like this school. The dancers are amazing and we are always awed by their competition team performances (my friend's kids compete here) but we were taken aback by a recent encounter that I'm still pondering about to feel. I want to be honest and candid in my feedback as I hope this can be used to improve the school. As parents, we always followed the rules and would drop off esp for ballet class since the owner was strict on this policy (after first class) to not be a distraction to the kids. We've taken intro to dance, ballet 1, and this year was hoping due to schedule reasons enroll in ballet 1/2. We have been doing 2 recitals (which are expensive by the way and cost $100 per dress plus tickets you have to buy PER attendee (yes even toddler). The ballet class name this year was literally ballet 1/2 on the calendar initially and not ballet 2. To accommodate both daughters, I asked if we can enroll given we took ballet 1 the year before. We were told by the owner through text when we asked to change classes that this was ok and she was happy to welcome our daughter. However, we later found out after the second class (it was the first class with the owner as the very first class was with one of her substitutes whom she later told me was not up to standard with that class), that she decided to make it only a ballet 2 class. Therefore after telling my daughter and her friend they can enroll and even encouraging us to, she texted us we couldn't bc the "maturity level and skill level gap was too big." In retrospect, I wish she could've had a discussion with us parents after class face to face instead of delivering by text. I even told her this in response to her texts but to be fully transparent, the teacher never usually in the past communicate to us parents in person and only over text or via mass announcement on Band. In retrospect, I wish she never would've let my daughter in the class bc she said my daughter needed to go back to ballet 1 (which felt like a demotion just after 1 class in ballet 1/2). Yes, this did affect her self-confidence and in her desire to learn bc now my daughter says she loves to dance but doesn't know if dance CLASS is right for her. This is ironic since I was told by the owner/teacher "for her confidence, I want her to be in ballet 1 for a while before she's ready." It was very disheartening how she told other parents the same and one of which also enrolled in the ballet 1/2. My daughter cannot be with her friend anymore in class and my younger daughter (we come there bc of the convenient time) also had to dis-enroll bc of this change and it just left us feeling unsupported, which is disappointing because I always recommended their dance school to other parents and parent groups on social media and to several of my friends who enrolled. One of my friends was excited her daughter would be in same class as mine but this was not to be. All around just unfortunate with the level of communication and giving my daughter hope but then taking that away. She did offer 1 additional class for ballet 1 at the end of the month but thinking we may need some time away to think on this because my daughter still loves ballet and this school is conveniently located but we need some time to reconcile how we feel still about this encounter. I'm conflicted as my daughter loves dance but this recent incidence caused us to question if and when we will return.

Over the past year, I've expanded into new dance styles and started focusing on the finer details--like arm styling and hip movement, not just footwork. I've joined the dance team, performed in group showcases, and taken part in coaching lessons with incredible visiting instructors who've given me professional feedback to grow from. When my first instructor, Valerie, moved and transferred to another Arthur Murray studio, I wasn't sure what to expect--but I was left in great hands. Angela, my new main instructor, has been amazing at challenging me and helping me push my limits. I've also taken lessons with Alexia and Nathan, and all three have supported my growth with their unique styles and encouragement. One big milestone this year has been dancing in front of others through demos. It's helped me shake off nerves, have fun with mistakes, and just keep dancing. My confidence has grown immensely--I now step onto the dance floor excited, not anxious. I've even started receiving compliments on my leading and technique, which feels incredibly rewarding. If you're thinking about trying dance, I can't recommend Arthur Murray enough. But here's the key: don't just take a lesson or two--immerse yourself in the full experience. Take lessons weekly, go to group classes, attend the parties. You'll get so much more out of it if you fully embrace the experience.
