Omg! What a disgustingly, dirty salon! There was hair EVERYWHERE from probably 5 months different dogs. I mentioned the amount of hair on the floor and on top of the grooming tables and the groomer said nothing but "Yeah". I came back 2 hours later and the exact same hair was there! There were NO dogs being cut either time. It's empty and they had time to sweep but didn't. I called management and it's supposed to be vacuumed after each dog. I called a second time and spoke to another manager and she said," well that's the goal but we are so busy we don't always have time". Whatever! I had to go back because my dog's nails were still so long it was like they forgot. Never again! You lost my business. read more

We could not get any sales assistance, even on a slow Monday afternoon. I visited several departments, actually looking for specific items, while employees walked by silently. Meanwhile, my partner was prepared to buy several fish-just waiting for their turn. The employee in that department helped the only other customer, and then just walked off without a word. After we waited around several minutes, the same employee walked back by without a word or glance, and then disappeared somewhere behind a door. We waited a bit - no return. We decided we were done. I made appointments for both of my dogs to get groomed. I had a busy day so made sure to make appointments for 9 am for both. One has to have an express groom due to health. I made appointments online as I always have. I get there and was told that they had to move the appointments around. Now I confirmed my 9 am appointments the day before. Nothing was said about having to change appointment times. I was told the appt times were moved since I book the appts online and you can't book express appointments online. I have never had an issue before. So I made the mistake of leaving my dogs there. I did get a call an hour later that both were done. I picked my dogs up and I think they let some child do the grooming. The cuts are uneven and choppy. Kimmy was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I will not be back. read more

Garrett is not only rude with people but his mannerisms with our dog must be borderline aggressive. Both of our dogs were nervous with him. I thought the first time he was maybe having a bad day and that our negative interaction was a result of miscommunication. Plus, his rudeness prompted a similar response from me. However, the second interaction proved he simply lacks customer service/people skills. Our dog was trembling when I left him. I was hesitant but thought our dog was just picking up on my anxiety. I asked my husband to go pick him up and make all future bookings. After being picked up that time, our dog was traumatized for the rest of the day. Our next appt was with a different groomer who called us after 30 minutes and said she couldn't continue with our dog because he was too wiggly. Not aggressive. Just wiggly. He would have to go to a more experienced groomer, Garrett. So my husband makes another appointment with Garrett. We wait 2 weeks for our appt. 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment, Garrett calls my husband to say he can't see our dog, because his records show that "2 incidents" with me, (not the dog) the paying customer, and now he "doesn't want to groom our dog." If he has the right to refuse service because he doesn't like the customer, then this should be posted in the store. I would fully understand the refusal of our Golden Doodle if he were aggressive but not because the groomer doesn't like the owners. That is a personal opinion not a professional position. Furthermore, if the groomers have the right to refuse customers, then it should have been done at the time of booking. Not 30 minutes before the appointment. Sadly, this PetSmart has lost all of our business and probably that of anyone we share our story with. read more

The Wal-Mart of pet supplies, Petsmart has a huge selection of stuff for the dog, cat, bird, rabbit and fish in your life. At least ten different brands of dog and cat food, with all the special mixes that each manufacturer offers. Our older felines and canines need the "Active Longevity" so it's one huge bag of each for them. And you can't shop at Petsmart without picking up a special treat. They have three aisles of different dog toys, fabric ones and latex ones and others, plus several different types of catnip-enhanced toys for the cats. I'm not a bird or fish person, but it's easy to see that they have huge tanks and large cages with the right kinds of food for them too. On some days, they offer pets for adoption. I have to skip that area because I have a very soft heart and I'd want to take them all home with me. I already have plenty! Prices are decent - on the stuff that Wal-Mart sells, Wal-Mart is possibly cheaper. But Wal-Mart doesn't have near the selection that Petsmart does, so we're always here at Petsmart for the things our "furry" family members need. Went in to make a new ID tag as my dog's old one went MIA. With chewy.com & Barkbox, I tend to on-line shop for my pets so it's been a while since I've been into a pet store. I walked in & was greeted by the only cashier who was present. Not very busy this early morning. I paid $12 & some change for the tag I selected. You then take it to the Tag-Works machine, type in your text, watch it engrave (took about 3 min) & wa-la! Lots of different kinds of tags & you can put up to 4 lines on each side. This is super convenient. But be sure to buy the tag from the cashier first because the receipt has a number you'll need to put in the machine! read more

