I've been to Huqqa Lounge before for just hookah and tea and have always enjoyed the interior with good seating and many TVs showcasing sports. The service is not the best, but it isn't bad either. Though, finally for the first time I tried their food and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect much from their food, but I honestly enjoyed it and it helped that I was starving haha. I ordered the Adana Kabob and the meat was cooked well while the pilaf and salad were both flavorful. Also, the fries were actually crispy. THE BEST SPOT FOR HOOKAH AND FOOD!! the hookah flavors are great and last all night, they are constantly changing the coals out. service was amazing and food is 100/100. i was unsure on what hookah to get and the server recommended skyfall. she explained the menu very well and it ended up being great! food came out fast and everything was literally perfect. we also had a birthday at a table, and they played HBD on the speaker with a cake. i would honestly order as much as you can from the menu. we ordered a variety of things and it was amazing! portion size is fantastic, food is seasoned, and the flavors are great. prices are fair and service was lovely. everyone was super helpful and attentive. it's a chill place to hang out w friends. they play music but not too loud, and it's definitely not a club vibe, which is nice! i honestly had a perfect experience at this place and can't wait to go again! read more

Brand New Hookah Spot in Falls Church. Grand Opening in slated to be on December 2020! Hard to locate but it's on Lee Hwy, right behind Victor's Grill + El Tio. Big Warehouse turning into a Spacious Turkish Restaurant and lounge known for their infamous Turkish Breakfast on the weekends. First impression is nice with warehouse style high ceiling, therefore not to smoky and great air flow. Lighting and ambience matching coherently with decoration and floor plan. Since their ceiling is high with open space.. it gets little loud at times and nothing to absorb the sounds carried by guests. Hoping they decide to add Sound proofing materials as it will help to dilute the travelling sounds all over the lounge. Came here Saturday night and it was decent packed. I tried their Turkish Brand Hookah and it was really good and smooth. Highly recommend if anyone want to try something else other then Starbuzz & Alfakher brands. Haven't tired the food yet but heard nothing but the best about it. Hoping to come back after Grand Opening while they are100% functioning with full menu and more design work to be finish as well. Everything was great expect they only had one server working the entire place and poor girl couldn't keep up trying to attend to everyone's needs. However once you got her attention, she went above and beyond to take care with best of her ability. Hoping they would add more staff down the line for speedy service. This place needs a lot of work now. Used to be one of my favorite but now it feels like they have no clue what they are doing. Food is still good but the service is horrible. Only 2 servers for 100+ people. Slowest service. I think we will have to give them sometime to get back on their feet. Also please train your servers. I've came here multiple times and gave them multiple chances assuming that they might be busy that day or it was a bad day in general, but every single time (5+ times) I've been here Its been made clear that nothing matters to them besides money. They forcibly add tips to certain tables (even though the service is horrible) and I've had multiple waitresses RUDELY ask about their tip before even giving me a check. Last night was my last time going there, our waitress was extremely rude and was frustrated at us for not understanding her since she couldn't speak English well. We were being patient and trying to understand but after last night I'm never coming back. Of course, before she gave us our check she also asked about her tip even though we saw her once the whole 3 hours we were there. Unfortunate that we left with this bad taste. If time wasn't precious and scarce yesterday, we would have addressed it then and there. I would like to give zero stars. The staff wasn't friendly, didn't assist, could really care less about customers. There were bugs flying around landing on our food and we just could not eat. WOW....is all we can say. We left the house this morning looking to get out for breakfast but couldn't think of anything amazing we wanted. Made it to Merrifield when my husband suggested trying to find a Turkish breakfast spot. We know of a few in DC but didn't feel like driving into the city so popped it into Yelp and this place came up. Not many reviews but we saw they had Turkish breakfast so decided to give it a try. Pulled up and couldn't find the building and after driving back and forth realized their sign isn't up over the door yet. So for reference it's the door directly to the right of what looks to be an old gym. My husband and I have high expectations for Turkish breakfasts and seeing the building from the outside we started to have low expectations of the impending meal. However, upon entering you feel like you've stepped into a beautifully designed middle eastern restaurant and all I have to say is we were BLOWN AWAY. BEST TURKISH BREAKFAST in the US!! And we've had it all over the US. The only thing that out does it is having it in Turkey. The owner was super helpful and told us the sign for the restaurant is on the way so I'm sure future customers will be able to find it easier as well. We'll definitely be back here and plan to bring family in the future when they're in town post covid. Overall great experience and excellent food! Additionally, they have beautiful interior design and multiple great instagramble spots! I only captured one as a tease for you to go check it out! read more

