Issues with my hot water heater as pilot light would not stay light. Inspection set for 8:30am today. Kenny arrived on time and quickly diagnosed heater was not serviceable and needed replacement. We hired him and his father to build us an outdoor kitchen. They quoted us 6 to 8 weeks in the beginning and we were very patient with him all last summer when we started the project. All the sudden they started dragging their heels and things weren't getting done. Messages would go unanswered and he would say he was coming and not show up. Matt had issues with the countertops to begin with and changed to butcher block assuring us that the butcher block was made for outdoors. We never even got to use the kitchen before the countertops were completely cracked and warped . Instead of fixing it he knocked the price down because he did not want to have to take care of the countertops. We did agree and asked him if he could at least come and fix the concrete that wasn't setting right. After I realized what a nightmare job he did on the pizza oven I asked him if he could repair it, not once did he answer me or acknowledge the issues with the pizza oven. He told me prior to us hiring that he had indeed built another pizza oven. I am doubting that at this point since the pizza oven is now cracking and heat and smoke ks coming out of the cracks. This pizze oven also smokes from the front when the smoke should be going out of the chimney. After researching I found out that a chimney for a pizza oven needs to be a minimum of 6 inches in diameter and he put a 3 inch flue on there. This whole process has been a disaster. The bricks are now falling off on the kitchen sides and we have continually had to glue them back on. We had another contractor out to finish the countertops for us and he pointed out that the kitchen sink is not plumbed right and there's no way to blow out the pipes ao they won't freeze. They also put no insulation around pipes going to the house.

I initially called because I to find out what was needed to be able to plug in a hot tub, check outlets and light switches that did not work, and find out why the Christmas lights and vacuum would blow the circuit. I asked Andy if he could write out the information he found or call me later in the day to explain it since I had to return to work, he refused and left a bill for $120. He did tell me it would then cost $2500+ to expand the breaker box for a hot tub. In the time allotted Andy could not figure out what the sub panel did, did not find out what outlets and switches did. He told me I just need to expect that vacuum's and Christmas lights will blow the breaker. I found out after googling and asking around what to look for for a hot tub hook up. Apparently, the breaker box already had a sub panel which leads out to the nation where it is already wired for a hot tub. Andy was not able to determine what the sub panel did in the time allotted. I've never been charged for this type of consultation before. While I agree there was not enough time to look at everything, I am not an electrician and would have been fine with rescheduling rather than being asked to pay for an incomplete job and an irrelevant quote.
