Last week we left our dog with Dog Party. I brought anxiety meds for him. First time to try the meds- ask them not to use unless really necessary. They told me when I picked him up they hadn't given him any, but 15 of the 30 pills are gone. I don't think my Instructions were listed to and they didn't even seem to know he had been given the meds. Makes me nervous to leave him there again. read more

I was scheduled to drop off my dog for 5 days before leaving out of state. The girl I spoke to ensured me I could drop off my dog on Saturday 6:30AM, My flight leaving 10:06AM. I arrived at 6:30AM and NOBOODY WAS THERE!!! In a panic on my way home I left a detailed message asking someone please call me back as I had to leave for the Airport at 8:15AM. NOBODY EVER CALLED ME BACK!!!!!! I called after my plane landed 3 hours later and received no concern/apology at all. I called 3 days later (while still out of state) and spoke with the owner (Chaty). There was no sincere apology nor did she even bother asking whom I spoke to that gave me this information (Yes, I noted this girl's name). All I pretty much got was "...well, I hope you would give us another chance in the future". I was speechless. NO!!! I WILL NOT GIVE DOG PARTY ANOTHER CHANCE NEXT TIME I NEED TO LEAVE TOWN! Thank god at the last minute my neighbor was able to take care of my dog while I was gone. read more

We boarded our dog with Dog Party for 4 nights/5 days. On the first day, he was unfortunately left out on hot concrete and got severe burns on his paws. We were notified 2 days later, but they downplayed how severe the burns and blisters were on his paws. When we picked him up on day 5, he was still bleeding. It took a full week for the bleeding to stop. They did give him pain reliever, but should have never left him out that long in the first place. The photo is 6 days after being left out. read more

The minute we pull into the parking lot my dog starts trying to get out of the car. He beats me to the fenced entrance every time, and almost never has time to say "bye" because he's too busy running down the hall to find his friends. I cannot say enough good stuff about this place! I called several times throughout my boarding to check on my dogs and Dog Party told me they were doing great at their extended stay. As you can see from the before and after pictures below, that is not the case. I emailed to show concern because I am sick looking at my dog, since I see my dog's bones. I was informed my dog was at "boot camp" and that's normal for them to look like this... AND the owner said "you must feel so guilty to leave your dogs with us for so long" ...UM OKAY I am BEYOND furious. First off, you could have informed me on one of the many times I called to let me know my dog was losing weight(but clearly the boarding money is more important to these people) and secondly, you could take some responsibility and maybe idk...apologize? My fellow pet parents: please do not send your fur family to Dog Party USA. As some others have noted in the comments, my dogs were boarded there for 9 days while my family was traveling and both were extremely sick when we picked them up. We took them to the vet and both had respiratory illness. Both were coughing. Both were lethargic. One tested positive for canine coronavirus and lost 2 lbs in one week. When we picked them up the staff person told us the one who we later learned lost weight had missed one meal the second day they stayed there. That does not account for losing 20% of his body weight in one week and no one told us either way. The fact that he would mention he didn't eat and not tell us the whole truth is awful, because it shows they had concerns they just didn't tell us because they wanted our money and needed our dogs to stay to get it. Also, we ended up having to pay $900 in vet bills to have our dogs treated, which cost more than it did for them to stay at Dog Party USA. We called and were told that we could speak to a manager the next day. My partner spoke to the manager and she tried to gaslight him by saying our dog didn't eat 2x (still not enough to lose 20% of his body weight). When that didn't work she said oh he was just exercising, but we watched the camera everyday (we are those pet parents!) and our dog who is so lazy didn't move the whole time. Likely because he was sick! Out of excuses she confirmed that they just heard about another dog who was sick, and yet didn't offer to pay a portion of our vet bill (which is what we were told was there policy when we spoke with someone else the day before). She offered for us to have free daycare AT THE FACILITY WHERE OUR DOGS GOT SICK and for which they are taking no responsibility. This is so disappointing to say the least for people who run a business that professes to care for dogs and other animals. It's disgraceful and they should be ashamed. Do not send your dogs there, you will regret it and so will your bank account. If I could give them zero stars I would but I had to give 1 star just to be able to write the review. Avoid! read more

I take my little dog Benji every Friday afternoon for a half day daycare. He gets so excited he speeds thru the gate + down the hallway to the little dog yard when we get there + comes bounding back at the end of the day totally happy. All the dogs are happy + engaged. The staff is great. I appreciate a place where my dog can socialize + I can see him on camera outside with all his buddies. My dog Harley has been going there since he was 4 months old . He has had training lessons there , stayed a day , and has stayed up to a week . He also gets groomed there . This is his happy place ! First I think the concept of dog party is great. However, dog party is geared towards high energy large dogs which ultimately made me find a new place to board my dog. I wanted to give them a try for grooming because I liked the concept. However, my dog left with the razor burn, marks and missed spots. In addition the groom took 2 hours longer than I was quoted. When making the appointment (one week out) I was told that it actually wasn't a busy day. I felt like the staff was very dismissive when I tried to confirm timing at drop off. I was told that they don't have anything to do with grooming and I'll be contacted when my dog was done. Overall not a great experience for me or my dog. read more

They're trying to look all Civic & Noble on their Facebook page by closing for 2 weeks because an employee tested positive for Covid 19. Unfortunately, they already knew that the employee had covid and did nothing before or after the fact the fact. They only took action after they were contacted by an agency following up on the positive report. They also fired an employee for staying home the recommended quarantine period After that employee had been exposed to the tested positive employee. They do not have their employees best interest at heart and they are dishonest in the representation of this. read more

The staff all truly seem to love dogs and I've brought my puppy here for play days & socializing skills several times and she's done great. Unfortunately the last time she got a bad stomach bug there and after a very expensive Vet bill we won't be going back. It's not a bad place but with the exposure to so many potentially sick dogs I'd rather have her in a safer environment. Rex has attended Dog Party for a while now every Tuesday. He gets a bath, attends training school at night, and plays with his doggie friends. We are so very grateful for him to have this time with others who care about Rex as much as we do. Matt comes to pick up Rex when we are slammed at the office, and Rex is always eager and excited when he sees him. We know how much he enjoys the visits because of how he responds to the people there. When we've gone out of the area for visits, Rex has stayed at Dog Party as well. We love this place for our Dallas dog when we travel to Ark. However, this was not the best...our dog got a bad stomach virus which needed to be treated by our Vet upon returning to Dallas. He also had a large scratch on his nose that had obviously bled as his white nose fur still had deluted blood...someone could have washed his face again. While I understand economics, we had our reservations well before their price increase...Although it was minimal, they should have honored the price at the reservation date. They did give him a great nail cut with good drimmel...better than ones we get in Dallas...All in all still a great place...we all have hiccups! read more

The team at dog party is fantastic. Everyone there has been so loving and caring with our puppy Pearl since day one. We have utilized their daily day care and boarding services when out of town. All experiences have been great. The flexibility the management team has with issues is great also. Our puppy got sick one month when we had paid for a full month of day care and we were reimbursed for the week we would not be there to allow a virus to run its course. In the same regards, we had our dog spaded and the management team reimbursed us for the time out with the last minute scheduling. All in all, these folks love the 100s of dogs at the facility each day and ensure your puppy has fun and receives the love they deserve. read more
