This was our first time here and this pumpkin patch has it all. Corn maze, slide, hay ride, train ride, zip line, petting zoo and many more attractions. The new Dino Ranch attraction is spectacular and full of animatronics. The lines move very fast.The huge barn is very beautiful and full of pumpkins. Plenty of seating and food available. The kettle corn you can smell it throughout most of the place. I would say this pumpkin patch is similar in size to the ones you would find in Half Moon Bay only this one is nicer and more organized and the best part only 15 minutes away from home. Ignore the 1 star reviews and go see for yourself. We almost didn't visit because of the negative reviews. If you are expecting the red carpet dignitary treatment then you will be disappointed. I found the staff to be very friendly. Lots of workers and the place is kept up very well and very clean. Also plenty of restrooms so there was no lines to use them. Lots of spots for pictures throughout. Pricing is very reasonable and lower than other pumpkin patches that have similar attractions. The only thing different we would have done is h on purchased the season pass. One day pass was $20 and the season pass is $40. The only reason we didn't buy it was because of the bad reviews and we had never been here before. You will not be disappointed! read more

By far this is the most well cared for and cleanest pumpkin patch we've ever been to. They have lots of activities for the kids to do, a few things that the adults can join in and a big shaded eating area with a snack bar selling your average kid friendly food (corndogs, hot dogs, nachos..) but they also allow you to bring in your own snacks, food and non-alcoholic drinks if you want to save some money. There is also a lot of picture spots around the whole facility for that perfect pic of the kids or your family. They are well staffed with a lot of them walking around so it's easy to ask questions or get help if needed. It's $19/person for single day entry but they do have a $36 season pass if you live close by. They are also an almond farm and use the almond shells as ground cover in some places, so that's something to consider if you have someone in your party that has a nut allergy or sensitivity. read more

I have been to pumpkin patches all across Northern California and I have never seen the high addition prices like here. We didn't even get through the door because we were not paying those prices. It's ridiculous to do this because if I went through the door for free I would have spent at least 100 dollars. Let us pick what we want to buy and charge for parking and we would have paid more than 19 per person just to get in. The thing is people are paying these crazy prices so maybe they are doing what they need to do to stay open. read more

Visited in October during a Saturday, and it wasn't too crowded due to the heat luckily. There's plenty of parking too. You must sign a waiver for your child to jump on the bounce pillow. The mining bag is also extra, but she loved the cool rocks you get to keep. We rode the rides several times, so there's enough to do. They also have a big maze- we didn't try it as we've gotten lost in one before, but I had seen people exit through the entrance so it must be fun lol. The food is your basic hotdogs, nachos...but you must try the lemonade and regular kettle popcorn. They were soo good and I saw them bagging it there, so it's fresh. There's also plenty of shaded benches to eat and rest. For restrooms, it is porta potties, but they have 2 of the bigger ones and enough hand washing stations. This venue is such a special seasonal activity for the Atwater community and Central Valley. I so enjoyed my visit and seeing families enjoy the grounds. Great pumpkin patch, they've got something for everyone here. Tractor ride, hay ride, bouncey pillows, corn maze, zip lines, giant slide, cannon blasters, and mini go cart raceway. Oh and mining. Not crowded, there is an entrance fee, but worth it. $15 special today per person for Halloween. They sell assorted pumpkins here and some carnival type food. The workers are super nice, there's a place to eat and you can bring in outside food too. There is a petting zoo with goats and sheep. You can feed the animals too. On September 27, I overheard one of your employees yelling at a customer. Your employee, Armando, seems to be around 15-16, dark skin, a bowl cut hairstyle and was harassing a girl near the toilets and food aisle. The young man seemed to almost hit the girl with a broom and kept harassing her. This was extremely unprofessional and seems like your farm has a constant trend of bad employees. I am disappointed and will not come back if I am met with constant bad service. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. In the corn maze, there was a group of kids throwing corn around and making the service employees go around looking for them. I went through with my family and we all made it through but my brother got lost so I did the responsible thing and went back to help him find the exit so we could move on to the tractor race track. As I exited with my brothers, two employees, a older looking man and a younger employee that looked to be about 6 feet tall with blonde hair, started going off on me and my brothers, accusing us of throwing the corn in the maze. I talked back to him but he did not seem to understand that it wasn't us, and when I asked if there was cameras he said no and it was just a guess that it was us. The fact that we have to deal with the situation and harassment from an employee simply because they can't do their job correctly is very disturbing and should not be acceptable. I understand that they cannot control what others do but they should, at minimum, have either cameras or a tower in the center of the corn-maze so they can see who is causing disturbances, and escort them out properly. Me being very young, and having to explain myself never would have had happened if they did their job properly. I am still disturbed and disappointed in this place and I hope myself and many others never come back here, and for those who do, I hope they never have to deal with frustrating situations like this due to employee negligence. Side note: they even kept looking when we exited the maze and didn't even apologize for confronting me after they knew it was wrong and we didn't do it even though we were standing by the ride right next to it. read more

