They sell purses, scarves and belts as well but I'm all about the jewelry. When it comes to cool jewelry stores, I have found Atlanta to be something of a vast desert but Etc East is definitely an oasis. I think the main reason I love them is because they have Cathy Waterman jewelry live and in person. They carry different styles so there is something for everyone. I've seen a few pieces sold there that are also in the Sundance catalog but it's definitely not all that same style. Although I am all about the pretty sparkly jewelry I was also excited to see a Tylie Malibu purse there. I just wish they would carry their wrist cuffs as well. The sales people are very nice and friendly and seem to love the stuff too. They're great about inviting you to play and try things on without a lot of pressure. Prices range from low enough for the occasional treat to ouch (but so worth the pain). If I could ask for anything more from them it would just be more. It's not a very big store!

The feeling of that famous scene of Pretty woman, with her first retail shopping experience. THIS is what the luxury industry has been fighting against these days: appearances and sales. It is not the mask that was a barrier. It is not wanting to sale and do the work properly: contact with the client, small talk, questions, advice, and even if the client do not buy today give him the opportunity to remember you, and buy from you another time. I found a dress, they had It in 6 and 8. First person told me : we do not have your size. I have no complex being a 12 . The answer and voice was not inviting. A good sales person would have 1 / we can try it on and order it for you 2 / we have this new model in your size blah blah ... The answer was robotic, judging me up and down. My fault I came in with no rings , just my credit, card, my Bartaco order in hand, no make up, no signs of superficiality. I GUESS I was not a good target. RETAIL team did not bet on me to be able to fall in love and buy something right away. I left the store, and found online that saks, bergdoff and TIBI had had my size available of the popeline dress. I Went again back to the store, I live upstairs , I asked to try it anyway, figured out I needed a 10. Went back to purchased it at $278 instead of the store $349 the brand had it in finale sale, got my dress today! I am grateful to the store, I have discover a designer I did not know about. I mainly shop in small businesses for one reason SERVICE.
