I have been happy with their service, but that changed a few weeks ago when I took my dog there to have him groomed -- an appointment I made about a month before. I received a text from them that said his appointment was at 9 a.m., and I walked in at 9:02. The woman at the front desk was snippy and said they were going to charge me a $20 fee because he was late. I said, "The text said that his appointment is at 9." She told me that it was 9:02, and if the appointment is at 9, that means he needs to be there before 9. She bragged that someone came in one minute late the day before and they had to pay the fee. I honestly thought she was joking. I assumed the owner didn't know how they were treating good customers, so I asked if he was there and if I could talk to him. He came in and was immediately rude and aggressive. I calmly mentioned that I was two minutes late and that we have been coming there for years. I thought he would at least apologize and say, "I understand how you feel, but it's our policy." It still would not have made it right, but I would have at least felt heard. Instead, he was extremely emotional and told me that he had already called another customer to come in because I was late. He kept telling me how much my being late had inconvenienced him. I said, "Well, I'll pay the fee, but I don't plan to bring my dog back in the future." He began to scream at me, and told me to take my dog and that he wasn't going to groom my dog. I tried to de-escalate the situation. I was in shock and didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I was in disbelief that a business owner would act this way. I stayed calm the entire time, but he continued to throw a fit. I asked him to go ahead and groom my dog, and he told me that my dog would be the last one out since he was the last one there. I almost said, "I thought you called someone else to bring in their dog," but I didn't. I said that was fine. The most upsetting part is that ever since I picked up my dog, he had been shaking and extremely skittish. We are worried about how he was treated while he was in their care. Needless to say, we will never take him there again. I've never written a negative review before, but I do not want others to go through what I did. I wish I could give less than one star.

That all changed. 1 ish hours outside, 1 ish hours in what I overheard staff telling another customer was dog rooms "they each have their own" well the dog room is a cage, larger than a crate for the bigger ones (littles in crates) The point of doggy daycare is interaction, socializing and playing. Not laying by themselves in a cage. They said it was for safety, in the 3 years she went there, she may have came home with more than a little scratch, but they're dogs playing, it happens. And the former owner/staff vetted the dogs before accepting them. What happens on the days when its storming or in the dead of winter. They spend 80% of their day in a cage. No Thank You. Sorry for those pet parents who may be unaware or the change. She's at a new location now and loving it.
