We live in Mountain House, CA and if you live here, you definitely know about the electrical issues from poor builders using cheap material or doing poor work. After a few failed electricians, I found Ross Electrician here on Yelp. I emailed Michael regarding my porch light not working. He gave me a few options to choose from and the pros and cons of each option. Which I found super helpful. We decided to go with the LED lights. I had to call 5 electricians before one called me back in a timely fashion. A bonus was that the person returning my call was knowledgeable as well as professional. By the end of the call I had a competitive quote as well as a date for installation of my ceiling fans. Mike came to the house today and in 3 hours he had both of my ceiling fans up and running. Michael installed an outlet for my Tesla in my garage. Tesla recommends particular electricians to work with for outlet installation, but the ones I called were either unprofessional or didn't get back to me. Michael was incredibly professional, punctual, courteous, and performed quality work. He came to look at where the job was going to be done and got the job finished the same day (1-2 hours from what I remember). Can't get any better than this! Michael Ross knew exactly what he was doing. in the past i had hired a different electrician who did NOT know what he was doing. i paid him $$ for nothing, what he came out to do quit working 2 days later. i called Ross Electric because i had a front porch light switch that wasn't working, and entry hall switch, a living room switch, and a whole house fan that hasn't worked right for 2 years. Michael got the fan working right away, he also got all the switches done quickly. everything works fantastic! not only that, but i personally felt he was more than reasonably priced. i'm not writing a great review because i know him, and am trying to boost his YELP page, i had never met him ever until he showed up to do the job.. i'm writing a great review because he is that good! Mike came out to my house to install a ceiling fan. Found an illegal junction in the attic, got it corrected and put a new junction box in place. Installed the ceiling fan with new wiring, brace kit and it looks great. He used my provided drop cloth to keep the area clean, and cleaned up when finished. I liked that Michael was a one-man show, so I didn't have to worry about sub-contractors or hired help. His price was reasonable, and he was even wiling to match a slightly lower price I found elsewhere.
