Of course not, I punctured a pipe that was below a number of other PVC pipes. I contacted Darrell via Yelp and he responded quickly and set a date to come out to estimate the job. I was surprised that he responded so quickly as this is a small job and these guys are totally overbooked. He provided a very reasonable estimate and I also had him provide an estimate for crushed stone walkways on each side of my house as there are sections that will not grow grass. Another very reasonable estimate. His crew showed up on time and exceeded my expectations with their work. Great guys and more importantly true professionals. I would highly recommend Darrell and Aloha for any landscaping needs.

Today I contacted him to say that I had bought new birdbath and wondered if he could create a "bird oasis". I couldn't really articulate what I wanted it to look like.......just something pretty with the birdbath in the middle. He was completely undaunted. I showed him the area I wanted it in and he just ran with it. He pruned the two flowering trees, leveled the ground, put in a border and filled the area with gravel. He even mulched the trees and gave them mini borders. It's really lovely and just what I wanted! Can't thank you enough Mark! If you took a "before" picture I wish you'd add it to this review so folks can see the transformation!

Service: - Trimmed a 20ft tree (front yard) - Clean up service Summary Denis couldn't make it to our original appointment, but he apologized for the last min issue. He offered a next-day appointment, so within 12 hours of the actual time, he was there on-site with a large crew. I loved the service because he didn't blindly start cutting/trimming. He listened to what I wanted but countered and suggested cutting/trimming it differently based on the size of the tree. I'm glad I listened. Denis and his crew did the service within 20 minutes, with the front yard looking like normal. That was the best money I spent because if I tried to go to Home Depot and cut it myself, I would have been out there for two days, lol! We had intended to have it trimmed for quite some time, but life kept getting in the way and we knew the job would produce far more branches and debris than we could possibly haul away ourselves. We hired Malaga, owner of Arlo Tree Service and Landscaping, and we could not be happier with the experience. His quote was competitive and very fair, and his communication was prompt, clear, professional, and friendly from beginning to end. Malaga and his team raised the crown and opened the canopy beautifully. The tree looks healthier, the front of the house feels brighter and more open, and the pesky Bermuda under the tree will now grow better. They also left the yard completely clean, blew the driveway and front portico, and hauled away every bit of debris.
