The staff delivers exceptional customer service daily! Myself and my dog are greeted with enthusiasm and a huge smile every day! I never feel like my dog is just a number. I know from the bottom of my heart when I walk through those doors they 100% care about each dog and each customer. My dog literally goes crazy when we start pulling into their driveway. He can't wait to get through those front doors and start playing. CoolWag promises you a tired dog when you come back for pick up. On this they deliver 10 fold. My dog falls asleep as soon as he gets in the car. By the time we get home I'm not exaggerating he barely eats before he is sound asleep. It's hard to put into words just how epic CoolWag is. I grew up with dogs, but my wife and daughter barely knew bones from barks. Max was actually a really good puppy, but our efforts to train him were unsuccessful despite the review of several online resources. So we of course looked online only to have a difficult time figuring out who was going to be a good fit for training Max. A lot of websites had photos of larger dogs like german shepherds. Max had nearly topped out at 16 lbs and looks like a stick with ears when wet. He is shy around other dogs, and we worried about putting him in a school with other larger dogs. Then we found Kass Kennels & Training. Kass had loads of testimonials with lots of different dogs. They also had a video on their Instagram showing dogs learning to "place" and avoid distraction with the aid of chickens (NW Arkansas has lots of chickens - thank you Don Tyson). The pooch in training would reach the stage where they could sit in the middle of a chicken pen and ignore all the clucking, hunting, and pecking going on. Rocky Balboa used chickens while training to beat Apollo Creed, so Kass had to be awesome. We enrolled Max in a 14-day course. He stayed at the training camp, but during his time there, we were updated with emails and videos of his progress, which we could see was transformative. When we finally got Max back, Spencer and staff gave us some training equipment, a K&H cooling cot, and a set of instructions for ongoing training. Max was of course happy to see us and actually excited to show us his new ability to follow commands and walk next to us without a leash. Max will "place" and hold his position until released if we need him to be out of the way in certain situations, like when a delivery man or trick or treaters are at the door. One of my favorite things is that Kass also boards the dogs it has trained. We have used this service, and while he is there, Max receives a training booster because he participates in the training program with the other new dogs. We have referred others to Kass, and they have all thanked us for the great recommendation. Our family is lucky to have found Kass Kennels & Training for our wonderful cavapoo Max, and we recommend it for anyone looking for a school and possible future kennel for their furry family member. #yelpnwa

We traded some messages with Spencer during training, and I was hoping for an emphasis on off leash recall, stay, and heel so that we could spend more time on the bike trails around Bentonville. Spencer let us know that he'd like to keep Gracie a few extra days to cement some of the behaviors we'd requested... the program is not a cookie cutter and is tied to dog's progress. So after 17 days Spencer brought Gracie to the house and made sure the handover/transition back to us went perfect. As to the results... we couldn't have asked for any more.... Gracie is focused on the task at hand. It's been about ten days and we have been reinforcing the training every day. Today I was able to walk Gracie off leash around the Bentonville square and down the Razorback Greenway. She was not distracted by bikes, walkers, other dogs, or even the squirrel that ran across the path in front of us. It was unbelievable. Thanks Spencer!

My dog Mickey, who is gentle, expressive, and has always received glowing feedback from his previous groomer, Daijea, an experienced professional great with small dogs, suffered immensely after his last grooming here. The whites of Mickey's eyes were bloodshot, and the vet confirmed aggressive ear plucking had caused painful inflammation as well in his ear canal. He was in immense pain, required one urgent care visit and two follow-ups, was on pain medication for a week, and needed additional medication for his ears and eyes for two weeks. After recovering from the trauma and fear of permanent damage to Mickey, I contacted Furry Land to cancel my future appointments as I could no longer trust this establishment with Mickey's care. While Krystyn, one of their staff members, initially showed genuine care and took accountability after sharing Mickey's story, my experience with Diane, the owner, was deeply concerning. When I requested that her insurance contact me directly for documentation, she refused, saying she did not want to involve her insurance. This made her repeated requests for Mickey's medical records, which contain unrelated personal information, feel even more inappropriate and inconsistent with her earlier claim that the documents were "for training and documentation purposes." Refusing to involve insurance and repeatedly requesting private medical records felt unprofessional and concerning. Out of sheer goodwill and concern for other pets, I still contacted Mickey's vet considering it would help with training staff despite wanting minimal to no contact after all the trauma caused. In hindsight, the upfront compensation offered feels more like hush money than accountability that I have refused to accept. I continued the conversation privately because of the past experience I had from Mickey's wonderful experience with Daijea, believing my feedback could help improve their process so no other pet parent would go through this. Unfortunately, I no longer feel that's the case. I'm sharing this to help other pet parents make an informed decision and protect their beloved companions from unnecessary pain. Our pets deserve groomers and owners who lead with compassion, transparency, and responsibility.
