I had a great experience at this shop. I was calling around for quotes on a car window repair. Enter Hugo who provided me with the option to get the window regulator part independently or having him order it. He quoted me a great price and I made an appointment to bring my car in. When I arrived at the shop, everyone was friendly and it seemed like I was the only car there. He told me it would be about an hour, and asked if I wanted to wait. I opted to walk down to the Starbucks and visit a friend. When I got back, the worker told me he had just finished the car and he did a great job. Hugo is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, highly experienced, honest, and very helpful. The electronic switches on all 4 of my car doors had failed. I could not adjust my mirrors, lock/unlock the doors, and my driver window was stuck partially open--I needed to get it fixed asap. I suspected it was due to the outboard wiring harness driver door, but didn't have the time nor the expertise to fix it properly. When I brought it in to Hugo's shop around opening time, he was kind enough to work me into his busy schedule w/o an appointment. Thank goodness I found Hugo's before I kept my appointment at a different, more generalized auto shop. I figured a mechanic that specialized in electrical problems would be more likely to quickly determine why my power locks, windows, dome light and stereo were inoperative. Misguidedly, It probably wasn't my smartest move to stop by Hugo's without calling ahead; then again, I had only expected to set an appointment and get an estimate. Little did I know what a pleasant surprise was in store. Hugo sat down in the car, looked about, retrieved an instrument from a work bench, took some readings, and then set to work. However he gave me great advice about my car and said first replace the battery as it may solve your cars alternator and charging problems. I needed a specialist for a break/signaling electrical issue. After spending time, dealing with Dodge I dealership direct (against my better judgment), they could not identify the issue and charged me $700 just for diagnostic to tell me that the part they believe they need is not in stock anywhere but if they find it it will be $1250 to replace. My car was at the dealership for over two weeks and I had to reach out multiple times. I should've researched from the beginning, but came across Hugo's shop. The reviews alone were great and mentioned people going to dealerships getting quoted astronomical amount, and Hugo being able to not only fix the problem but for a way cheaper price. I scheduled a time with Hugo and he was able to look at my car right away and identify that there was some aftermarket parts at it that were no longer good however he could remove it and keep the factory settings. Not only did he fix the problem, he was able to show me physically what it looked like the wiring bunched that was after market to the original wiring from the factory. Something the dealership could not even tell me by visually looking. Hugo gave me a fair price and did everything in such a short time I was in and out and had a great experience. Hugo is the man. I bought a used VW Rabbit a few years back and when I did, they told me that they had taken the liberty of installing some HID headlights in the car. Cool, I thought to myself. Brighter lights are a good thing. FF to today and finally one of the bulbs goes out, or so I thought. The first place i took it to wouldn't even look at it. The second spot made me come back the next day and when I did, they told me that they only fix aftermarket HID's. Took it to Pep Boys and it was there that it was discovered that when they installed the light originally, they didn't mount the bulb with the correct locking ring. Instead they just decided to glue the bulb to the housing. Nightmare! Took my car to Hugo's this morning and even though he was busy, squeezed me in between jobs and handled all of this drama, mickey mouse tinkering, and madness dealing with this light for the last month and a half in less than an hour. He quickly figured out that it was the ballast/igniter module and hooked me up with a universal one. Light finally works fine & now I can sleep at night. I cannot express how thankful I am to this man for helping me out when all others wouldn't. read more

I came near closing because my window wouldn't roll up, and Hugo stayed late with his team and fixed the problem.
