Herb made the entire process and assessment so easy, and he found the problem within just 5 minutes. He didn't even charge us for the assessment, which says a lot these days considering he still has to spend his time and gas to come out. Herb is friendly, down to earth, patient, and thorough from start to finish. This review honestly doesn't do him justice. We're already planning to use Alpine for a full plumbing and AC renovation on our home, and we're looking forward to being lifelong customers. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend Herb and this team to anyone who needs an honest, skilled plumber.

Originally had a plumber sent out from Alpine this morning which he did not have the correct equipment. Following the miscommunication on my part (Plumbing vs HVAC tech) the owner Vince personally called me and told me that he was sending out another tech in the next hour that had the correct HVAC equipment to get the pipe cleared. (He said the drain pipe is a grey area between Plumbing/HVAC as while it drains into the sewer, that the plumbers don't usually work with pipes that small.) Incredible service! And really appreciate the owner calling me to make it right. We'll certainly call Alpine back the next time that we need help.

They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. They are the nicest group of people I've ever hired. True to their word, take great pride in their work, take respectful care of their customers and provide easy breezey service. Shout out to the wonderful team that assist me on this project: Angel Perez, Jon Neves, Brad, Javier and The Purple Crane. Thank you thank you! I cannot thank you all enough! It was a pleasure working with you. Breana Cumberland Smith Chino, CA

I'd purchased a replacement for another house years ago so just needed it installed. $398 for install only. Job took less than an hour. I did it because I didn't have a lot of time to get it done. They were the only plumbers in the area who were willing to install the GE units and one of the very few who seemed experienced with installing heat pump water heaters. Many of the others we spoke to seemed more interested in steering us away from a heat pump water heater. They also installed a hot water recirculating pump for us. The technicians Sergio and Luis did a great job with both installations and were able to deal with some unexpected complications and Marie in the office was very responsive to our questions. The price for the water heater was over $700 less than an estimate for a comparable Bradford White water heater from another plumber, while the price for the recirculating pump was over $700 less. In fact, the price for the pump and its installation was $350 less than the price for the pump alone on the manufacturer website. I highly recommend them!

I'm writing this review because I rely on Yelp reviews for how I hire for home repair. I sent a…read moremessage late Tuesday night via Yelp and got a response even after hours. The next day Sam followed up with me and gave me a quote for a water heater install and said he'd be there within 2 hours when I was ready. I told him I needed to discuss with my wife. During this time, I called another local company for a quote and they quoted me about 800$ more for the same exact branded/sized water heater, installation hoses/connection, etc. their warranty was also one year less than AAA was providing. I then called another plumbing company and their quote was even more astronomical than the second company. So I called Sam back after agreeing with my wife that we would proceed with him. He stated he had a new customer in the 1 hour we'd last spoken, but not to worry because he'd still be there same day just later in the afternoon. He provided a time frame and text when he was 30 min out. He arrived and got the water heater swapped out in 2 hours as he said over the phone. We went from having a leaking water heater to a brand new one. It's all up to code and we feel very confident in Sam's work. Additionally, Sam was a very courteous and polite guy. He explained everything and answered every question we had. He never seemed rushed or tried to upsell us anything. His customer service was outstanding.

I had a fantastic experience with AAA Water Heater Company and can't recommend them highly enough…read morefor their honesty and professionalism. I reached out for a second opinion after another company suggested I immediately replace the water heater in my rental property with a much more expensive tankless unit. Instead of just trying to make a quick sale, Bill at AAA gave me a truly honest assessment. He pointed out that while a tankless system has its perks, the yearly maintenance requirements could actually be more of an inconvenience in a rental situation. He provided clear, transparent pricing for both traditional and tankless options but ultimately helped me realize that my current unit still has some life left in it. It's rare to find a business that prioritizes the customer's best interest over their own immediate profit. Because of this integrity, I've decided to "ride out" my current unit for now, but I will absolutely be calling them the moment it's time for a replacement. I plan to use them for my rental properties moving forward, and I will be recommending this company to all of my family and friends. If you want an expert opinion you can actually trust, look no further!

One yelp inquiry later within minutes, Cori and his team sent out Jason to help us out the next day (as we requested). We were given a window of 11 am - 1 pm and for the first time I've ever been given a window of arrival, Jason showed up promptly at 11 am. He went to work on inspection, giving recommendations, and then replacing the entire trifecta. We ran into some hiccups along the way where some pipe was dented from age and needed to be replaced and that was taken care of swiftly. We also have a napping newborn and he was miraculously able to sleep through the work and Jason was kind enough to work gently during the naps. After the job was done we chatted for a bit and he was on his way. Later that night I did notice a small leak coming from one of the couplings and Jason quickly returned the same night to fix the issue despite it being late. I even said we could wait until tomorrow but he insisted on getting to fixed. A quick fix later, all was well. I have working water pressure throughout the house and no more leaks.
