    Thrift shop?
    Greg M.

Meh, just a big furniture store that could double as a maze if you're into walking your legs off while looking at mostly boring stuff for your home, all while being chased by sales people who are clearly anxious to sell something. Sure, you may in fact find something you need, but it won't be much fun. Some rooms are downright depressing, especially those that resemble a thrift store with way too much crammed into them.

This is just one example of what the cushions look like after a month.

don't go here! They don't back up what they sell. the quality of the furniture is awful and the customer service after the sale is non existent. We purchased several pieces from here but one sofa in particular was over $2K and in 2 months looks like it's ten years old. THEY DON"T CARE! Don't buy a thing from this company. The store is awful the furniture is quality is worse than Rooms To Go! The customer service rep. tried to tell us the problem is normal wear and tear. They even sent someone out to inspect the sofa who actually acknowledged there was a problem with the spring under one of the cushions. They chose to ignore what the inspector said and are not wIlling to back up their product. Just save your self a lot of time and money go purchase from a reputable business. This one is not! The photo is just a sample of how bad this sofa looks after only a few months. They don't Care! They don't deserve anyones business. How they're still in business is shocking. It's also funny that the store owner is going to reply to the one vaguely written good review they have on Yelp. NO reply for anyone with actual problems.

This place is a maze. You could put in spooky lighting, some decorations and have this be a haunted house during that spooky season. At several points in time, I thought that I would never be able to find my way out. The main difference between this and an IKEA store is that this has a more homey feel and is not as warehouse feeling (and of course is more laid back, and has no dining café). I liked how everything was set up as its own little room. At least for the matching sets for bedrooms, dining rooms and so on. The mattresses were all grouped together. In part of the showroom floor (on the 2nd floor where the mattresses are), you can look down in the warehouse where they have furniture wrapped up and placards praising the benefits of their warehouse. On the day I came (Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving 2018), parking was still easy. I walk in was greeted, and started walking around. I am in need of some furniture and am going to get it piece by piece as I can't afford it at this time to get it all at once. After about an hour, I was asked by an employee (who was helping someone else) if I was finding everything ok. Again, I was just browsing, so I was fine. The first floor had a few interesting items (I took pictures of), so I went to the 2nd floor. After about another hour of wandering around, I was again asked by an employee who was helping someone else if I was finding everything ok. I get up to the kids furniture and office furniture on the smaller 3rd floor and walk around. I did find a few pieces that I was interested in, but nothing I had to get THAT day, which was kind of good as I wasn't cornered by a salesperson looking to pad their sales. Which I wonder if they do commissions on sales as I wasn't being stalked. That was a good thing. I dislike hassle. I made it all of the way down to the 1st floor and made my escape. I am not sure if I will be back as it seemed SO large and SO overwhelming that I am just not sure about supporting them. There are many elevators throughout the sales floor to get from one level to another. Entrance is wide for wheelchairs. Everything seems easy to get around, the displays were wide enough to get around and not knock anything over, and all of the breakables seemed out of reach of little hands.

My wife and I purchased a loveseat and matching couch from Hurwitz Mintz less than five years ago. The salesman that sold us the two pieces assured us that the material was actually better than leather. We also bought an extended warranty that cost us $1500. When the material started peeling two years after the purchase date we contacted Hurwitz Mintz and told them the material was peeling, they said that was not covered under the manufactures warranty or under the extended warranties. I will never ever do business with these dishonest people and I would suggest anyone looking for any type of furniture to go elsewhere.

I was raised in an mid century modern home. Who knew that I would come to love the clean classic…read morelines that seem to interact well with my funky eclectic style. One day the Pirate says: I'm tired of all this bargain basement, thrift store, upcycled, found on the side of the road crap we have. (maybe he didn't say bargain basement or upcycled, but he was wearing an eye patch....no that's not true....maybe drinking whiskey at 9am? Yep definitely true) I saw a review for this place and popped in one day.......Ohhhhhh.......Ohhhhhhh....... yep I was in furniture store love. It's not cheap, nor is the quality. So the Pirate is tired huh....Well I'm going to get exactly what I want then. Our affair started with several trips to view a davenport, that's what my MamaToo called hers. It needed to double as a sofa and comfortable bed for guests visiting. Davenports tend to have boxy cushions that can be removed revealing a day bed sorta thingy. I went maybe three times over several weeks. It was an investment afterall. Katie was there from the beginning to help, no pressure...take my time...she'd send pricing quotes for different configurations and pictures, did i need a swatch sample? I gave my orange retro couch the old heave ho and passed it on to a herb smoking musician and have never looked back. Next came the side table a few months later Then they had a warehouse sale and we bought a sideboard ( Ohhhhh I love that piece) then another side table for whiskey for the pirate.... a few small gifts for friends over the years from their in-store selection and various pop up shops they host. Katie was my gal.....who put up with my thoughts and hesitation to invest.... never any pressure Then I bought a new dresser (I dragged my old one onto the side of the road, helping a man load it into his truck....hey...why I am loading it.....) and then I bought a slim book case that I had been eyeing for months was snagged at their showroom sale. Of course I needed the nightstand match now....so I bought that. and then one day i looked around and I was finished...no more to buy....no more...nope.... Over the last 3 years I have loved everyone and my darling Katie..... AND then my gal hooked me up for a VIP sale..... probably the best deals ever and since dear Angelique needed a desk, I picked up a desk top and a single chair......and a market umbrella for future festivals and what not. The Pirate doesn't complain anymore, but he still drinks Whiskey at 9am. He is happy with my choices and considers this mid century modern look his now......I need a bigger house or a new studio...sigh tell them CrazyRe' sent you

They didn't have tons of gift items when I was there. But they did have some pretty amazing modern house decor. As befits a store selling modern furnishings everything was clean and well laid out. The store was easy to move around in and everything was clearly marked. The staff seemed to be in a meeting when I arrived (30 minutes before closing) but a salesperson did offer to help me and the one other customer in the store. She checked back in with me while I browsed but was definitely not pushy. I really want/need the copper chair they had on display...but first I'd have to figure out where to put it.
