I chose a chef salad, which was a perfect mixture of all ingredients. Not your typical salad, which is usually mostly lettuce. I also had cheese curds, which were homemade. So delicious! My husband had a bowl of chicken enchilada soup, which was very hearty. He also had a sub that was piled high with ingredients and sauce. Both of our meals came with half loaves of garlic bread. So yummy! The two fellas working both had a chill vibe and were perfect for the relaxed atmosphere for our lunch. Can't wait to come back! And next time we will get the cheesecake! They will not be changing the original menu items as they will continue to be made the way they always have been. The new owners do have plans to upgrade the interior and decor as well as possibly expanding their business footprint in the State of Michigan. There are sooooo many great tasting food items at Fenton Deli, it can be challenging to make a decision. After some time of deliberating on what to order, we decided to go with the medium Sasquach on jalapeño roll - lamb, corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, jalapeño chees spread, swiss cheese, bacon, garlic mayo, deli mustard, and chipotle mustard. We also added lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion (on her half), banana peppers, and dill pickles. Unfortunately no sweet hotties... We ended up just splitting our meal which was a good idea because the meal was enormous. We still had to get a to go box to take our leftovers. He was awesome, he shared some of his travel stories with us and then he brought us over some of their chicken strips (which we had to take home with us. We were so full). We tried him once we got home and they were once again amazing just like everything else that we had for dinner that night.
