The owner, Todd Fitzpatrick, was recommended to me by my neighbor. The very first time I called him, he walked me through the issue over the phone...no charge! Yesterday, I texted him at 7:45 am letting him know I had several concerns with the electricity in my 1906 home. He contacted me back within 4 hours and came by at 2 pm. I'm not even kidding when I say he literally saved my life, or at least my home, in less than 40 minutes. I recently had paver work done. The GFCI to the pond went out about the time the project was complete. I was sure a wire was knicked because a friend put in a new GFCI for me and it still wouldn't reset, though the outlet was live. He's pretty saavy when it comes to electrical work, but this time actually crossed the wires. Apparently this made it a huge "shock" hazard. Ty, the apprentice (I believe apprentice), fixed it while Todd took a look at my next concern. It was a switch in the kitchen that seemed loosey goosey. Well, it was more than that....the wire was not securely wrapped around the screw and you could see the burnt discoloration on the unit itself. Uh... Almost a Fire! He put in a new light switch. Boom, done! Then he noticed that the main electric coming into my house was not securely attached to my home, as well as the entry point was missing a very important cover that if it got wet, would have fried my electric panels. Since the house is old, one couldn't be purchased, but Todd found an appropriate cap in his truck and made the necessary modifications to secure it. Aside from being incredibly honest, fair priced, creative and reliable, Todd and his team make calmly offered the best solutions. I somewhat expected them to come in and say that my whole house needed re-wiring and instead, I have peace again! Anxiety gone when it comes to electrical issues in my home! Thanks Todd and Team. I highly recommend Fitzpatrick Electric. When I called I was greeted with a very friendly voice asking how they can help me. I had contacted other electricians and was expecting a litany of questions, almost like a job interview, regarding the work to be done. However, Todd was very pleasant and asked enough information to enter the work order without it feeling like an interrogation. While Todd was great I cannot speak highly enough of Ty, the electrician who came onsite to do the work. He was sure to communicate throughout the day regarding his ETA which was delayed due to a bridge closure. Many would have politely rescheduled after sitting in traffic for an hour but not Ty. He arrived as promised and ready to work. I must admit my house is old (1928) and the crawlspace and attic are gross. He ventured into both and very adeptly assured me the layers of cobwebs sticking to his extremely clean and tidy uniform was "no trouble" and that he was "used to it". I question the validity of both of those statements however never for a second was he judgmental or exasperated, despite the many problems he uncovered. One after another, he would call me over, explain what the issue was, show me the root cause of the problem, and assure me he could fix it if I would like him to, but leaving the decision totally up to me, without pressure. Beyond that, he was incredibly safe and careful in his work. I have often observed workers jumping the 4 feet into the crawlspace and then crawling back up, but Ty took the time to do it correctly and use a ladder. He also helped to prioritize the problems we uncovered by labeling them as a potential safety issue or something which could possibly wait to be addressed. I could name a dozen other things Ty did today to deliver superior customer service but I hope you will instead see for yourself. read more

Way overpriced, but then, what contractor needs the business right now? I will say, and appreciated, that they were quick to come and look the project over and were a week to two weeks out, which is a phenomenal turnaround; however, I was referred to someone who is doing the work for a third less. Todd and Ty were both great! Called for very last minute help with my non-functioning electric range. Todd dispatched Ty, who arrived in a mere 15 or so minutes. Ty quickly identified an issue with my circuit breaker. He repaired it with ease and was cordial and patient with all my questions (I was curious about the process, and I know zero about electric). Our breaker flipped and wasn't flipping back over from adding in an AC unit and fans on a hot day while trying to vacuume. We panicked a bit because we have a 4 month old. Todd and Ty were excellent to work with. They were very responsive to the original inquiry, walked me through their process of how to fix the issue, and were professional throughout the entire project. They even pointed out other issues that were happening in the circuitry and fixed them to prevent future damage. They returned my call promptly, got me on their schedule the same week, showed up a bit early, AND kindly told me my electrical box was already grounded without charging me for their time. Cannot recommend highly enough. Their hourly rate isn't cheap, however you get what you pay for. So happy to have their electrician Ty come to our house and fix what needed fixing. He was polite and funny and worked his buns off! read more
