Asked me why I, a 22 year old male, have moved around jobs so much. She asked it in a very judgmental way. I'm 22. Why would I commit years of my life to one job? Also upon asking about felonies she made an off handed comment about "being a felon trying to work with seniors" implying that I'm some sort of menace to society. No. I'm a young man who had a rough past. I did my time and am working to be a valuable member of the working society. Also during the interview I heard a nurse yelling at an elderly man to "SWALLOW THE FUCKING PILLS OR YOU WONT BE HAVING OUTSIDE TIME". The interviewer gave me a look during this that gave me the vibe of "mind your business." This put me off and caused me to think about the conditions that these senior citizens are living in, and the treatment they are receiving. I do not recommend placing your loved ones in these crooked people's care.

He can be a difficult patient at times, but the nurses have handled him with respect even at his worst moments. The staff has been adamant about changes in his care for his safety, although he doesn't like some of those changes, my sister and I are in agreement about his safety. The changes are not unreasonable or too restrictive. He seems to like the food, overall. The trays I have seen brought to him are sensible sized portions and usually contain something fresh: a veggie or a fruit. He likes strawberry-flavor milk and they have made such accomodations for him. Prior to this facility, he was in another rehab place in the area and we are glad he has "landed" at Regency. Yes, I have seen a few staff members smoking during their break, in the designated area, but I don't think its statistically possible for any corporation to have a completely smoke-free staff. I say, if they can fulfill the needs of your family member, go for it!

Your quality of care is like a negative one. How can your physician fail to recognize cellulitis? They told my father that the ailment they failed to determine would "resolve in two weeks". Within 24 hours my father was admitted to Providence for four days, put on IV antibiotics and sent home with an additional twelve days of antibiotics. It's hard to believe he was actually seen by a real physician at Cascade. I guess it was a mad rush to treat and street. Dad's February 1st visit involved registration calling me when they figured out dementia patients can't answer questions. She sent me down to the ER. The person who answered the phone told me my father was in ultrasound and I would receive a call from the doctor when the results came back. After three hours of hearing nothing, I finally called the emergency room again only to find out my father had been discharged without one word to me. As I mentioned previously, my father has dementia. He couldn't tell someone where he'd been let alone what was done or a result. When I spoke to memory care the following day, they told me he was returned without any paperwork and they had no idea what was done while he was at the hospital. So, as my review states, you run an awful hospital with terrible physicians and there are now notes in his paperwork at memory care to send him to any other hospital except Cascade in the event of an emergency. You clowns can't even get billing right. Last year rather than run his bill through insurance correctly (apparently you forgot about the Medicare supplement), you sent the bill to collections. And yes, I spoke to the billing department when I received the initial bill. They were just too lazy to correct his insurance and run the bill again and sent it instead to collections for non-payment rather than mail a bill for the adjusted total.

I paid him $500 a month which he requested in cash. He also tried to bill my insurance company. He took calls from other patients with me in the room. I heard him berate them for not having enough money and say "no money no prescription". He is praying on people so vulnerable and trying hard to turn their lives around. He would laugh about them telling me they will show up later with just their back pack, then they will pay him. I severed my relationship with him when he called me out of the blue asking me for a $3000 loan to help close some real estate scheme he was involved in. When I told him no he asked me how much I could give him. I see he is currently charged federally with cares act fraud to the tune of 3 million dollars. Good. A federal prison cell will probably more comfortable than the dank, unlit hole he called his waiting room. An absolute disgrace.

From what? The post anesthesia patient is the one at risk getting in the car with a stranger. I can't tell my family the last name of the person I am getting in the car with? At least in an Uber or taxi, you have all the information displayed on their professional license, on your phone, the license plate. etc. and you can text that to a family member. Unfortunately Peace Health won't let you use an Uber and I was forced to cancel my procedure at the last minute.