One of the best pumpkin patches we have been to in the 209. Our group had a great time and we spent over 5 hours in there. There is so much entertainment for the kids and photo opportunities to take. It might seem pricey at first but after all the rides and games for the kids it is definitely worth it! We have spent more money at other pumpkin patches because they charge per ride but not here. So the wife wanted to come here with the kids. When we got there, the line was a bit long. The cashiers were fast and the wait was not long. This place offers discounts to military and law enforcement and others. Pretty cool how they give back to their military and first responders. The attractions for the area was ok. They had a couple tractor rides, a slide, shooting game, zip line and a jumping pillow. Oh, they had a petting zoo. This attraction should be eliminated. A couple of goats. Not much of a zoo. They offer a snack bar. Some prices were good and some were not. For example. Bottle of water for a buck isn't bad. Now two bucks for a Costco brand fruit snack? I'm talking about the little pouch with maybe 8 pieces of fruit snack. Now that right there is ridiculous. The kids had fun with the limited attractions. Our town needed a pumpkin patch like this and I'm so happy to be able to bring my kids here every year. Easy accessible for anyone, they just put in cement for wheelchairs and strollers and I love that. They continue to do events and school field trips and that is just amazing. Please be aware of false advertising! They have a sales sign that states mini pumpkins for $1.25 each or 10 for $10. However, they will charge $2 each at register if you attempt to purchase just one mini pumpkin with cash. They state "we don't give change and round up the transaction". I purchased 2 mini pumpkins and gave $20. I was handed back $17 and the clerk stated we don't give change. I didn't argue with her because it's clearly not her policy. I did make a complaint to the owner Scott and he did refund me $.50 but was rude and stated "just for the record, we do round up". He said this as I was leaving the ticket booth in a matter of fact tone. Additionally, they charge more for gate entrance this year than last and have fewer attractions. read more

Most workers are very rude! Also they tend to over charge in the way they "measure" smaller children. Their prices say that 30" and up pay $15. However my child is well under 30 inches (had just gotten her measured 3xs that week) and when I mentioned it I was rudely shutdown. $15 is not a lot and I paid it, but they are potentially scamming people hundreds of dollars with this little trick! Other than that it's an okay experience, not much to do for toddles compare to other, but I'd definitely recommend driving a little further to a better pumpkin patch. read more

We came to this pumpkin patch yesterday for my little sisters 4th birthday. My little sister is disabled and cannot stand or walk or really do anything on her own without our assistance. When we got there the lady at the ticket booth said they needed to measure her height to see what to charge her. My whole family then started taking turns saying "she's special needs" "she can't walk or stand on her own" "she's disabled". It apparently didn't matter because she kept telling us we needed to take her out of her stroller and measure her height. Almost like they didn't believe us when we said she was disabled. So my mom took her out of the stroller and tried to stand her upright by the height measure and before my mom could even measure her height the lady saw we were struggling because she's pretty heavy and said "okay she's good". Like ??? Why would you make us take a disabled person out and measure her height when she's going to stay in the stroller the whole time? And then proceeded to charge my little four year old disabled sister $15 for entry (since she was under the height requirement) and the rest of us $17. Why would you charge someone disabled when they are only able to go on maybe two tractor rides. She sat in the shade in her stroller with my step dad for most of the time because it was extremely hot and close to nothing for her to do. They are not handicap friendly at all and honestly I thought it was pretty rude for them to make us try to measure her height when (like I've already stated) she can't stand or walk. We stayed for maybe an hour and a half and that was because we were trying to get our monies worth. Mostly just took pictures and left. She had a better birthday once we got home than she did at the farm. Management needs to be more inclusive and inviting to people with disabilities. They really did the bare minimum to give us a fun experience. read more

