I called and spoke to Sheri and she walked me through the process. Unfortunately I did not qualify the first time (4 months ago), and she said she would keep my application till September so I could apply again. I honestly totally forgot about it and Sheri sent me an email asking me if I would like to try again. Of course I said yes and this time i did. Sheri walked me through the process and had an answer for me within 12hrs. She explained to me what I needed and that I could email or fax it over since my work schedule is hectic. I went today and signed the papers to refinance my motorcycle. She also informed me that I qualified for a higher cash back percentage. I was more than pleased. The whole process took about 30min to sign all the paperwork and get my account set up. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. She also offered to write the credit bureaus to help me get rid of some of the things that were showing on my report from years ago that i settled and hadnt come off yet. The rest of the staff there was awesome. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to open an account or refinance anything.

This bank has a limited number of parking spaces. On a Saturday morning, it was pretty quiet, so parking was not an issue. The ATM is outside the branch. My review is based on this experience. I never stepped foot in the branch. The ATM is clean. There is a garbage bin to the right of the ATM, which was highly convenient if you get your statement balance printed out and don't know what to do with it. I have a Tangerine bank card. In the past, you could use any U.S. Bank ATM and the transaction was free. Unfortunately, it's no longer the case. I took out money and had a $2 CAD fee slapped on. It's not bad, but free is always better. I had a good experience here, probably because it was quiet and I didn't have to deal with people on a Saturday morning. (389)

The level of stupidity of these people is beyond me! And might I add I have NEVER wrote a review like this. But thanks to a global pandemic here we are. I signed a piece of paper to help skip a payment last month. And I assumed that it was for 3 months like our credit cards and mortgage payments etc. However I get a past due in the mail. No it wasn't for much, but I was still extremely confused. I called, actually got the person on the phone that was on the letter and she said I needed to talk to another person because they handled the application for skipping a payment during the pandemic. Well she said that she was on the phone and to leave her a message. I did this on May 8th. I didnt hear anything back so I figured they shorted it all out because they are known for mistakes like these. Well I just received a phone call asking me for a payment. I stated that I left a message and I was told they were short staffed. But yet you're calling me back? She proceeded to say that I haven't made a payment since January but yet the past due is forty something??!! My payments are around $130 a month, so can you explain to me why my payment you're sending me is past due is only forty some dollars and you're telling me over the phone that I haven't made a payment since January??!! These are the kinds of things I deal with ALL the time. The incompetence is so surreal to me. I asked why did I sign that paper then for help during the pandemic and for not reporting to the credit bureau's, she then stated we have no authority on reporting the the bureau's. I'm sorry, so why does the mortgage, utilities, and credit cards have that authority?! And why does this piece of paper I have state differently from THE MEDINA COUNTY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?! The women proceeds to ask you can you make a partial payment?! Like I'm a magician and I can make it appear?! Maybe they have people that lie to them, I dont know. Like if she says over and over again I'm going to give in or something?! All I know is I would rather let this loan and my credit go then deal such incompetence. And my husband said maybe I should talk to a manager. SHE WAS A MANAGER!!! And all these 5 stars I dont believe are actually customers. DO NOT GO HERE. They will harrass you and not even give you the correct information!!!

Beware! I had an appt to meet for 2025 taxes. No one there. No notice. Next day or so spoke with…read moreoffice, rescheduled, some personal issue on Stephen's part (with no notice to clients and/or staff). Since I was kind of stuck I tried again and met with Stephens. I submitted Rita and paid Rita. I paid IRS via voucher. Stephens was to submit IRS and Ohio taxes electronically. I am due a refund from Ohio. Weeks went by. No refund rec'd. Called office, answering person said "Oops, we forgot to call you we need..." I had submitted that info on their secure email but sent again. Called 5 weeks later and spoke with Stephen, the accountant, he confirmed it was actually sent in (call on5/5/26). Still no refund. CAlled Ohio tax agency, they confirmed they have received nothing. Calling Stephens tax office trying to get the confirmation number IRS and Ohio were submitted...no answer. Now I am trying to call IRS to see if the 1040 was ever submitted and this is my worst nightmare. I have never encountered this level of sloppiness ie misconduct.

They have called if there were ever a strange transaction come by and we never had a problem with anything. The downsides to this bank is that there is only one location, it is savings account only, there is no debit card, you still use a bank book, and the hours of operation are even less than other banks. While they have the best people working there (reason they get 4 stars), the bank itself is inconvenient for most people. It is great for older persons that bank like the old days, but the younger generations are probably confused.