Hands down one of my favorite hookah lounges. Friendly staff, delicious food and tea, and great hookah especially. I have been here numerous times and they never fail to disappoint. There's board games available there as well. I highly recommend trying the kunafe, they serve it hot and it's delicious. The decor is minimal and tasteful. The hookah is the best I've had in this area. The man that makes the hookah and brings it out is very friendly and is always willing to help troubleshoot any issues with the hookah. I also appreciate that they have the disposable hose with the snap off top to ensure it hasn't been used and resealed. The waitresses are often busy and you have to flag them down but I didn't mind and they're all very sweet. I will say I've tried maybe 6 menu items from them and I didn't enjoy the food much but it may just be my palette. I tried a few sandwiches, the kibbeh, mozzarella sticks, spinach pie, knafeh, a few cakes. My friend ordered the fettoush salad once and I did like that though. read more

Came through here for the iftar buffet. Not worth it. It's 25$ and the food isn't good. You're better off getting the food from the menu which I haven't tried but I believe it's good. There is this one server there whose mad disrespectful and weird. My friends and I paid for our own sh**. As we were paying one of my friends didn't want to tip. This waiter had the audacity to tell her that "why didn't you tip? Why did you hit no tip" EXCUSE ME. She even said "This is America and we work for tip so you should tip." She comes over to me and I tipped her even though she made that comment. She had an attitude didn't say thank you. THEN WALKS OVER TO MY FRIEND AND SAID "I don't care that you didn't tip me, it just shows who you are as a person." And walks away. Oh my god. I was like oh no she did not just say that. LOL. The audacity. Honey this is what comes with working as a server. Not everybody wants to tip and whoever does it depends on how they feel and how much they'd want to give. I have been in this place several times. The food is great. They are definitely better then My Cravingz in Manassas. They serve more options for Turkish Breakfast platter and the sizes are better. I come here often and I wish I could like this place better. The food is excellent in my opinion however the service is beyond horrible. It's exhausting having to keep trying to find a waiter or waitress to take an order especially when it's not busy. They sit and stare at you as if they just don't care that you're there. They never check on you if you need anything. The biggest problem I have is the tipping. On one occasion the waitress automatically gave herself a 20% tip and signed for me. WTF... Who the hell are you to give yourself a tip on my credit card. I figured maybe it was a fluke or anomaly. It seems like every time the waitresses give me the bill now they automatically check the 20% tip button. I normally just hit okay because I'm trying to be nice, but this is getting absurd especially for horrendous customer service. read more

This was my first time at this hookah lounge. They were so anti-Black on a Saturday night. The worker came and grabbed not only my tea but my hookah while I had it in my hand. He didn't ask to clean up or take the stuff to the back because they were closing. He came and grabbed it out of my hand and cleaned the space. So the hookah was okay. But man the service is the worst. Like we had water bottles that were already with us and the guy I think the co owner aydin I think is like having a 10 min convo on how you can't have that water bottles. I was honestly too tired to argue since I'm studying for an upcoming exam but damn it's like unnecessary. We literally have half opened water bottles. And u actually had a conversation with me to not bring the water in. Extremely unclassy and cheap. I've taken half open bottles to other places and NO ONE has said anything. The waitress definitely said something and snitched. It's just water. Anyways there are def a lot of other places I would recommend but if it's just like to study for a bit and no where else to go then guess u can try it but beware of the service.
