I had Bombas for the first time tonight. I ordered the rib tips, or rather I should say rib bone, fat, and gristle. There was hardly any edible meat. I got mac and cheese which was far from cheesey. The coleslaw was dry for lack of a better term. The street corn was way too cheesey. I've had street corn before and this tasted way off. My buddy got the burnt end fries. Those were good. He got his money's worth with those. I feel like I got ripped off. I hate to say that the only way I would eat there again would be if I were to be compensated for my crummy meal. read more

Upon entry, we were salivating. It smells so AMAZING in here! Husband had a Pavlovian response when I mentioned brisket on the menu. We wanted to try it ALL...so we went with the burritos to start. He ordered their Bomba Bull (brisket, rice, pinto beans, roasted peppers, salsa verde, sour cream and Monterey jack cheese) which was OUTSTANDING! I ordered the Free Ranger (chopped chicken, rice, black and pinto beans, Pico, sour cream and Monterey jack cheese) which was also AMAZING! The fries were so salty I felt my ankles swell from eating just one, lol The macaroni was so bland I swear didn't have cheese and their coleslaw was as bland. Overall for the price I was expecting better. The service was ok and the eating area was comfy and clean. Did place a call to them but the "Cashier" wasn't much help and apparently the manager was working and was to busy to come to phone. I consider myself a "rib-snob" and am very critical on ribs. First off, I do not like them slathered and buried in sauce. I like to taste the meat and the seasonings that is on them.. Bomba's hit a home run here. The dry rub on these ribs is phenomenal. While I will not name the names of other competitors, why would you go there after having these? Ribs were tender & sweet sauce was tasty, but zero smoky flavor that I look for with BBQ. Brisket was tender, again zero smoky flavor. Mexican street corn was good. Greens were not seasoned & had the big stems in them, they had kick but no flavor. I want to like it, just not what I think of when I want the smoky BBQ flavor with delicious sides. read more

We walked in at 3:30pm with low expectations and left full and highly satisfied with our late lunch. We ordered their specials for the day: Nachos with pulled pork and Burnt end fries, paid $28 for all including two drinks. The portions were huge!!! And by that I meant enough for a family of 4 maybe? Perfect bbq sweetness and crunchy moist fries and burnt ends. So worth the stop for us! Friendly staff, clean tables and restroom, too. They didn't ask for tip when I paid but I felt obliged to leave cash in the tip jar because we were highly satisfied. read more

I'm so glad I did. it was awesome. definitely adding them as one of my favorites. everything was homemade and oh so good. even the fries were cooked perfect. so many times I've had bbq and it is just same old stuff. not at bombas. everything was just perfect from the sauces to the meat.
