So I stopped by To see about a New York State inspection, Tires (only had 6-7/32's legal but wanted better- winter don't ya know) and if they good get what I wanted in tires an alignment also. Told them that I was having a problem putting fuel in it - kept clicking off the pump. They were planning on closing early Christmas Eve - noon- so depending on what was found in or around the fuel system would be how much time and money it would cost. I told them not to worry I would be happy to leave it two days for them (12/22 and the 23rd) and pick it up wed. morning 12/24. Left the keys and car and they offered to take me home. Monday they received the tires I wanted at a price That was even less than the mail order Tire Rack cost (but they included the install & balance, discounted the alignment as I was getting tires! Found the problem with the fuel system, plugged vent filter and kinked hose. Car is a 2008 (Chrysler stopped production 2010) so hard to get parts but they found them. They should arrive on the 23rd, if so they could finish it on time. Long story shortened they did not arrive Tuesday, would be rushed to arrive morning of the 24th. I called about 9AM wed. still no arrival, but they said they would stay to finish it for me as that is what was promised. I called back about 10:30Am parts had arrived they would finish it for me. They busted "their stones" to try!! At 11 am called back and said "Go Home and have a good Christmas"! It made me feel like family. They are always closed Sat. So I picked it up Monday the 29th, about mid day. They care about customers, I am one and will be one, no need to even check anyone else out. Price was even 20 plus percent less than quoted. GREAT People Great Place. give them a try!

What really set them apart was how well they took care of us when we were in a bind--they even picked up, towed, and dropped off one of our cars when we weren't able to get it there or pick it up ourselves. I've lived in mechanicville for 22 years and never gave haneys a try. Highly regretful that I did worst of all there is still sounds coming from my front end. Never again. 680$ for one wheel bearing is outrageous and a clear indication of people taking advantage of others when they need their help and service. Place next door quoted 200 + dollars cheaper and would have had it in a day this has been an unacceptable experience. Update: Owner Jay reached out and is taking care of everything. Offered to reevaluate the invoice and offered a refund for any time that may have been misrepresented. Also took care of the inspection that was not completed. The reaction to this experience from the owner was very professional and very much appreciated. Thank you Jay, I appreciate everything and very impressed with the level of speedy response when faced with a customer issue. It's clear that the owner cares very much for the outlook of the buisness to its surrounding community a good reputation is key to staying successful in a small town. The owner understands this and makes that clear thank you again Jay.