I went to Hunter this past weekend. There were bees galore, my five year old was terrified the whole time. I ended up getting stung while waiting for her on the zip line. Luckily I'm not allergic, although two days later it's still sore. While trying to feed my four month old, there were bees crawling on her. And I went away from all the food and sugar they were swarming specifically to feed her. It just was not an enjoyable time this year. Something has changed, I've gone the past six years in a row. It was the first time I took my daughter to the pumpkin patch and was expecting a way better experience. My daughter is 3 years old and was forced to put on a mask so she can jump with the other kids. Immediately after, a family all wearing MAGA hats, sat their kids to be next to jump. None of them wearing masks, the kids or the parents. I saw this as discrimination. As I looked around I saw more and more Trump supporters not wearing masks. No one enforces the rules on them but one afro-Latina girl doesn't wear a mask and she can't use the park activities. I'm giving one star for being inconsiderate. I was in line for the Barnyard Bounce yesterday with my 5 & 3 year old. Rules are kids must wear socks. My kids didn't have socks on. So I asked the guy in charge and he's like no problem we have socks for sale when it's your turn to bounce. After around 30 minutes in line, we were up next. Turns out they only accepted cash and I had none. Then an older tall man with an American flag gaiter on, whom to me looked like the owner of the ranch, was there monitoring things, I Told him that I had no cash for the rental socks for my kids. He was so inconsiderate and insisted that rules are rules and that my kids couldn't jump Without socks. They had their masks on but no socks! Will you pretty much had to leave after spending 30 or more minutes in line with two kids who are very impatient. Lovely and generous mother overheard my conversation and she gave me a $4 so I can rent two pair of socks for my kids. Because of her my kids enjoyed their bounce moment. The man in charge was so inconsiderate and should have let my kids use their socks for free. read more

Here's why we won't be back. They charge $15 for a 1 year old baby because he is 30". As a business, not sure why their logic justifies charging FULL PRICE for a toddler when he is not tall enough to ride ALL of the rides. You must be 36" to ride the slide, there are only a handful of attractions, so not being able to partake in ONE because of the height requirement, should be a clear indicator to reflect a price that compliments this. They're also charging a ridiculous amount of money for mediocre food. $4 for "nachos," which were really just cheap lunchable type of chips and a squirt of cold nacho cheese ON THE SIDE. It was Chips N' Dip, not nachos! Lol. Anyways, the one tractor ride was cool, I guess and it could be cute and enjoyable if they had better management. We will spend the rest of our holiday season checking out some other farms that are more family oriented, not money motivated. read more

Took my toddler, we were waiting in line for the jump bounce thing they have. We were waiting in line for a good 15-20 mins. When it was our turn to go they stopped asked to ask if my TWO year old son had a mask that he needed a mask in order to jump. Um first of all he is a TODDLER. Who doesn't like to wear one as much as we try. What pissed me off is we literally watched kids jump prior to us jump without one. (I was so confused because they pulled a girl behind us who wasn't wearing one if she wanted to jump I assume because she was by herself? But so was my son) There are NO signs anywhere near or noticeable that a mask is needed in order to be able to jump. Also we rode other rides before without one. No problem. They could of at least warned us before hand that he needed a mask instead of wasting our time. I tried telling the lady & man that he is 2 years old & doesn't keep it on. I also tried telling them about the kids prior & the lady really tried to say well maybe they had medical exemptions like WHAT?! All 10 kids had medical exemptions?! They literally turned down an excited 2 year old because of a mask. I walked out of there SO pissed & sick to my stomach because it was such a waste of time but more because they turned down my son.