My wife and I were here two times to look for a cat to adopt and after searching desperately, we found Maggie, a Siamese Flame Point. We played with nearly all the cats and the staff were helpful to let us do so, however after doing a phone interview with the organization and getting approved to adopt, the staff told us explicitly that Maggie would be placed on hold for 24 hours since we would be back in the morning after buying all the necessary equipment and putting a $300 fee down for our apartment complex. When we returned, the cat was adopted! My wife and I were crushed. To us, this was our cat, one we would have for 10, 15 years! We told many friends and family, dozens of coworkers. We were able to talk to a assistant manager of sorts and he told us he was deeply sorry and that they would be able to do something for us: gift card or something to help with the emotional distress they had put us through. When I called back to see about an update on the situation, they said they can't do anything for us at all and said they'd only retrain those employees responsible. That's two false promises, and I don't mean maybes, 100% promised and undelivered. I don't care about the gift card, I wanted my wife and I to be taken care of and to take care of this awesome feline friend as a part of our growing family. This whole situation has devastated us both. Luckily, Maggie is with a good family and can be cared for. We would highly recommend taking their promises with a grain of sand. UPDATE: After calling corporate, we received a phone call from the store and they offered to help with the setup of a new feline in the future! Their grooming salon is nothing but a revolving door. We have had our Goldendoodle groomed there several time but today was the the last time. After 5 hours of an inexperienced groomer working with our dog she tries to blame the shotty job she did on the dog! He was not matted and came home with the very mat we pointed out to them which I combed out in less than 60 seconds. There were others GD's there and they were all being shaved. If you don't want to take the time to work with the dog don't take the appointment. I will never use them again and make sure no one I know uses them. read more

We complained to the manager and got many excuses of being a new crew among other things. We finally got our fish and checked out. Adopted my cat from there. They said he had been checked over by a vet before adoption, but he had ringworm and a respiratory infection when I got him. I believe they probably knew because he was sneezing quite a bit. My little girl was just groomed on Apr. 25, 2021 by Carly. Orphan Annie is a cross between a Miniature Schnauzer and a Yorkie. In the Winter we allow the Yorkie to come out and in the Summer we go for the Schnauzer cut. This was a Summer cut. She is in such pain. The clippers/shaver was used on her bottom end and her female parts. Both areas are raw and bleeding. Several areas on her body have pieces of long hair left behind. It cost over $80 to get her to look and feel like this. No. I absolutely do NOT recommend them. We certainly won't be back, and if this is an example of how all of your groomers do their job, I feel sorry for any pet left in your clutches. Samantha was our groomer and she was awesome! She was very kind and treated my dog with respect and warmth. She listened to exactly what I wanted and then called me as soon as he was finished. When I didn't have cash for a tip, she told me not to worry about it and that getting to spend time with my dog was enough. I was able to get cash back at the front of the store to leave with her, but it meant so much to me that she would say that and I could tell she meant it. I was very impressed! read more

