The door to the safe still exists, and they've repurposed the inside of the safe to a cute little semi-private seating nook. It was busy but not as busy as ours in Houston. The staff was nice. There's also a grassy area outside, and it's not right by the freeway, so my dog could use the loo with ease. Cons: I ordered two refreshers once we parked. It said 10-13 minutes, which tracks with the line inside. While my husband walked our dog around, I used the bathroom and waited on our drink. I waited 10 more minutes. People around me started complaining with how long it was taking. My husband came inside and told me he'd get our drinks. Ten more minutes pass - nada. We ended up going to the drive thru, waiting even longer for a mobile order, and finally got our drinks. I realize it's a small town, but you're off a major interstate with traveling people. On the weekend, you're going to get an uptick in travelers and people stopping in. Waiting 20+ minutes is ridiculous. I also know I'm spoiled because I rarely have to wait 10 minutes for a mobile order in Houston. Our Starbucks are well staffed with personnel capable of a quick turnaround and efficiency. I might come back to this Starbucks, but they really need to improve their turnaround time with personnel if they want to remain open. The chocolate and mint chocolate chip combo is the move. Trust me. Get them together. The chocolate was really good, although mine was a little too firm for my liking. The mint chocolate chip, however, was exactly the right texture and really good. Put the two together and you have yourself a winner. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were about what you would expect compared to other ice cream shops. Nothing complicated here. Good ice cream, friendly people, and a name that apparently brings out my inner 12-year-old. Come get your beans or your creams here.

I also ordered the avocado toast. The latte was perfectly balanced, yet rich and delicious! It was also served at the perfect drinkable temp. The avocado toast was THICK and the avocado and egg topping seemed fresh. It was very filling and a nice dose of healthy protein after all the holiday indulgence! I will ALWAYS come back to this coffee shop when I'm in town especially since it holds a precious memory for me. The drink was delicious. I wanted to buy a shirt of a woman looking like she was standing on business but they were sadly sold out. Anyway, enough rambling. Not returning , we live 4 miles from this location.
