The food has been good each time I visit. I've been to the location on Spring Rd & Barrett Pkwy. Elli, Amiyah & Zaria were pleasant.

Decided to try this place after seeing the parking lot full all the time. The parking lot is shared with a gas station and there are cones to indicate where you can park. It was full when I got there do I had to wait about 3 minutes. There's security at the door, I'm assuming for the parking situation and crowd control. The inside is standard with a few tables and window seating. Majority of the space is taken up by the line, there are seats for those waiting for food. When it comes to the food I would say to call the rice hibachi would be a stretch. I will mirror the sentiments of other diners that say it is more like a fried rice. The rice has an interesting, sweet, soy binder that I wasn't expecting, considering it was supposed to be hibachi. The add ins were corn, peas, and carrots like standard fried rice. The salmon portion was fair for the $22 price tag however, my salmon was overcooked. Because it was hibachi I was expecting to get some type of Yum Yum sauce or white sauce. The sauce that they offer you is prepackaged Ken's bang bang sauce that is spicy. If you are looking for actual hibachi, this will leave a lot to be desired. It did not taste bad I would say it was average. I also got a drink that was called the Candler road. It didn't have much of a flavor profile it was just sweet. I can't say that I will be back but it's good to try a local place. read more

I noticed this location when stopping at the mall and made note to go next time I was in the area. I popped in, lucky enough to get a parking spot up front. There was a line inside, which gave me enough time to study the menu. Wings, Hibachi, and pasta. More than enough variety to satiate the pickiest eater. The prices were up there, but I was ready to chance it. I decided to go with rasta Pasta and shrimp. Come to find out, the people in front of me were waiting for orders, not placing them. I went right to the front. Plenty of finished orders were on the counter as people called ahead. I ordered and took a seat by the window. Plates flew out of the kitchen and I had maybe 12 minutes before my name was called. They opened the tray so I could confirm it was mine and packed it up. Traffic was insane that night, and it took me close to an hour to get home in what was a normal 20 minutes. I was thinking about using the microwave, but the food was still nicely warm. I took my first bites, and swear I had shrimp in every forkful. Amazing flavor and the Caribbean heat began to kick in. I couldn't complain about the price because they gave a portion large enough for two meals. I guess I wasn't hungry as I thought, because I saved the second half for lunch the next day. My son wanted to try it for his birthday. The staff was a -one. The place is defiantly local and welcoming. It gives an around the way vibe-which I loved. What just made me go 3 was only cause the price for the food I got just felt over priced. It's got dope names and knows how you like your stuff. He ordered the hungry as a MF which came with wings and pasta and I ordered the Dolo which was wings and hibachi rice. The rice didn't come with any hibachi/yum sauce and I'm not sure if you had to ask for that separately but without it, it actually just tasted like shrimp fried rice for me. It was just missing something. The wings were good though. The sauce and flavor was pretty good, I had the trey young flavor which is honey garlic and lemon pepper. I do wish they were cooked a little harder, but that is just my preference and not necessarily against them as I'm sure you can order it that way. This place gets so busy and it's packed. Parking is tight as it's shared with the gas station and there will be a wait for the food so take the into consideration before going. The staff was nice and helpful with answering questions about the menu even considering they had a long line to deal with. I definitely see what all the hype is about, the food is amazing though I only took 1 photo of the food we had the Mike Vick wings, Salmon Pasta (I recommend extra sauce) and the Salmon Philly with Hibachi Rice. Everything about this place is great except the parking. They definitely need their own area because they share a spot with a few other stores and a gas station. The food portion is great, definitely as advertised and you could probably share their pasta amongst two people. Disappointed that you can't call in and place an order especially when I called in like three times using the number I found on Google and every time it just rang and rang. I called in the first time at 11:03 AM which is shortly after they opened, and when I walked in the lady was at the counter by herself with no customer in front of her, and there was only three customers in the restaurant. I asked the young lady at the counter, was very polite by the way, if there is another number that you're supposed to be calling into place your order and she said you have to order through Uber eats for pick up if that's what you Want to do. Which is honestly a poor solution because they up charge $4 extra when you order on Uber eats for the same dish that I just got in person. This is not OK when this is your only solution for a pick up order. However, a pleasant surprise was that I placed my order and only had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes to get my food so it was pretty quick. But still unfortunate because you have to pay to park and I probably could've avoided that had I placed my order in advance. Now onto the quality of the food I would give the pasta probably like a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. I got the chicken pasta with extra Alfredo and I will say their Alfredo is very thin. As you can see on my receipt, it was after 9 when I went, but the food and customer service was definitely still good. The Mike Vicks were the best ones, in my opinion. The Candler Rd drink ... So let's get into this review , A co worker of mine recommended this place and another foodie reviewer on Instagram was talking about this place so i decided to try it out since i was feeling for something different than fast food. I got there and went inside for a menu since i really didn't see to much on instagram or Yelp , but they didn't have a actual hand menu so i took a picture of what was on the board in the restaurant and i headed back to my car so i can order , but then the phone number on the website was calling another company instead of them so i had to go back in to place the order which now it was a line, I wait about 6 minutes in line and about 12-15 minutes for the food to be ready so that's not to bad of a wait time. The restaurant had a security hence i guess because of the area and then again it's also a black own business safety first . They had tables and chairs if you wanted to eat inside as well . The decor was writing all over the walls which I believe it was artist from Atlanta plus the food options of the drinks or wing flavors which looked like a combo of some Atlanta areas , streets and rap artists. Now for the food we had the hibachi chicken fried rice and honey lemon pepper wings which I believe it was called the dolo special and we also had the hungry af combo which had chicken pasta and wings which i had honey hot Which was all fresh plus both meals came with a drink. My over all score is a 5/10 for the restaurant Food 5/10 The pasta sauce was good a little spicy but the chicken was chewy 4/10 The hibachi rice was good but the chicken was also chewy and cut thick 5/10 Cost not pricey but a little bit up there for some wings That kinda size The wing flavor my bd said nothing about his was lemon pepper and mine was honey honey hot it was ok. The food looked great on the review and I was in the area on Sunday so I decided to give it a try. It was fairly busy for a Sunday afternoon at 2PM, maybe 5 people waiting in the lobby and the line started to form after me. I had a few orders to make for some friends and I since they do not take call in orders. To my surprise, everything we wanted was out? Which is confusing being that they just opened at 12PM...I wanted to order the "King of Gresham" but they were out of hoagie bread and it would be 10-15 minutes before they got more. Next, I tried to order the salmon pasta and a salmon bowl...BOTH of which they were out of; no salmon and no bowls. OK, I moved on to order wings only to find out they were out of mumbo sauce and they don't do all flats... At this point I'm frustrated. Eventually we all had to settle for way different meals. We got 2 orders of 15 piece wings with various flavors (thankfully they let us do this); honey lemon pepper, honey ranch, mild bbq, plain, and honey hot bbq. The wings LITERALLY saved them! The honey ranch and honey lemon pepper was everyone's favorite. We also tried the fried rice...please take this off the menu until it is perfected bc what is this??? (SEE IMAGE). We had two orders of the chicken pasta and it was just OK. The first bite was great, but the second and third bites, it lost its flavor and seemed to get watery. The 285 drink was delicious! This location is in a shell gas station parking lot: very confusing and frustrating, because you don't know where to really park. The service is cool, but hood. They got some young girls running the cash register. But make sure you keep your receipt because that's the only way you will get your food. I was careless once and I had to dig for my receipt and it was a frustrating experience because you seen me order the food and now some guy from the back haggling me about my order. Parking at this location is extremely difficult as it is a very popular location. I ordered the chicken Alfredo wings with pasta and was blown away! everything taste so fresh like it was prepared when ordered. The sauce the perfect consistency as well as being seasoned to perfection! It was a little pricey, but well worth every penny, and they also had nice portions. The service was excellent as we were greeted with high energy and big smiles on all the employees, including the security guard at the front door, who made sure that he opened the door for you when you arrived, and when you left! I stumbled on Hungry AF as an option and the name alone sounds like a great choice. They offer wings, pasta, hibachi rice and fries. I decided to try the solo special which comes with wings (your choice of sauce) and I chose hot honey. The special comes with hibachi rice but you get a choice of chicken or shrimp and I choose the shrimp. Overall, the wings were tasty and crispy (asked for extra crispy) but the rice missed the mark because it was a bit too grainy for me. It has good flavor and you get some mixed vegetables and the shrimp is tasty. But I'm not a fan of the rice. You also get a selection of drinks to choose from and I went with the peach drink. The peach drink is absolutely delicious and I would recommend it. I definitely think this is a good spot but I would try the pasta next time though. read more

