I would give this awful place 0 stars if I could…read more I took my cat, April, in as she had a foggy eye and I was concerned about her well being. Dr. Evan's wanted to conduct bloodwork so I paid extra to have that blood work conducted in house. $700 later, we were told to apply an ointment to Aprils eye three times a day as she had scratched her eye and that there were no issues with her blood work. We noticed she was not eating so we called this establishment back and were told to bring her in for additional testing. Something didn't feel right so I decided to get a second opinion from a vet in Bella Vista and brought the blood work results from the first visit with Dr. Evans. We were told just by looking at the blood work that April was in late stage kidney failure and would only have weeks to live. The issue with her eye was not a cut but an ulcer. We made the right decision asking for a second opinion. April has now crossed the rainbow bridge and is no longer suffering. We ironic part is that I received a text message from New Hope Animal Hospital that her labs were perfectly fine while in the process of putting April down. Absolutely disgusting. I feel that New Hope Animal Hospital is just in the business to milk your money and put your animals through unnecessary amounts of suffering. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE. THEY WILL MILK YOU DRY AT THE EXPENSE OF YOUR ANIMALS WELL BEING. April suffered for 3 days...thinking there was some hope. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Eric Steinlage, DVM, owner of All Dogs Clinic in Rogers, AR. He is…read morelucky to have a staff, vet-assistants and receptionists, who are kind, helpful and professional. -- Dr. Steinlage offers canine dental cleanings, but he loves tooth extractions lacking the equipment, x-ray or cat-scan, to examine the dog's mouth; relying only on his eyes, which led to my Chihuahua Lola (and I) being wronged. -- I brought my 9-yrs old Chihuahua to the clinic for a dental cleaning ONLY. Lola always had her Ora et dental chews. Before the procedure, I signed an iPad screen (the receptionist said it was giving permission for the anesthesia and the cleaning. Everybody was dropping out dogs for procedures, so she didn't show me the document i was signing online, and I didn't requested it at this busy time). -- I expressly stated face-to-tace to Dr. Eric, on that day, that I did not want any tooth extractions without prior x-rays AND my specific consent. I also requested that in case an extraction was indicated and authorized by me, to save for me my doggie's tooth. (I collect my dogs' teeth since they were puppies). Despite those instructions, Lola's two lower incisors and an upper one, were extracted without any phone call, text message, or direct communication attempt to obtain my approval and threw her teeth away. (I/we were available all day). -- An irreversible procedure was performed taking away my right to express "informed consent" in my dog's care. -- The initial budget for the dental cleaning, around $300.00, went up to almost $600.00. adding the multiple extractions and unnecessary x-rays of her whole little body. He didn't inform me in advance that he didn't have dental x-rays, so he charged me for all those body X-rays. After the surgery, the vet and his assistants acted dismissive to us. -- This Dr. claims that he is cheaper that other vets, but... you get what you thought you were going to pay for. -- This experience changed Lola's life and caused me and my husband significant distress, resulting in a complete loss of trust in this clinic. Based on what occurred, we would not return and would not recommend this practice for dental procedures.

The surgery tech or a Dr never looked in his mouth with me at drop-off, just made a comment about possibly having to pull a few teeth. Sign here! I get that somewhat, but seriously, if its that bad, call after you do the xrays. THEY PULLED 12 and didn't even have the courtesy to call and discuss the problem he was having or could have before they proceeded with the cleaning BTW, it was some bone loss. Tech said it was preventative extractions so he doesnt have problems down the road. Who in the world can determine thats going to even happen? Really. He had no symptoms of an abcess or problems of any kind to my knowledge when i dropped him off. At pick up she mentioned only one thing that had to be cleaned up in his mouth. Sorry, can't recall, I was already seething and devastated. I am so livid about the lack of conversation and not given the courtesy to make my decision based on a discussion with the Dr. I should have the respect and opportunity to be part of this decision, It is MY dog!!!! When I picked him up, pay first, then we will give you your dog. I go into the exam room for the results, no doctor, just the surgery tech telling me what THEY DECIDED TO DO, gave me the meds and an xray paper copy, and bye bye. This service was the most discusting display of vet care I've ever ever experienced. The next morning I got a TEXT to see how he was. I didnt even get the courtesy of a voice. The surgery tech knew how upset i was when I picked him up, and still no call. THIS practice has become ordinary, nothing special. FAITHFUl FRIENDS used to be one of the best in town. Guess our fur babies are getting the same kind of health care most of us humans are getting these days. How did this experience make me fee? It feels like nothing more then a money grab. How sad it that? Cost, 1000.00 dollars.
