I called Erik Bohlin seeking relationship counseling because he is located in Lake Stevens. I called Erik around mid-day, and he returned my phone call that evening. He mentioned that he was between patients and that he would speak with me briefly. After VERY BRIEFLY explaining to him that my girlfriend (of 8 years, whom I live with) and I were seeking some counseling for some communication issues we were having recently. His response was "I do not treat people in live-in, non-married relationships because studies show, that even if you were to get married, you have an 80% chance of getting a divorce. It stems from commitment issues". I tried to further explain my situation. During which, he talked over me. Not listening to a word I said. Isn't it a therapist's job to listen? Was he trying to tell me that my relationship isn't worth saving? I thanked him for his time, and hung up. Without going into too much detail, my girlfriend and I are in a loving, caring, committed relationship. But, we both have noticed we need to work on the communication, in order to bring us closer together. In our relationship we have, what we would like to think as a "progressive view on marriage" (specifically; it's a religious ceremony for a religion that neither of us follow), and that it's probably not for us. Bottom line: If you find yourself in Lake Stevens, in need of relationship counseling (not marriage counseling), there are much better therapists around that can help you. His inability to listen to me, and his outdated view of what a healthy relationship SHOULD be, are why I give him a 2 star rating.

I've spent A LOT of time in rehab/ PT unfortunately, so this is not my first rodeo....but my first…read moretime in this location. There was a lot of miscommunication getting me set up (not sure which way blame actually fell....doctor or them) but once I went in they were very nice. This is a big facility and they pack it in. The waiting room is far too small for the amount of people they move thru there... that's for sure. They have a speedy computer check in (if it's not your first time), and several ladies that greet you when you arrive. My first visit I was taken in a private room to talk and assess, and then start treatment and come up with a plan. My PT guy was Bob, very friendly, listened, and worked with me to get an idea of the best plan of attack. I had Bob for a couple visits and then bounced to Dave. Dave was very helpful in stretching my foot and getting movement. Much stronger hands, and really seemed to work the right area. I was seen by another lady, but she seems to have a much lighter touch. My luck is no luck...so at this point I'm having my surgery redone, which means I'm done with PT for the next 3-4 months. But I will be back. Pros: They have your choice of private or open tables to do your PT They have so many employees they can get you in without a lot of wait time They keep good chart notes so when someone else helps you they have info so you are not repeating everything constantly. Tons of contraptions and tools to get you fixed up. Location, and parking are super easy. They take most insurance...including mine...which almost no one takes! Cons: They have so many people you kind of just get cattle prodded in. Not as personal as other places I've been Each person has their own style,so consistency isn't always there. Gets crowded quick! Overall: Convenience, and the fact they take my crappy insurance means I'll be back. I would probably book out much further in advance and request to be with only 1 Physical Therapist.

Which was not my experience at the previous physical therapy establishment that I had tried first-- (having tried a previous place the things I noticed at the other place were uncleanliness, disorganization and lack of knowledge/ and was over-Complicated and they disregarded physiatrist notes) The reason for my physical therapy was my back and hips and Brett went straight to the point on my first day and I was already feeling better with my at home routine and in office within a week. my advice is to try this place first and see Brett if you can! He also specializes in acupuncture, so that was a bonus treatment contributing to my overall healing!

I definitely suggest that you try to schedule an appointment yourself. Both times I was able to schedule my appointments on the same day as well, which was convenient. They called and asked if I'd like to come a little earlier since I listed that I had a hard time breathing, and I agreed to come in a half an hour earlier. I know there were walk-in emergencies that were taken, but I also saw some people who arrived around an hour before close and were turn away due to the earlier walk ins. Overall the space is very clean and newer or just kept clean for a medical facility. They have a lot of different rooms, and the one I was out in was pretty bug with extra chairs if you bring company. The nurses seems to all be friendly and genuinely care. I didn't feel like I was being judged for the fact that I vape or when I mentioned any other poor habits. After checking my lungs it turns out I had pneumonia. They gave me a nebulizer and ordered some antibiotics, steroids, and an inhaler for me. They gave me clear instructions and asked me to come back in when I was done to confirm my pneumonia away. I came back after 5 days (booked an appointment the same day) was able to get checked in and seen pretty quickly and was checked it and confirmed to be doing much better. The nurses from my earlier appointment even remembered me and we're just as friendly and caring as the first time Like I said I'm really surprised by the poor rating but I also realize that people are more likely to leave a review if they have a complaint than if they're happy with the service. I definitely recommend this place, I will definitely be returning if I need to go to urgent care. I feel very confident in suggesting this place for urgent care needs.
