I wanted to try the pork chops but they were out, so I got the rib tips with gumbo greens and dressing for the sides. My dad got the same, and my mom got the fried catfish with yams and turnip greens for her sides. I thought the rib tips were good and I would order them again. The dressing was just "okay" and unfortunately I bit into a large chunk of fat from the turkey meat in the dressing so that didn't help. The real star was the gumbo greens. My dad was also not a fan of the dressing, but he said he would have gotten the gumbo greens for both his sides if he had known how good they were. My mom enjoyed her food as well as the strawberry crunch cake I suggested she get. I am not sure if I missed it my first visit, but when my order was being rung up I noticed a cash and non-cash price flash on the screen. I did not see any signage on the door about the extra fee for paying by card, and the cashier did not mention it. That is such a big pet peeve for me. Had I known in advance, I would have come prepared to pay with cash. I am sure I will return again, but restaurants really need to be transparent about these excess fees.

I liked the hot Cheetos one the best, but all of them were good. I think they could have more sauces that are specific to the flavor, but the sauces they have now are still decent. The restaurant is clean and has a calming atmosphere. The staff here are super nice and very helpful in helping you explore the menu.

We arrived and ordered on the Popeyes App around 11:00 am. so we thought, after breakfast times we will get nice and hot food. I ordered Popeyes classic chicken sandwich before in North Carolina so I know how deliciously outstanding it is supposed to look and taste. The super smothered in Mayonnaise sandwich I received was not crispy to perfection that I am used to, the brioche bun was not perfectly warmed or lively looking/buttered up, it was COLD. Like it was directly taken out of the bag or refrigerator then onto the chicken. Nonetheless, I took a bite of the sandwich and the mayonnaise squirted a quarter sized stain onto my shirt. Hopefully, I can get the greased stain out. Both of our fries were lukewarm. The only thing we probably should have ordered was the coleslaw, It tasted surprisingly good.
