I've always wanted to check out Hustler casino, and finally had a chance to today! Very easy to access, and I was able to find a parking spot, everything is very clean from the moment you park! By the way, it appears like the building is in a shape kind of like a crown! From the exterior you can kind of see the points go up, you can't really see it that well in my videos, but if you're there in person you'd be able to tell! I was dazzled from the moment I walked into the lobby actually! I kind of felt like royalty with the red carpet rolled out for me! They check my ID and once I walked in the main room, I was actually really shocked because I was not expecting that a casino would look so plush! I really like the atmosphere and the vibe. I liked the colors that went together, and they used like all royal colors! The artwork around the casino was like I was kind of in a castle or something. Even the fonts that they use on the wall to tell you where the lobby is or to tell you where certain things are is very fancy. Not a detail was spared in creating this place! From the gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, to the cushiony looking walls! Lots of things look like they were dipped in gold or metallic colors! There were so much texture, pattern, Sheyn in the building, but it all flowed so nicely! I almost wondered if some of the customers noticed? ! But I did! I really liked how they designed everything! There's a whole center area that has more tables inside, but it's kind of like an atrium with big glass windows that are circular around the whole thing. It was actually a lot to see. But everything was really neat and tidy , and all the staff seemed very attentive yet busy doing their jobs. I walked the floor for a little bit just to check everything out. I really like the fact that it was kind of a circular building or at least the flow of the room was. But there are kind of rooms that branch off as well, and they had this other room towards the back by the Poker area that had a clear glass around it, looked like a big poker table with chairs, I think they do some filming there! Probably the celebrity poker events they have or maybe even a podcast style setup could be done in it! Pretty n awesome! Ordered some food while I was there! The rib eye, side of rice and veggies was perfect! I also ordered a fruit smoothie with light ice, and they brought me a couple bottles of water :). I arrived Friday evening which tends to be busiest, signed up for 1/3, 2/3 and I was able to sit down within 15 minutes. The overall casino vibe is upbeat, significantly more than Commerce. Nice interior decor, table and chair quality. Downside: One factor was poker chips were extremely nasty, considering its casino most touched item/small denomination... it still shouldn't require pliers to separate. -- Food. So my first time today and I can give it a 5 star! Being that I went with people that already knew the bartenders, I can say it was a good vibe! We had drinks on drinks and food and a good ol talk. Overall the casino was locked into the games. Other than that the ambiance was straight. Nothing raggedy. I can't believe they got robbed recently. It was a nice establishment. Was in the area and so decided to get lunch nah somewhere I had never been. Hustler Casino was that spot. We entered and ordered at the counter and were told we weren't allowed to eat at the counter. They took the order and directed us to some top level where the dining area was located. We ordered 2 Chef Salads and some chickwings The lovely lady took the order then directed us to the lounge with a number on a stand. We walked around the casino and found the area. It was on the second floor. It took almost 75 minutes to get our food. And the price for these salads compared to what was served was embarrassing. I wanted to send it back but it would probably take another 30 minutes minimum to get the food. Anyway, the ambiance was a combination of Twitter n Peaks meets Leaving Las Vegas meets the Walking Dead meets Cocoon. It was dreary, unimaginative and could use a deep cleaning. The employees here are so weird honestly. I came in & everything was fine at first I actually walked in with my energy drink I wasn't told anything, half an hour later I walked out to go get my friend & there was a new security and he told us to toss our drinks, I mentioned the last person let us, & he rudely said "he probably just wanted your number, I'm doing my job" I told him that was disrespectful to say as I walked In with my bf the first time. I feel an employee saying that is crazy & unprofessional. Second, there is a huge menu at the bar top, mind you it's a Monday like 10 or more bar chairs and it me and my friend order a cheese cake, it takes about 20 mins to come out so I mentioned that and the lady brings it in a to go bag and I said oh we wanted to eat it here, and she said we can't it's only for drinking? & we had to go upstairs to eat (the upstairs was closed) where am I supposed to enjoy my dessert also my friend ordered a drink and the bartender had got the wrong drink and blamed it on my friend and re makes it and forgets the rim, my friend also didn't like her drink. Another thing, I walked over to my bf who was playing while I was my friend to see if he's ready to go I had noticed this female employee talking to him for a long while didn't think anything of it till I noticed she wouldn't leave & was just talking about how "I'm on the clock but I wanna go talk to those guys" like girl why you even telling my man that? The food here is decent. You dont have to be playing to partake in the Bar/Grill upstairs. Also there is a snack bar. They have poker tournaments going on upstairs but also lots of TV so it is a low key good bar to watch some games. Food can also be delivered to your