They have a full bar, bottle service and take reservations for groups and special occasions. There is limited street parking and but there are garages close by you can pay to park in on the side of Vermont St or I (Eye) St. Be sure to check when garages close or you can't get your car out until the next day. I highly recommend taking the metro to Farragut West or taking a ride share taxi there. I have not tried the food yet so that is why it's only 4 stars. Will update the review later. They are usually open from 10pm-3am on Fridays and Saturdays and the hours vary on other days.

Staff was friendly and helpful at the door. The inside was dark when we arrived and it would've been nice to have some house lights so people could find their way around the venue a little easier. The AC was cranking and the temp was comfortable. Upstairs has standing room and some bleachers which provides a good view with less of a crowd. Their VIP area looks nice and I'd be interested in splurging next time for a seat and a better view. There's bars downstairs and upstairs and even some food concessions. Getting out of the venue from the balcony was a bit stressful with only one way out. It makes you imagine what would happen if you needed to get out in a rush... other than that, it's a good space.

The rooftop and open-air area is so nice and gives you the perfect place to hang out, catch a little air, and still feel part of the energy, which feels like a very strong social advantage. The drinks here are seriously so good. I always go for a crush, usually grapefruit, while my husband reliably orders the porn star martini, and both are excellent. The orange crush is also great, but the grapefruit is probably my favorite. The fact that they fresh squeeze the juice right at the bar is kind of crazy and honestly feels pretty unique in the District. As for the porn star martini, it is insanely good, and the alcoholic passion fruit foam takes it completely over the top in the best way. The bartenders are incredible and so kind, which always makes a place stand out more, and the music is always great. They also have frequent live DJs in house, which keeps the vibe fun and does a great job of highlighting local talent. Every time I have been, it has been a really great time from start to finish. Overall, Crush is the kind of place that makes it very easy to stay for one more drink and a little longer than planned. I will absolutely keep coming back.

What ruined the night was the inconsistent treatment by the GM, Aiden (pictured in the white t-shirt and jeans). I went upstairs because multiple patrons were actively smoking, making it seem like a designated smoking area. After I lit my cigarette, Aiden immediately took it from me and later told me it had been thrown away because smoking was against policy. The problem wasn't the policy--it was the selective enforcement. When I pointed out that several other people were still smoking directly beneath a clearly visible "No Smoking" sign (see photo), nothing was said to them. If it's truly the policy, enforce it equally. Don't single out one customer while ignoring everyone else. A polite request to put it out would have been sufficient. Instead, my cigarette was taken and discarded, which came across as rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Great event, but poor management and inconsistent enforcement left a bad impression.
