The staff took the time to understand her personality and natural traits, even knowing she prefers human attention over other dogs. It was clear she was watched over, loved, and comfortable the entire time. Thanks to angel sitters, my little girl had a mid-day visit and bathroom break, and she was able to stay in the peaceful setting of her home rather than cowering in the corner at a boarding or day care facility. (I'm writing in pass tense because this was a couple of years ago and my girl has since gone on to rainbow bridge.) These pet sitters are truly angels. The ones I meet in person we're so thoughtful and caring. They make the process very easy and take good care of fur babies.

They were both long & shaggy from growing out all winter, & Ericka shaved them down to get them ready for spring while making them look adorable with how she shaped them up. Dealing chronic illness I wasn't able to take as good care of them eventually, but I did my best and Megan never shamed me about it. Instead she gave me realistic expectations ("No, crazy lady, they cannot have Schnauzer cuts unless you can commit to regular brushing and more frequent grooming. How about I cut them very short and a little bit less short where the furnishings would be?") and have them fantastic care through illnesses, discomfort, and the general situation of aging dogs. I never would have felt comfortable taking them to someplace like Petco with the care they needed. Lucky Dogs is way better and they've got a much better attention to detail! In addition, she made a special house call for my mom when she was dealing with a lot of hospitalizations and couldn't brush her Akita. He probably lost 10# of fur that day and Megan's arms had to have been sore from sorting through a 150# boy blowing his coat, but he looked so handsome and my mom and I were so grateful that she went above and beyond, especially considering she did this on her personal time and I KNOW how exhausting and challenging big dogs can be to groom.