seat. Order as early as possible because the waiters do fill up FAST They have some pretty cool promos and definitely treat their players good. For example - Every last Friday of the month they give out free food to the players but come early like 2pm. Poker Player appreciation night. Small plates but it is tray-passed and really good food like Chicken, Steak and desserts! Parking is free but does fill up FAST so you may find yourself parking in the street! This place has really gone downhill. It's gambling, you're more than likely going to lose your money, but these have the worst payouts I've ever seen. They are cheap cheap cheap. They have a game called ultimate Texas Hold'em, it's a table game and a flush pays 3:2 on the side, so if you're betting $20, and you hit a flush, you would be paid $30, but if you're betting $25, you should get $37.50, but they are so ratchet here they only pay you $37. There is no sign posted that this is how they pay, and the table felt top still reads 3:2, it's so petty, but that almost sounds illegal! On paigow games they used to use dice, now they use a computer generated "random number" for card distribution, but it's so comical how the dealer randomly always gets the best hands. The dice gave you a little advantage, but they eliminated that to rig their advantage. Some of the workers are gross here, one rando always tries to force his eye contact on me, all the while wearing a cheap wedding ring. Another worker that works here with fake breasts and an ever expanding gut is beyond thirsty and always tries to force her boring chatter on me and my friend. So unprofessional and pathetic. This morning I was playing at the table 19. That time, I heard Manager, Bosco was talking to the lady who was also playing Baccarat. The Manager, Bosco was accusing her that she threw $5 chip at the Dealer, Tony, and the manager gave her accusation after he was saying that he saw the video. I was there the whole time and watched what had happened. - She dropped $5 chip right above the bonus line, but the $5 chip rolled to the Dealer, Tony and finally stopped rolling after touching Tony's hand. That time, the Dealer Tony stared to yell at her that she threw the chip at him. He was very aggressive. His eye was widely opened, he was very rude. And his behavior was unacceptable for me to watch with the people around me. He then called the Manager, Bosco right away as if he was severely hit by a chip. Actually, I saw him throwing the black card at her when she was going to cut the cards. It was very rude. He was the one threw things to the player. To tell you the truth, this was not the first time that I heard the Dealer, Tony yelling at the table in front of the several customers. I saw him doing it a couple of times, but kept doing it over and over again because there was a Manager like Bosco. The Manger, Bosco shouldn't allow him doing such behaviors at the table in front of the customers, never, ever. It was not appropriate behavior for the Dealer, Tony, and also the Manager, Bosco. They, both, should get fired right away. I also noticed the Dealer, Tony who fall a sleep while he was dealing the cards. It was the very short one, but very often. But the Dealer has still been working with the same temper and the same sleeping habits because the Hustler has the Manager like Bosco. Unbelievable!!! I have also noticed that the some Dealers at the Hustler are acting like a Shift Manager, which was not like the employees of other local Casinos. The employees of the other Casinos are always behave themselves very professionally, never rolled eyes, nor yelling at the table in front of the customers. Some Dealers were always busy talking with the Corporations regarding their personal matters and issues. They often dealt cards after finishing talking with them. The one of the dealers said that they wanted to finish talking before dealing cards in front of the customers. Unbelievable!!! And I also heard the Dealer, May stopped dealing the Cards with the hands crossed on her chest without letting the player know because the Dealer, May needed to take a break due to the very fast betting by a player, according to the Dealer May.. So unbelievable again!!!! She was on the clock. How could she say it such thing???? Maybe, that was why people stopped coming to the Hustler Casino due to some undisciplined dealers (But Some Dealers are very nice and very polite). I have lately noticed the Hustler Casino has been had less, less, and less customers. I hardly see any customers after 3-4 am. The Hustler Casino should immediately get rid of the aggressive, rude, and has-no-professional manner like Dealer, Tony, and Dealer May, Ultimately, the Manager Bosco should also get fired because the Manager, Bosco accused the player, and failed to correctly disciplined the Dealer, Tony. Thus, the Hustler Casino needs to reform, and show professionalism to all customers. read more

One of the most depressing place to go and play cards. Their baccarat room had 3-4 tables packed full of min players and management doesn't open more. The entire place went downhill since the last time I was there. Walk in and walk out after 15 mins. Go to the Bike or commerce, at least, you can play at more tables. Its so run down! read more

