Spent a great deal of time researching and reviewing mattresses. I have a bad back so need a firm…read moreone. Sales people convinced me the one I bought (Serta) would be and stay firm. Not much more than a month later after I bought it, the mattress is beyond sagging, it's like a hammock. I'm a tall 190lbs, so like, this shouldn't happen. Researching this on the Internet, all I find are horror stories. Company says make a warranty claim. Sounds like a pain and the run around before they screw me over. I had to put down a $10 deposit and the manager Matt kindly dropped off to my office a 2 x 4 block of wood and some string. Said hang the string over the bed and put the block where the sag is. Right. How dumb does this sound? So I did it and as instructed, took pictures of it as well as the mattress and box spring. Was told that If the bed has no stains and the string covers enough of the block, then the company will cover the warranty. Really? So, I sent the pictures in on a Friday. Amazingly, just the next Monday they messaged me to say that they are going to cover the warranty. My faith in humanity is restored, and I've changed my review for one star to five stars. Matt went above and beyond. Still, very frustrating and stressful situation. Not at all happy with Serta, but Mattress Direct is now OK by me. They did the right thing and helped me out. That in itself is impressive.

Never use this company!…read more I contracted this company to install countertops in my home. They sent a crew that spoke no English. They did a terrible job. Huge gaps, terrible seams, crooked sinks. I complained. The company refused to cut new stone. They sent the same crew out again, with no translator. They attempted to make adjustments to the countertop in place. This created dust that filled my entire home. It did not fix the problems. They came back 3 times to make adjustments. Beyond the language barrier, the crew was very unprofessional. They took tools out of my garage and used them to complete work. Nothing was stolen but seriously you don't have your own drill? The company was terrible to deal with. We would call and no one would answer. We would go to the store and it would be closed during their posted business hours. We left messages and sent emails, and it would take days to get a response. The only thing they wanted to do was send out the crew who couldn't understand my complaints for adjustments. They acted like the work in the photos below was quality and that my wife and I had unreasonable expectations.
