Of course the estimate was more than $2000 more than what the guy told us in person it would be when he came out. If they are this bad before they've even taken money for services, I can only imagine how bad the actual service must be.

I called and Alex picked up immediately. Very polite on the phone and booked an appointment with him in two days. Alex arrived early, did a walk around the entire house, told me there were 2 additional areas that needed repair, he walked me outside and showed me the areas. I was sort of sick about additional areas that needed to be replaced but frankly I could see it and of course I didn't want rain water entering the house so I appreciated his keen eye on my issues. I also had a xeriscape rain barrel that I wanted hooked up to a downspout. This was done Tuesday (excellent job and added height to it to allow for better flow, innovative!) and today Thursday the main work was done and in a tidy manner and it looks great. Alex went up on the roof the first visit and took numerous pictures, diagnosed nails and missing shingles. This was awesome to show my husband all the pictures (roof is about 30 feet high and peaked so we cannot access). I highly recommend Alex and Charlotte Pro Roofing and the employees he had at my home working here (he supervised the entire job). Very professional, tidy, respectful of my questions. I hired Mark Kinney…read morePlumbing Heating & Air to simply install a new HVAC system in my brand new home with all of the ductwork already ran. In all of my 40 years working in mechanical engineer field, and building houses, I've NEVER had a contractor this bad. First off, I told him what my budget was, and he said he thought he could do it for that. When he "almost" finished (he ever finished) the installation, he handed me a bill that was MORE than double what we agree on. But given the time he spent, I didn't argue with it, I paid it. When we cranked the system up, it started blowing hot air even when the cooling was on. That told me the emergency heat strip was on. My $280 electric bill for 4 days running also confirmed this, and we had not yet moved into the house. He wired it wrong! Heat strips running 24/7 has burned more than one house down, not to mention the four digit electric bill's you'll get. Now the lies start - I ask him to come out and correct it. He said that he would, and said he would be out Saturday morning. He texted me and told me he had an emergency job he had to take care of, and I understood. The next week, he said he would be out on Saturday. Saturday comes, and he texted me and said he had another emergency. The following week, he said Saturday, and a no show. Two weeks later he said he would be out Saturday, he texted me saying he had an emergency and would get back to me. The problem is he kept having the same exact emergency with the same client, and even said that THAT client was more important than I was. This last exchange was Oct. 14th, and as I write this, it's March 23rd, over 6-months! He also admitted he broke the TXV valve, so he knew of this issue as well. Totally Trashy - Mr. Kinney also decided to clean his work van out since I wasn't around that day, and throw the trash in half of a bay in my garage for my wife and I to pick up. In the three foot pile of thash, was over two cases of Miller Lite beer cans (DUI???), over a carton worth of cigarette butts (he constantly smokes), rancid food, parts from toilets, insulation, metal duct, pieces of broken used sewer pipe, oil, and who knows what else was in all of that. There was so much trash that it filled four 55-gallon contractor trash bags. Oil and liquid from the food bags, beer, etc. penetrated the concrete, and the smell is still there to this day, and we can't get it out. I will be filing a complaint with the South Carolina licensing board against him, and my attorney has been made aware of this as well. I've had to hire another contractor and will be seeking reimbursement for the new contracto's services. And if necessary, legal fees. -Jeff Cox

I called him and he picked up right away. He answered all of my concerns about the type of disposal I currently had and what I needed. I told him I'd call him back once I got my spouses opinion on what to do next. Next thing I know, Mark texts me back after i sent him pics of my current plumbing issue and he tells me upfront possible cost of the item, how long it may take for the install and removal, and cost for labor. Even though I decided I wanted to attempt to install it myself later on during the day, there were no hard feelings and he remained professional and informative throughout our interactions. I have his phone number saved for future plumbing needs. I appreciate his patience with me and I would recommend him to anyone.

We texted & called them to help & they said it would be $3400 to repair it. We posted a negative review & they offered to fix it as they wanted our review to go away. We appreciate them agreeing to fix it at no cost but then their top roofer didn't fix it properly (see video). The owner assured us the job was done right this time but we learned in conversations they did not put flashing on our roof & didn't repair any with the new roof either. Two months after the attempted repair the leaking got worse so we contacted other contractors to assess & learned they just piled up sealant & added a screw (see video). Now we have to pay $6500 to repair it. Mike McNally is ignoring my calls as is his son. We selected them over another roofer & we regret it. No flashing. Just slapping down shingles. Ridiculous. Incompetent. Nice people but this is wrong.
