I am an owner of 4 large breed dogs, the oldest of which (12) is deaf, high anxiety, and skittish and fearful around new people. Because of this it has always been told and known that there is one sitter he knows and is comfortable with. I always make a note as well to request this sitter. (He has no history of fear aggression, but I am very careful about the situations I put him into) Before going away this last time I double checked my booking and saw that the sitter was changed (without notifying me) to someone who not only has never met any of my dogs, but has never been into my house and does not know the routine. I understand plans change, but there is no reason why I should not have been notified. Not only would this have been horrible for my dogs, but also sending a stranger into a situation with a highly fearful dog is just not safe or smart as a business owner. I messaged the owner Jodi about this and she promptly deleted my client profile and said I 'rage messaged her'. I attached screenshots of my messages through the app and her response text message to me. Every time I have spoken to or interacted with Jodi she has been either rude or unprofessional so unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.

The self clean tubs are raised and the hoses were plenty long so it was SO much easier on my back! There was also shampoo and bathing brushes that really helped! The driers were cold and loud so we skipped that part but there were towels available and best yet, MY bathroom didn't need cleaned after!! The staff were super welcoming and really seem to love animals. We will def be back for the self cleaning services and possibly to board too! Nice place!

I understand daycare and boarding facilities can be messy, they can be hectic, and employee turnover and burnout is real, but I was shocked at some of the things that go on and I am curious if the owner is also aware. First off, the smell. My god, the smell of urine could have literally knocked me back it was so thick in the air. I came 2-3 weeks in a row and that smell was just terrible. They finally fixed that (assumed by cleaning?), but I was cringing that they worked in that and no one else complained. Second. They like to do a lot of rescuing and rehabbing, which I am all for, in a safe way. These employees will literally let tiny kittens roam the lobby while dogs come in and out. While dropping off a clients dog, I had full control of the dog, but as soon as I stepped into the door I was *dragged* to a defenseless kitten, dogs mouth was wide open ready to eat his new friend. I was certain I was about to watch its death, I cursed and screamed I was so angry and terrified. Adding to that, a male employee likes to keep his personal dog in the lobby. That's so fun when you can have a job that allows your best friend at your side, unfortunately this dog will incessantly bark at you while you check out. I want to cry picking up on migraine days. S(he?) also snapped at a clients dogs face that was standing next to me. I saw it happen with my own eyes, if this is what I have had to put up with I'm sure there are other client stories. It is dangerous to keep unleashed dogs and cats in the lobby of a pet facility, it's just asking for trouble. I have been asked my opinion of this place on numerous occasions and always give the same opinion. Hounds Lounge off of college is impeccably clean and it's where I take my personal dogs. I have never had a problem with fearing for mine, my dogs, or my clients dogs safety. While I wish Dogwatch the best, I do not recommend them based on my experience with them.

Dogwatch assured me they would help me. Not only did they bathe her but clipped her nails and made her look bada$$ with a very cool bandanna :) As far as the half day with others, they said she did great and she slept so sound that night. Obviously she had a great time. I have had her back there again for a day of fun and am dropping her off for a week of boarding tomorrow. I highly recommend this place for all your boarding and bathing needs, in addition to just giving your pet a fun day. The staff is amazing and the owner cares so much about what they do!!!