Nice that this is on the east side. This eatery reminds me of Wings on Wheat. Same gas station complex/lot set up, similar offerings. They are basically one to one competitors the only major difference is these businesses are cities/zones/miles/light years away from each other. I would even compare this wing spot to Lit Ass Wings, also similar offerings and options on the east side. I wanted to try this out. I have no intention of returning though. From the time you turn into the Shell gas station parking lot it's chaos. The area they have designated to park is full, like a club on Friday night. They have security regulating outside which threw me off. I had to wait for someone to leave to safely park off to the side of the gas station. When you walk in, there are 25-30 guests sitting around with receipts in their hand waiting on orders, which for me, the way my time is set up, that's a big no. There's a line of people waiting to order as well that haven't been served yet, and they are yelling names out loud for ready to pick up orders. I ordered something small and quick just to try it, Kool Wiz-ranch honey flavor, and it came with fries. For one, if this is your system, get an intercom setup and call names out over the loud speaker. Next, use order numbers not names! I can't tell how many times during my wait time the were like "James?! James! I have two James' order ready". Or "Brittany! Brittany!" And 4 Brittany's walk up and they have to slow down and go through each of the receipts to make sure they are giving the right order to the right person vs. starting each day at number 1. No repetition, no confusion, should be faster. I did not have any of the pasta options which were buy one get one, of course I went for the first time on Tuesday Specials day! I didn't know... I didn't go for the special... but what I did order was just ok. The fries were way too salty to eat, and the wings were fresh but nothing you haven't tried from the other aforementioned location competitors. To be honest, I prefer Lit Ass Wings take on Honey Ranch wings because it's more honey than ranch, here it's the opposite and again it's too much and a bit overwhelming. The wait was so long I had time to go to the gas station for a Coke Zero, walk around, come back and was still waiting. I will say the young lady that took my order was nice, and once a returned I checked to see if by chance I missed my name call, the guy regulating I guess the manager said no, but did circle back around minutes later to ask my name again I guess get an ETA on my food.