Adopted a rescue from Phoenix Petsmart to later learn thee dog had heart issues but we went forward with the dog. I trained him to be a service dog. We moved to Arkansas. Bentonville. Called to get his nails cut and hair on pads cut. They refused and said they would never work on him because of his heart issue. The grooming area could not find the missing collar nor could the manager at the store. This is my go-to location for pet supplies in general as they price match and guarantee every order, and valid returns for 30 days; thats a plus for me. Every time I have had an issue with a product they let me return it, I would say some patience is required when dealing with manufacturer defects etc. as the employees are assigned to departments like grooming, fish/reptile and so on... I have had issues waiting on staff so I go on my free time not when a list of errands need doing. I purchased a fish tank recently. I noticed when I got home that it had a crack in the bottom and called to get the tank replaced; the other one in stock was cracked also. Apparently the item (fish tank) was cracking due to a manufacturer defect and I ended up getting a sweet deal on the 54 gallon corner tank by Aqueon. I purchased my pet at the Fayetteville, AR location, and tried to return the Hamster at the Rogers, AR location because it's on my way to my college classes. They wouldn't take the Hamster because he is male. I have Lab exams all afternoon and so now he has to go to lab with me. PetSmart did me wrong today. The register price was double what the shelf price was. They were having a buy one, get one half off sale. One item I purchased was supposed to be $8.97 and the other $6.63. I was charged $14.99 for each one and given $7.50 off the second one. When I pointed the mistake out to the cashier, he was extremely rude. To fix the problem, he did an exchange instead of a refund. This caused the transaction to not refund the correct amount, plus my money was not immediately returned to my debit card. I ask to speak to a manager who was more rude than the cashier. Neither one admitted that it was PetSmart's mistake, nor did they apologize. I truly feel that PetSmart purposely doubled their prices so that they didn't loose money on their so called sale. Most people don't check their receipt, so they don't know that they've been scammed! False information. Came in on a Sunday to set up appointments for my dogs in the groomer. Did inform the women that one dog has heart worms and has been cleared to be cleaned and trimmed. I go into the appointment today and after I get there @ 1245 for a 130 appointment to drop them off since it's my sons birthday and have a movie at 120. They tell me that they won't take him cause I said he had heart worms but had been cleared. Did not care to get a Manager or try to find a solution. Spend nearly 1000 a month in there may not be a lot but will be taking my business else where you should train all your employees better if she would have told me on Sunday when I didn't get my dogs out and all the way into town from 25 minutes away. We have taken her to petsmart before and she is a hyper little dog like any other little dog but never had problems with her haircut. Until we went into the Rogers Petsmart. We got a call 2 hours later saying that our dog could not get finished because she was trying to bit the cord and the ladies fingers. Ava has NEVER done that. So when we went to pick her up there was a girl getting really mad with a dog she was grooming and was throwing the dog around because he did not want to sit up, (no dog sits up) She then threw her cutter down and asked what I wanted. I told her I needed Ava and it took her about 5 mins to go get her and she threw the dog at me and was just RUDE. There were people waiting that even asked if she was going to work on their dogs because she was just RUDE. We will NEVER NEVER NEVER bring our dog in there. I will make sure I tell everyone to not go to the Petsmart. I called the manager there and he did not even care. I find this very unprofessional and rude. If I could rate them under 1 star I would so disappointed as to what I saw when I went to the grooming at 6:45. I am getting a new puppy and wanted to check it out and see how the grooming was. Couldn't even see the floor. There was hair stacked in piles along the walls and all over the floor and on the tables you can't tell me that they are too busy to clean up after a dog that they have groomed. There is only one groomer and it's rediculous. Hair stylist clean up after each person and this is uncalled for I wouldn't bring my animals here after seeing this mess. It's right by my house and I'm better off going back to PETCO they have a much cleaner and sanitary environment and they clean up after every client. I am very disappointed and have no words for how dissapointed I am it's so uncalled for. We have a one year old Biewer Yorkshire Terrier. She has been groomed six times and all six have been at PetSmart Grooming Salon. I have switched groomers to seek better service. I have researched and requested specific things that are specific to the Yorkie breed, like shaved / tipped ears so they stand up, that I discovered were not being done. Today, I made this request and one other (3 rubber bands for the bow-silly but necessary if it is to stay in) even in the presence of a manager. When we arrived to pick up our girl, these requests were not met. We asked if her ears could please be shaved. The groomer said - we had only requested they be tipped - but ok. He took her back and 'shaved at them' leaving blade lines and an uneven amount of hair on the ears. We went up to pay the $78.00 grooming bill and my husband went to check to see if she was finished. She was with the groomer at the counter. He felt she was agitated, so he took her. There was no grooming report as we had previously received so we were uncertain why she was agitated. At this time, I feel certain I will seek different grooming services in the future. read more
