This place is like a breath of fresh air in the mundane food scene at Wilkes Barre, PA. This itself says so much about the restaurant. The baba ghanouj is light and fresh, unlike store-bought brands that can sometimes taste metallic or bitter. Add the meat pie for a well-seasoned update on the pasty we grew up with (apparently the Cornish pasty is a protected food in the EU, like champagne or asiago, who knew).
