Such a fun Yelp Elite Experience, especially since I got to share it with my mini - a future Yelp eliter ;) I immediately signed up for my trial class when I found out I got into the event. As a mom with a toddler, I'm constantly on the lookout for activities that provide healthy stimulation. Signing up was super easy. When we arrived to the class, there was only 1 other student with my daughter so the class felt very intimate. It's about a 45 minute class filled with singing, reading, utilizing toys and physical objects and then more singing and dancing and of course ballet moves somewhere in between. This is great for babies to familiarize with people interaction but I really think these type of classes benefit more for older little that can actually follow directions and engage in the activity. I think everyone should try a class to see if this is right for your little one

    They have free stickers!

This review is for their boutique! I called in to get my eldest a pair of ballet slippers and we found exactly what she needed for her dance class! Her Pink Glitter Ballet Slippers she picked out sparkled with every step and the staff were so helpful with finding her the right size!! A retired ballerina opened Tutu School specifically for ages 6 months-8 years in 2008 and this location just opened last month!! At their little boutique area, they have great prices on everything your little one needs to dance, cute ballet slip resistant socks and stuffies also! They even offer free trial classes, camps and birthday party packages! They are running a special through the month of October for $85 a month, so act fast!! And if your child wants to precipitate in the Starry Starry Night Recital, registration is now open!! SYOY! :D *Song Credit: Lovely Piano Song by Rafael Krux Site: https://freepd.com/ License: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/legalcode

Allie (dance owner) and all the teachers love all the students, they have had to have taught the big girls to be kind to the little girls because all of the bigger students are so amazing with the Littles. There are various classes , and the teachers and staff pour themselves into the students. I highly recommend this studio. Hours are convenient, staff is amazing, and the dance owner is always there if you ever need to speak with her. She's not an absentee owner. Every time I go to drop my daughter for her class , she's either teaching, or just pulling up. I will always tell people to go here when they ask where my daughter dances.

The dancers are amazing and we are always awed by their competition team performances (my friend's kids compete here) but we were taken aback by a recent encounter that I'm still pondering about to feel. I want to be honest and candid in my feedback as I hope this can be used to improve the school. As parents, we always followed the rules and would drop off esp for ballet class since the owner was strict on this policy (after first class) to not be a distraction to the kids. We've taken intro to dance, ballet 1, and this year was hoping due to schedule reasons enroll in ballet 1/2. We have been doing 2 recitals (which are expensive by the way and cost $100 per dress plus tickets you have to buy PER attendee (yes even toddler). The ballet class name this year was literally ballet 1/2 on the calendar initially and not ballet 2. To accommodate both daughters, I asked if we can enroll given we took ballet 1 the year before. We were told by the owner through text when we asked to change classes that this was ok and she was happy to welcome our daughter. However, we later found out after the second class (it was the first class with the owner as the very first class was with one of her substitutes whom she later told me was not up to standard with that class), that she decided to make it only a ballet 2 class. Therefore after telling my daughter and her friend they can enroll and even encouraging us to, she texted us we couldn't bc the "maturity level and skill level gap was too big." In retrospect, I wish she could've had a discussion with us parents after class face to face instead of delivering by text. I even told her this in response to her texts but to be fully transparent, the teacher never usually in the past communicate to us parents in person and only over text or via mass announcement on Band. In retrospect, I wish she never would've let my daughter in the class bc she said my daughter needed to go back to ballet 1 (which felt like a demotion just after 1 class in ballet 1/2). Yes, this did affect her self-confidence and in her desire to learn bc now my daughter says she loves to dance but doesn't know if dance CLASS is right for her. This is ironic since I was told by the owner/teacher "for her confidence, I want her to be in ballet 1 for a while before she's ready." It was very disheartening how she told other parents the same and one of which also enrolled in the ballet 1/2. My daughter cannot be with her friend anymore in class and my younger daughter (we come there bc of the convenient time) also had to dis-enroll bc of this change and it just left us feeling unsupported, which is disappointing because I always recommended their dance school to other parents and parent groups on social media and to several of my friends who enrolled. One of my friends was excited her daughter would be in same class as mine but this was not to be. All around just unfortunate with the level of communication and giving my daughter hope but then taking that away. She did offer 1 additional class for ballet 1 at the end of the month but thinking we may need some time away to think on this because my daughter still loves ballet and this school is conveniently located but we need some time to reconcile how we feel still about this encounter. I'm conflicted as my daughter loves dance but this recent incidence caused us to question if and when we will return.

Rize All: Where quiet kids dance!…read more We came in with our nervous, quiet kid who surprised us when he decided to join a hip hop class. Ms. Mona and Julia welcomed him with positivity and kindness, helping him feel comfortable in minutes. As soon as class started, he was grooving! As performance day arrived I feared he would lose confidence but he jumped on stage with a HUGE smile and pride! Rize All isn't just about dance--it's about confidence and pure joy. P.S. If you're on the fence--do it. What have you got to lose?

Parking is typically pretty easy to find in the large shopping center they're in. We signed her up for their once a week introduction to dance class. She loved her classmates and instructor and wanted to do their recital in June. The class provided a lot of valuable life lessons. She learned and had several things reiterated: confidence, human kindness, paying attention, respect, responsibility, timeliness, and trying your hardest. Their waiting room is exceptionally small, and they prefer you drop off and pick up your child after class. Unfortunately, that's not realistic for her due to some separation anxiety issues, but we'll continue working on it. Starbucks and Walgreens are both within walking distance for those who are able to drop off their child or children. They sell a variety of ballet and dance apparel and shoes. The recital costumes were reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous. Tickets were also reasonably priced, and the show was well planned and executed. Our daughter's dance partner bailed on her before the second show, and her instructor Mona helped instill the confidence in her to perform a solo rendition that she did a fantastic job with. She's excited to begin class again in August after soccer is over and to perform again in December's recital.
