We were visiting from San Diego for a birthday celebration for the MIL and the family wanted coffee and pastries for breakfast. Hustle & Dough had just that and then some. I was pleased to find they had an avocado toast on their menu as well as a lavender latte. Both were delicious! We were able to grab a large table by the cash register for our family but I am sure it could have easily served as a community table. There were a number of other seating spaces throughout the cafe, mostly for parties of 2-4 at the most. The entire decor and aesthetics of the place was so cute, very Instagram worthy. A coffee shop/bakery that is situated in the lobby of the Arrive hotel. The decor and vibe is on point, a millennial paradise but I'm not complaining, I love it and they did a great job. We ordered at the counter and settled on the basic toast with butter and pear preserves and the Japanese egg sandwich plus 2 black coffees and loaded up on pastries and bread for the road. The egg sandwich was not quite to our taste, but the simple oversized piece of freshly baked and toasted multigrain sourdough with soft, salty butter and pear preserves was wonderful. We are so excited to have a whole loaf to enjoy this week. When the woman who helped us brought the packaged loaf to us it was still warm from the oven. A bit pricey (toast was $4.50) but I would recommend, it is a treat. I was disappointed I wish the guy who helped us decide would have mentioned the jamon beurre as that would have been totally to our taste and satisfying. Also perk - free coffee refills! read more

Shared flaky, delicious pastries and a rosemary cheddar apple scone with my breakfast dates. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I meant to take a photo of my toast but had eaten 2/3 of it before I snapped out of my "epicuric delirium" and realized it. Next time. Go! You won't regret it. Simply the best pizza in Memphis. What an incredible find. Small, intimate, relaxed dining experience.

This space is adorable and in a great location. The hotel lobby decor is fabulous. None of that matters compared to the food from Hustle & Dough, though. The sourdough is LEGIT. Perfect crumb, perfect tang, and perfect crunchy crust. I am slowly working my way through the menu and have yet to taste something bad. Highly recommend the French toast with pears. It's on the sweeter side but excellent with a cup of black coffee. I want to mention that there is a trolley stop right outside of the hotel. It's really convenient and the trolly ride down S. The ambience was low key, not too noisy, despite having most seats occupied. The music was on point... who doesn't love Bill Withers and Al Green. Oh boy these are some delicious breakfast pastries!!! Tried the raspberry and pistachio hand pie, the chocolate and espresso hand pie, the potato and raclette hand pie, and the blueberry scone. Be prepared to spend a little more for these smallish hand pies ($20 for all), but also recognize the time it takes to make such a delicious pastry dough. We took a road trip to Memphis and stayed in this hotel called Arrive which has this bakery called Hustle and Dough in the lobby. I stopped at the bakery to grab a light breakfast before our sight seeing and ordered a simple avocado toast. This avocado toast was anything but simple. When I first looked at it and saw the sliced avocado on top of the bread, I kinda had an attitude because all of my previous avocado toasts had smashed avocado. I was expecting to bite into some bland mess. I was surprised and delighted. This avocado toast sat on the most yummy buttery thick toast and was nestled in some jalapeño relish that made my heart flutter. As if this wasn't already a home run, they put some roasted pepitas on the top which took this from great to great-great. Let's just say I'm looking forward to waking up again tomorrow so I can order this again. read more

AMAZING french toast, so fluffy, so flavorful. The interior is not set up for groups of more that 2 and honestly not even set up for groups of two. It has a cute ambiance with a small menu.