I used to play here a couple of nights a week. I move since then so don't get back anywhere near as often. They hosted a Meet Up Game (aka MUG) by Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen of YouTube fame. I don't know how many people showed up but there were at least 15 full MUG tables that I could see with a number of people waiting for a seat. They have cleaned up the place since I was last there. Parking is the same (mostly free with some reserved for premier players), they used to have valet but I think with the pandemic has but that on pause. It's a nice sized room but also one of the smaller poker rooms in the LA market. So, if you are relatively new to playing live poker, this would be a good place to start. They have all levels, from $1/$3 to pretty darn high limits. If you are looking for a specific type / dollar size game, I'm recommend calling in advance. They also have some of the casino carnival games (Ultimate Texas Hold 'em, Three Card Poker, etc.) as well as the popular Asian games. I sometimes stop by to play black jack here. This last time I won some money and when I went to the cashier to cash out. He asked for my id, for cashing out only 1500$. I asked why. He said casino policy, and bad actor. The dealers try to make u look dishonest while they pay off a hand when they loose. I betted 200$ on the hand of the person next to me with his permission. I won the hand the dealer paid off the players and my 200$ but usually when you bet on someone else's hand the dealer hands you the chips that you won. I waited for her to give me my chips which were 400$, but she did not do that. So I took my chips that I betted on the person next to me, including my winning. So I think the reason the cashier took a copy of my id is because either they are trying to bann you from the casino or intimate you. read more

The other day, I went to the ladies' bathroom. That time I saw the Cleaning lady, named Maria was swiping the bathroom floor with her broomstick. After that Maria put her broomstick on the door handle and opened a bathroom door. That time, I told her she shouldn't opened the bathroom door with her dirty broomstick. Instead of apologizing, she aggressively told me that most of the customers opened the bathroom doors with their feet. But, I saw no customers opened the bathroom doors with their feet. She was very rude. As a matter of fact, she is the only Cleaning lady at the Hustler, always very aggressive and rude while all other Cleaning ladies are friendly and nice. I further noticed that she locked 4 bathrooms out of 7 bathrooms at night time. I guess she only wants to clean 3 bathrooms. Ambiance is loud and busy like any decent casino but I've been here twice and it smells HORRIBLE! Throughout the entire place it smells like sweat and must like an old dirty gym locker room. The ONLY clean place in this entire casino is in the very back where its closed off for the live stream lol although i like watching HCL, its pretty sad that youd see that and assume its the same throughout only to be greeted by sweaty smelling balls everywhere. Every casino will take your money I go where the staff is friendly and they make me feel welcome. Tammy is my favorite security guard she always has a smile for me. My chip girls , Robin and Angel, know me by name and remember the amount and color of my chips , it's just nice ! My floorman , Mario , always has my back , I've never had to wait long to be seated. Our players are well mannered and have good hygiene and hey that matters I'm passing cards and ships with these people for hours so things like that count. Like cleanliness of bathrooms and such , never an issue. And as a bonus they have a great kitchen. And chandeliers , yeah we got a few. I was in Hustler casino today. I was playing 4-8 A lady name Rose through her hand away. Dealer put her cards in the muck. Pushing me the money! Then she said wait I think I had something. They called over lady pit boss, and she let the Lady Rose have her cards back. And gave her the pot! Then she told me it was a policy or a rule at the Hustler Casino.. I have never been to any casino where a person through their cards in the muck and was able to get them back and when the hand. Never!! It's been a while since I've been in a Los Angeles local Casino. This is one of the nicer casinos in the LA area. Classic, cleaner and classier than the others, imo. Not sure why Los Angeles's Casinos does not have slot machines, I think it's the regulations and permits. It would be awesome if they allow slot machines.. Jackpot! Because if that's the case we wouldn't have to drive Palm Springs, San Diego, Vegas, etc! I don't know how to sit at the poker or black jack tables, I get too nervous! I love the Hustler. I started going there 20 years ago, and while there was a brief moment where I felt less than comfortable there, that has definitely changed. I finally feel like the Hustler has become the #1 poker room in LA. They always had the potential, but now they spread a much wider range of games and buy-ins. And with the addition of Hustler Live, oh that just sets the Hustler apart from the rest!!! The floor staff, the dealers, and players, are like family! Told me my food would be ok THREE TIMES!!! Over $45 worth!!! Then they just take it!! And not only that, when I inquired about it they were EXTREMELY Rude and told me literally that it was MY fault for leaving it there. There is no where else to put it since their covid rules restrict dining at the poker table. Yet I asked the staff and they said "yea no problem" and everytime I do it they take the food. Also I was going to leave at the and we had to wait over 10 min to cash our chips out; The security went OVERBOARD shining their lights into my truck while I was trying to let it warm up and get the heater going. They kept telling me I had to leave and I hadn't even been outside the casino for long than 10min It's Sooo disrespectful! Had just played for 9 hours and each hand they get $6. Each hand takes no more than 3 minutes, some take less than a minute. which means in one hour they are making between 60 to $150. Over 9 hours, at 150 is $1300. And I got treated like that. The bike would NEVER treat me that way. I'm beginning to Learn every casino is shiesty in their own way, but this experience made me want to go my to original Hawaiian Gardens.
